    After installation, printer indicated problem with ink level. I removed cartridge and discovered it was empty. I returned to local Best Buy, but they said if ink was opened I could not return or get refund. Suggested I contact Brother for service.

    I would recommend not purchasing these cartridges do not last at all only printed twice after that the cartridges needed to be replaced.

    I purchased this ink for my MFC-J885DW to replace my spent Black cartridge. While I am still getting print-outs the ink level is not showing up as full which is strange because it’s a brand new cartridge. I am unsure if this is due to the printer or the cartridge. I will wait and see what happens and how long it lasts. I haven’t had any issues before.
