Do not buy this cooktop. First of all, this is an induction cooktop, even though Best Buy does not have the correct name. Secondly, it just does not work properly. This is my 2nd GE induction cooktop because the first one (a different model) did not work either. I had a GE tech out to service this one, and his computer diagnostics came up with a service advisory… a known issue with the touch controls and radio frequency interference. He came out a 2nd time to install the GE recommended part and it did not fix this issue. Even with the new part, the touch controls still don’t respond as intended. I’m done with GE induction cooktops and now I’m on to try a different brand.
