This is a nice printer. Initial setup was somewhat annoying due to the fact that I had to utilize support and work on cleaning individual rollers which took several hours. Support was helpful however. Now the printer is functioning well. I wish the speed was a little faster from computer to printer. Some color adjustments needed to make the most vibrant prints, because the color is somewhat warm and washed out prior to changing settings. After some fiddling, this has been a solid printer. It has made WFH much easier. Scanner works quickly. I haven’t tested fax capability yet, but intend to soon.

Upgraded my old brother. Good quality and connection
Chaflan7 –
Great for my job I even imported some for my country to work in my company, great I recommend it.
Airpods –
I really like this printer , it has all the I need in one. And I like the fact that it does not drink ink, the toner is one of the best things about this printer.
Sheila –
If you want it, this printer probably has it. Fax, Copy, wireless printing, auto duplex printing, scanner, and all of this is in b&w or color.
SmithNJ –
This printer hasn’t failed to meet my expectations. It’s reliable workhorse printer. Prints quickly—there is a pause before printing starts. Paper jams are infrequent, but the LCD screen walks me through how to clear it. Using menus, the printer will print a fax cover sheet and other standard business forms. I just discovered I can scan documents to be saved in Evernote or Dropbox—a great solution for dealing with documents. Plus, it offers two-sided printing and scanning.
Hello –
Great machine. Wish I purchased it years ago and saved myself the headache of going into my office on weekends/off hours to scan with speed and ease. If I had to find one thing to comment on if the machine is idle for too long I need to turn off/then on to warm up.
jojo –
Easy to install. Dependable. Supplies not too expensive. Made this our standard printer.
SBsmw –
My dad loves this printer! His last one broke down after 7 years and he was happy to get the same model.
MerrillS –
Very good color laser all-in-one printer. I got it for home use, printing & scanning documents from PC & iPhones. Much better than ink-jet, toner doesn’t dry out like ink-jet ink does. Comes with a set of standard size toner cartridges. If you subtract the cost of the cartridges from the cost of the printer, you’ll realize how inexpensive the printer really is. The printer is heavy and needs to be on a sturdy table. Mine is on an end table next to my desk.
The setup went smoothly with the printer on WiFi and the CD-Rom in my desktop. At the end of the setup, the printer and the PC updated themselves from the Internet. I leave it on and asleep 24×7.
Print & scan quality are excellent. The print, copy & ADF scanner resolution are 600 DPI, the flatbed scanner is 1200 DPI. Colors are good for office use but definitely not photo quality. If you print color photos, you need an ink-jet.
I bought this printer because of it’s overall functionality & quality. I use duplex printing & scanning 99% of the time. I really like the ADF single pass duplex scanner, it never jams. The reversing ADF scanner in my previous printer (another mfg’r) used to jam more often than not. Also this ADF scanner’s 600 DPI resolution is really appreciated, the other mfg’r that I considered highlighted his 1200 DPI flatbed resolution but carefully avoided mentioning his ADF resolution. If you go to the store and try that other mfg’rs ADF scanner, you find out that it’s still the same 300 DPI that it was in 2013.

I needed a decent home printer for my consulting business. I needed something that had decent capacity and service life with printing and scanning capability. It also had to support wifi connectivity.
I’ve used HP and Canon printers for decades and I’ve never been happy. Hard to set up or poor customer support.
After months of research I settled on this machine. I had to wait for it to come back in stock but I’m happy I waited.
Set up was a breeze. I followed the instructions and it connected to my wifi with no issues. All of my devices can print to it. Quality is very good.
Scanning directly to google drive works flawlessly as well.
I would recommend this printer.
Vega1210 –
This printer is great. Color printing is amazing. Its not photo quality but its really close. We got this because of covid and having my daughter at home for school needed another printer. Always wanted a color laser printer and finally purchased one. I’m glad I didn’t wait any longer. The only negative I would have to say is the first page print takes a few seconds longer then what I’m use to. If printing multiple pages that averages out and isn’t an issue when doing the math of total pages. Scanner works great. Haven’t really tested the fax part of this printer but its great to know i have that as an option if ever needed.
KFTN –
Easy setup, had the printer unboxed and functioning in less than 30 minutes. However, after printing several different types of documents and pictures we were very unhappy with the print quality. Searched online for some tips and followed through with what we found. Nothing improved the print quality of images. Text documents looked fine. We ended up returning the printer.

Great Machine , works well, good value, very good options and features;

On time delivery, excellent customer experience, so far this has been a great printer for a small office.
Erik –
For the price, you cannot beat it. We are a small-medium office and this machine runs like a tank. Sure, ink gets pricey, but for what we can do in-house, I am very satisfied. Very high quality prints and responsive buttons. Highly recommend.
MaBug –
Sorry to have to leave such a low review. Big expensive printer, super excited to get it. It did everything great as far as printing and scanning, but when I copied something it a bit blurry and washed out. Called Geek squad and they were great but couldn’t fix the issue. They said it was a hardware issue (if the problem was with the printer or scanner it would have been an issue with the drivers, but the copier was hardware). They sent a replacement printer and I received it with the same exact issue. This time I dealt with Brother Tech Support, it got elevated, then elevated again, no fix. Worst support experience ever and I am 60 years old. They repeatedly told me they would call me back and never did. I’m done with Brother. Back to HP for me. :0/

This is a GREAT printer! Used for a church office with 12 employees. Quality for B&W is outstanding. Scanner is one of the best I’ve ever seen and easiest to operate. Even the fax works flawlessly. I used lots for different paper sizes — printing certificates, cards & invoices — and that works great too. Even looks classy! I did my homework; really checked out the competition and this is the best you’re going to get for you money.
PreviewOC –
I normally write reviews after I have used the product for quite some time. With that said, I have had this printer for nearly 2 years and it runs like a champ. I love the wireless capabilities for printing from our mobile phones and it’s super quiet. Highly recommend this printer. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the toner cartridges are “extremely expensive”. That’s my only complaint. I personally order TN-436 Super High-Yield Toner Cartridges.
John –
Easy setup and has the features I was looking for. Love the one touch scan to email. I would recommend this printer for a small office setting.
Exchief –
Excellent machine. Connects easily to internet and works well. Second Brother in use!
deedeemontana –
My office staff and myself are quite happy with this upgrade. The machine is super fast printing and scanning. I use my printers all day and this is saving us time because it is so fast. So far, I have not been disappointed in any part of this printer.
MEME –
PRINTS TOO SLOW, TAKES UP TO MUCH ROOM, PRINTER WILL SHOW ALL SIGNS OF DIRT DUST PARTICLES, ITS TRUE WHITE.
EthansMema –
I truly love this printer. It works great and the ink lasts a VERY long time. I used to have to replace cartridges oh my previous printer quite often and they’re so expensive! I also discovered that I could buy “off brand” refills for this printer on Amazon for so much less than the Brother refills are. And so far they’ve always worked great.
Now, my only issue is that after a good year without any problems, it now constantly loses connection with my computer. I’d have to get behind the cabinet it sits on and unplug it and plug it back in. CONSTANTLY! That was not an easy task. I was getting very frustrated, and have no idea why this started happening. But I found a bandaid for the situation, I bought a cheap smart plug from Amazon and whenever I need the printer I use to app (or ask Alexa) to disconnect the power and reconnect it. It’s still a pain, but not like it was, and it works great.
dcp66 –
I have used Brother printers for a long time. They hold up and are a great value. The only reason I replaced my other Brother MFC (from 2008) printer was because of an MS Win 10 upgrade that won’t let the computer scan. I only wish that the paper trays would take envelopes. I did buy an additional paper tray so I am stocked with legal and letter sizes. The trays are very pricy, too pricy. Over all I am satisfied.
UnaJeepa –
use for home/school. great when it works. was connected to network then disconnected for some reason. the issue might be on our end, not the printer end. otherwise scan and copy work great even if the network issue is there.
Randyh –
The Brother Laser printer is fast and flawless. The colors are vibrant and clear. It has been a joy to use.
Barbara –
The max daddy of printers. It is reasonably fast, It does it all and it is reliable. The only drawback is the price of the cartridge replacement. The good thing is that they print a thousand or more pages before they run out. It is a wireless so I can print from my phone, my laptop or my tablet.
It has good color but this isn’t a photo printer so if that is what you want, not this one. If you print tons of written work with some illustrations, it works well.
I’ve has this for quite some time and haven’t had a problem yet.
StorminNorman –
This is the best printer I have ever used. Bought this one to use in home
Chuck –
Not as good as I was expecting. It is noisy and feels clunky. But, it does produce nice clean copy and I guess that’s what its all about. I tried using some heavier stock to make a greeting card, but the rollers are so tight that produced a curl in the card stock paper. Too bad because the cards come out really nice and crisp looking.
LynnG –
The duplex scanning on this printer is excellent, just like an ADS-2700. I returned this printer however because it jammed every time when trying to print two sided. I went through the trouble shooting process with Geek Squad and Brother to no avail. I am now thinking I am better off with a separate scanner (2700) and a separate duplex color laser printer (also Brother). I returned this printer for credit with no issues, Best Buy is very good about that.
MetalMegadeth –
great for business use if like printer in black and color and brother printers are reliable and gets job done
Bestbuy101 –
The copied pages started wrinkling to the point of no return after only 8 months. I’m pretty sure the fuser went out. Trying to redeem the warranty is a nightmare and isn’t worth the trouble. An $800 printer should last longer than this.
LauraL –
Love the quality of the print as well as the speed. WiFi connection was simple. Scan to computer works well also.
JoshuaS –
Best Printer, best color on Paper, fast print loved.
EJCHIP –
Printer quality is good, scanner is fast and high quality. Have purchased mutliple of these with no issues
CatherineF –
Great Machine! I had a Brother all in one for 9 years and it was time to be replaced. I decided to switch brands because I was impatient and wanted it immediately, rather than ordering one. Big mistake, I spent 2 weeks using the other brand and had enough. I ordered this one on line, it was delivered earlier than expected, set it up in 30 minutes and I’m back to being in business and loving the quality, quietness and overall performance of this machine!

Reliable affordable multifunction color laser printer, scanner, copier and fax – ideal for my small business home office

Great all in one printer/copier. Does everything you need.
SCSC –
Bought this printer for our business. The print quality is top notch and the machine is so dependable and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone needing a printer.
Kimi –
This was a game changer!! Quiet and quick! Not sure how we got along without it!
BarbaraM –
I love the Brother – MFC-L8900CDW Wireless Color All-in-One Laser Printer! Delivery of this product was quick and convenient. This printer is the best and easy to maintain.
NickA –
It works as expected. Good product. Very efficient.
VanessabV –
Never got item its been almost a month and still no refund
DaveC –
Very nice printer. Right out of the box the setup was very simple. Excellent quality printing. Very fast delivery straight to the front door. I look forward to printing now.
billj –
Fast, quiet. Did I mention fast? I have not tried scanning yet but I need to do this as well,
Marc –
Small office setting. Easy setup. Print quality is good for business presentations. Have been using it for about 3 weeks with no issues.
SarahC –
Great printer. Be warned, it’s not light. Make sure you have a stand/desk that can bear the weight. Take your time in the set up to make sure everything is connected for scanning. Overall, I’m very happy with this printer. If you’re looking for something that has a higher capacity than a traditional “home office printer” this is worth the money.
Ilse –
I will recommend this for a small business. Sometimes its a little slow printing or to receive the information but its still good.
