I’M A MOBILE NOTARY AND THIS SCANNER IS A LIFE SAVER. YES YOU CAN USE IT AS A DESKTOP SCANNER BUT, I USE IT ON THE GOWITH A MINI POWER INVERTER THAT PLUGS INTO THE CAR’S CIGARETTE LIGHTER. FOR WHEN I HAVE TO SCAN BACK DOCUMENTS WHILE I’M OUT ON ASSIGNMENT.

Easy and straightforward to use. You do not have to put receipts in a plastic cover before scanning. Scans receipts with ease and they turn out one sided automatically as a pdf.

The scanner is more of a 4.75 since it only does 8.5″ wide paper, but I knew that when I purchased it.
It was easy to setup on my home wireless network. The driver download and installation didn’t take very long at all and worked with my 8 year old Windows 10 laptop right away.
It is very fast (they weren’t kidding about high speed) and hasn’t skipped any pages so far. I’ve stacked about 35 pages at a time with a mix of 8.5 x 11 and 8.5 x 14 pages.
