    By far the best $90 I’ve ever spent. My flatdeck scanner was always such a pain to use – this little guy is fast, I can control exactly where the scanned page goes and in what format, and I can add additional pages easily. I love it!

    Of all the scanners I have used this is one of the worst I have ever used. Quality is below what I expected from Brother. I was unable to get a decent scan after several tries. Not built to Brothers standard as far as I was concerned.

    This scanner is perfect for my home office where I just need to do occasional scanning. Quality is decent and doesn’t take up much room. Took a little to set up on my Mac, but now everything is good.

    This scanner is a fantastic easy-to-use device for those who are committed to DIY projects rather than hiring professionals to do these tasks. I used this scanner to digitize my family’s photo albums so that we had a digital archive that can be accessed anywhere. The quality is high enough that if I wanted to reprint any of these photos, there would not be a significant loss of quality. And the file sizes are not storage limit destroyers for wherever you choose to store the digital files.

    Once you get into a flow, the scanning process goes relatively quickly. The scanner does jam frequently but because of the size, all you have to do is pop it open and try again. If you don’t rush it, it won’t jam.

    Scanning documents and OCR works fine on MacOS. Software is easy to use for just pure scanning and saving pdf. Very simplistic but perfect for my needs. This scanner only takes documents with a few pages at most so no scanning of magazines or books, etc.

    We bought this for our daughter to take to college, super easy to use and set up. Scan quality is amazing for such a small unit. Wish it had the carry sleeve with it like our first one did, otherwise we’ll worth the money

    I purchased this for my son during school shut downs since he had to constantly submit his work. He Absolutely loved this item and stopped him from having to get up and use the family printer to scan things from his room.

    Works great for what I need. Plugs into my laptop and alows me to scan finciial documents so I
    don’t have a bunch of paper files to deal with. I can search by keyword if I get filing categories mixed up. This also allows me to email scanned documents when needed.

    I would highly recommend not getting this portable scanner. The concept, structure and price of the scanner are all great, and when it works it works well. I’ve purchased two of these scanners (returned the first due to the same issues) in hopes of having luck and to no avail. The scanner drivers and software install with no problems, and it will remain online until I scan a single page. The machine disconnects from my computer after ever page it scans. First one did as well. I have to leave the device unplugged for about an hour, plug it back in, then reinstall the machine to my laptop in order to scan another single piece of paper. It doesn’t make scanning calculus homework (the primary reason for purchase) a fun time. I have never had such a fiasco with a simple piece of machinery, and I intend on returning this yet again and getting a different brand of scanner. I’m happy for all the ones that work for people, but I am incredibly dissatisfied with this product.

    I was originally hesitant on getting this because I wanted something that would be good for photos. This is amazing for photos! I had to quarantine and decided to scan all my families old photos. It did it amazingly!

    I’m doing a major project, scanning 25 years of photographs. This is perfect for a low cost scanner. Good quality photo scans even though this is now of a document scanner. I couldn’t afford a photo scanner that would feed in ac stack of photos but for under $100 this is perfect.

    This little thing works really well! I have never used a portable scanner before so I had no idea what to expect. What I got was an easy to use device that takes excellent scans. I bought this mostly for pictures, but is has scanned documents, racing bibs and pictures with excellent color reproduction.

    I did install the software that was recommended, but technically I could have used the built in one for My MacBook Pro, but I’m glad I used the other one. It makes it easy to add additional pages to the same document. Overall, I would totally buy this again. It can’t do two sides at the same time, but that is not a big deal considering pictures were the primary reason. I wanted this scanner.

    So easy to use for quick scans of credit cards, ID cards, one-sided sheets. No need to drag out my bulky multipurpose all-in-one. It produces clear images and is compatible with Windows 10 and 11.
