I love this Breville bread maker. Makes great bread and you don’t have to scrape down the sides of the pan. All you have to do is add ingredients and walk away.

We’ve owned several other breadmakers in the past. This one made great dough, but could not make bread. Just made a heap of flour/yeast/etc. I think it was the paddle – it is very poorly designed and does not seem to flap up and down when it is supposed to, or remove easily (we really strained to remove it).

On the plus side, the dial interface was outstanding and intuitive. It looks great too. If that’s important to you, this is your machine. But if you want to make bread, I recommend looking for something else.

One of the most versatile bread machines available. Very easy to use, lots of options and I’ve always gotten excellent results with it.

  4. Wigmaster

There is nothing like bread made with unbromated flour. The Breville is an excellent bread maker. Easy to learn the many options. It’s a smart machine. Excellent investment for a family.

Shipping was great, product was as described. tanks

I had thoroughly reviewed what was on the market available. Automatic dispenser, back lighting for the easy to use menu, light inside the baking cavity & the ability to customize your recipes. This is just a short list. I was worried how difficult the bread pan would be to get in & out. My old bread machine you had twist it. Just sit in place & good to go! No need for two handles.

Just follow manufacture’s order of any recipe. I worked for years attempting get the rolls that melt in your mouth. First time out of the gate, success finally! I let the machine make the dough. What a sweet taste of success. Oh so yummy!

I love the bread that’s coming out of this maker. My wife is trying all types of recipes that are good. I highly recommend this if you’re trying to make your own bread and take out the preservatives. We lover the features as well and the size of the bread

After extensive research this was my bread machine choice. Best Buy’s advantage is price matching and rewards. The machine is quite simple to use. Follow the instructions, adjust the settings, add the ingredients in the correct order (yeast last), press start and enjoy your home smelling like fresh baked bread. Almost heaven!

Not sure how it works yet. I have not given the gift.

Been looking for a good bread maker and Breville is a well known brand name.

I had a lesser quality bread maker before and it did not last more than 2 years. The quality of the bread was inconsistent, as well. This was a big decision economically because I was hesitant that Breville’s machine would be so different to justify the expense. Well, I am so happy which this purchase. EVERYTHING I have made has turned out much higher than my expectations. The machine is well made, easy to use, and looks so nice in my kitchen when I am baking in it. I have made several different kinds of bread, basic, french, and cinnamon raisin. Today, I made cinnamon raisin buns with the dough function. They look like restaurant quality, but still warm. Right now, I am making the milk and honey bread. The way the machine operates, I am confident I will have it for many years to come, and will certainly offset the initial investment. In this case, I believe you get what you pay for. Highly recommend. Oh, by the way, a 1.5 loaf of bread costs me approximately $.50 🙂

This bread machine is everything I wanted it to be. I especially like how versatile it is. I’ve made yeast breads, quick breads, and pizza dough, and they’ve turned out great.

Good choice does an amazing job worth your money.totally in love with my bread maker

I bought 6 of these and gave to relatives for Christmas. Everyone has been delighted to this point (February) with the ease of use and the bread. A few said they had some trial and error until the actually followed the directions for the dough mix so that was “pilot error” since the machine performed perfectly.

Honestly I really think this machine would be awesome, however, I was sent a broken, previous customers return. So I was unable to use it. So disappointed! That being said, the return went pretty smoothly. I will purchase again when the item is fully stocked.

So I was using another Japanese brand bread maker but it was limited to just a one pound loaf and I was finding that I was going through the bread faster than originally planned. I saw that Breville, which is a brand I really like and trust, made a bread maker that offered 4 loaf sizes. I thought it would give me more freedom to choose the size of loaf that I currently don’t have.

Firstly, it looks pretty nice as it’s all stainless steel but I though it would be more sturdy, like several of Breville’s blenders. The steel seems a bit flimsy in places. The lcd screen is nice and easy to navigate. I appreciate the interior viewing window as my existing maker doesn’t have one. It’s a pretty big machine overall but that’s to be expected for a maker that can produce up to a 2.5 pound loaf. I though the mixing paddle was interesting as it could collapse flat during kneading cycles and during baking. That way, there is less of a gap created by the paddle during baking.

Using the machine was quite easy. You select the style of bread, the crust color (light, med and dark) and finally the loaf size. It offers 4 sizes…1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 pound loaves. The very thorough instruction booklet also includes a large sampling of recipes. I followed the rapid basic white recipe, and at a 2 pound size. I added the ingredients in the order the recipe suggested, placed the bread pan in position and then started the cycle. I found that the machine is much louder and vibrates much more than my other Japanese machine. It seemed to wander just a bit on the counter while kneading. After several kneading and rise cycles, it started baking. The window let me see the process and I noticed how irregular the dough ball was as it started baking. I probably should have reshaped the dough after the middle rise cycle because the finished loaf was a bit of a mess on top. My other maker never once had this problem and produced a perfect loaf every time. It’s disappointing that Breville’s program didn’t accomplish this as well.

Next time, I think I’ll try the ‘light” crust option, as the crust seemed a bit hard with this first loaf. It taste fine but again, the shape and texture are not up to snuff with my other maker.

Im going to try a couple of more times and if things don’t show much improvement, I may be returning this unit and just live with the smaller output from my existing machine. I really love Breville but my first impression of this machine is not as glowing as I thought it would have been. Hopefully it will be better on my next bake.

It is easy to use. Appears to be study construction. We bought it recently.

So far we didn’t succeed in making a satisfactory (to us) loaf of bread, but it sure is fun trying. There are lots of recipes in the book. (And maybe I should follow directions better? ) They are correct about the need for the vital wheat gluten to make the dough raise better. (We are experimenting with two-cup sizes, which this machine can accommodate.)

The lighted window to peek in is a great addition.

So let me start by saying, I am an Operations Manager for one of the largest Commercial Bakeries on the East Coast. When you go to the store you’re probably buying one of my loaves. So I know a thing or two about bread. And while I totally believe in the quality of the products my company produces there is something about Fresh Artisan Bread that just can’t be reproduced on a Bakery Line. So while I can take home all the free bread I want from work. I had to buy this machine. Because nothing pairs better with a Sunday Family Meal like REAL BREAD. I was nervous the first batch for the first 30 mins or so as I watched it kneading the bread thinking to myself this isnt going to work. And I started having Buyers Remorse. But by the time it started to Proof, I thought OK maybe it’s not so bad after all. 2 hours later all my fears were put to rest as I pulled it out of the Machine and placed it on the Cooling Rack. I am now a believer and use this machine sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. As I said previously in the Title, I LOVE THIS MACHINE. AND YOU WILL TOO.

I was finally able to pick up this hard to find Breville bread maker at Best Buy. I’ve always loved the fit and finish of Breville’s products. A baked a few loaves so far, and they’ve all come out great. I love the collapsible paddle feature. It leaves a less noticeable hole in the bread while baking.
A note about the fruit and nut dispenser: raisins seem to get a little stuck in the compartment. I have a feeling nuts will drop much easier. In the future, I’ll just lift the lid and add raisins when the notification bell rings. (15-20 minutes into cycle)

  20. Qman19

Fit and finish is much better then I thought it would be. Looks really good and matches other stainless kitchen appliances. All the bread options and features make making bread so easy and fun. Reminds me of my moms old bread man plus.

  21. Sheri

It had some flaws on the lid, but the item is just not what it’s cracked up to be Breville has some product that’s much more quality than this. I would not want one ever again.

  22. Rose

It works but not the same. I know everyone says homade bread is the best but the machine doesn’t even come close to making it yourself. I tried this for a month and just didn’t find it enjoyable. The timing feature and recipes were helpful but not for me. If your lazy and don’t care about the taste then sure this works just not soft moist bread. It constantly makes mediocre doughs.

  23. PennsylvaniaBaker33

I like the variety of settings and the fact that the bread has been consistently good. Also the sweet dough and dough for pizza has been terrific. It only takes one hour and i can make the best cinnamon rolls for my family with the dough from this machine. It might be slightly more expensive than other machines, but you have more options with this bread machine.

  24. Unknown

Its a great product my family loves how easy it is to add nuts and even chocolate chips such an amazing bread machine 🙂

  25. PCtech

Wife really likes it. We noticed it seems to be the most saught after bread maker.

  26. iamjuan

Don’t be afraid to test other recipes, the ones it comes with are a good start and bread gets really fluffy!

  27. MichaelC

I have now made 10 loafs of bread since getting this a few weeks ago. I am so in love with this machine in how convenient it makes it to wake up to warm, fresh bread.

My wife is so happy with my decision to purchase this as it a little pricy. Love truly begins in the stomach as she gives me a kiss in the cheek after having fresh bread.

  28. MohuArcIndoorAntenna

I love this bread maker. It has made perfect bread from the 1st day.

  29. TrishaR

This was a great gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves everything about this bread machine.
