I read several reviews that were not so great about this printer and how hard it was to set up. I ordered it anyway because the price was right and I love this printer! I had it set up in about five minutes. Not sure why others said it was so difficult. I am not a tech-savvy person and this was a no-brainer. It prints amazingly well for what I use it for. It’s not a photo printer. I print a lot of stuff for my classroom and It has been amazing for that. It came with toner already installed which I missed in the description and ordered a pack of toners so I am set on that for a long time. I would definitely recommend this printer. It has been wonderful.

This is amazing! So many prints so much cheaper than ink jet per print. I do printables for journaling and the color is beautiful. I have a scanner on another printer so did not need that just scan to my PC then print to the brother if I want non-water soluble prints for art projects or image transfers or whatever. Ink jets are not waterproof. Great deal since I also got an extra black cartridge! Easy setup just love it!!!

When one of your colors runs out it will not print in Black and White.
They say you can but it will not. I had to do a printer install with a PCL driver from a dummer printer to get it to print in Black and white. Anything I guess to force you to keep all colors purchased .

I’ve had this printer for a couple of months now and it has been incredibly helpful. I print stuff all the time, and I had been using Staples & FedEx and places like that, and it became clear right away that this was way more economical. And I get a lot of comments on the quality of the print stuff, especially compared to the old ones!

I can’t give it a high review because it didn’t work the way I needed it to for my photos. It does not handle any type of card stock-none. Only for documents. I do like Brother printers though and I do think this would work for a small office. Be aware that the replacement toner pack is more expensive than the printer. If you go with a cheaper brand you may loose the quality of print.
