I bought the Brother QL-600 label a few months ago. I tried, several brother support several times, and also went to their website. I had no luck trying to get a hold of the Brother support team at all. I downloaded all the necessary things for the printer. I got very frustrated trying to set it up. The instructions on the Brother website were very confusing to me. they, need to make the instructions easier to understand. that would be a big help!

It can be a little confusing as to what paper this machine uses. I tested it with all papers in the DK series and it works great. When using this for shipping labels I recommend buying the continuous roll DK-2205 and printing 7″ labels.

Recently purchased a Brother label printer-QL-600 and had hopes of it being replacement for my Dymo 450.
Unfortunately, after trying three plus times the machine would not connect to my IMac no matter what I tried. Followed the included directions in the box to no avail.
Anyone else had the problem ?

I’ve been considering buying one of these printers for some time but was hesitant because it’s such a small print area and I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the investment. I was so tired of buying ink and expensive ink jet labels for shipping that I finally bought one last week. Wow! It was so easy to set up and it prints REALLY fast. If you’re used to waiting around for your inkjet printer to print your labels you can forget about that. Also, I was pleasantly surprised with the usefulness of the Brother P-touch Editor software. Nice work Brother!
