    This is a user friendly microwave. You simply spin the dial to select the cooking time or you can opt to use a specific food button, which I rarely do. It is also super easy to reset the clock. The door handle self closes when touching the frame and it is quiet when cooking. I own three of these microwaves; one for the cabin, one for home, one for work.
    I purchased another brand that was on sale but after trying to figure out how to cook with it, I disliked the complicated steps and returned it.

    Best compact microwave EVER… absolutely love the soft close door( no more loud microwave slamming in the wee morning hours ) I also love that you can mute the “beep beep” when something has finished and it scrolls END instead silently. You can fit a full size pasta bowl or plate and size wise it’s unobtrusive . I love Breville appliances, quality that lasts. It’s efficient and nice looking too!

    Great purchase ever but I do have several breville products so I just knew the quality of the product was going to be like no other, the performance , and cooking settings are great warms up food and drinks quickly and the popcorn no more burnt or under cooked kernels

    Purchased 10/2022 . Less than 1 year later, one of the two hooks that close the door broke off after it would not close anymore. Also, frustrating is the knob wherein you have to choose in increments of 5 seconds when choosing a time over 20 seconds. Also, the turntable plate likes to come off often.

    We had to buy this twice – the first one was defective and the door wouldn’t close. When we forced it closed, it overloaded our circuit breaker and the power went out in half of our kitchen and we didn’t realize it until I noticed the fridge lights were out.

    The 2nd one we got works great. The soft close door doesn’t always close, but it’s not a dealbreaker. This is a 900 watt microwave though, so if you’re used to a super powerful 1200watt one (like our old over-the-range one), you may need to adjust some of your heating times. It doesn’t have all the preset bells and whistles but that’s okay if you’re just looking for a basic microwave that doesn’t look like it’s from the 1980s.

    L O V E this microwave. This is how all microwaves should be. You can turn off the beeper, and it closes softly. Buttons are raised and soft instead of hard glass. Dial for time is SO intuitive.

    GREAT little Microwave. We bought it to replace a 1,000 watt over the stove hood microwave to move to a full hood. It does a great job! Heats evenly the only difference is the small size. But since we rarely use it for large items it works out perfectly. the small size is also a blessing as it fits anywhere! The soft close is once compared to the loud push button opening of other small microwaves. Finally, the icing on the cake is the wonderful MUTE button that silences the beeping so those early-morning coffees and late-night snacks won’t wake up the house.

    That is until the plastic door hook broke.
    Will need to see if there’s a way to replace that part. But a bit of a let down for how expensive this was.

    I’ve only had this oven for a few months, but so far it’s done everything I’ve needed it to do, and is intuitive to use.

    One nice feature is that it can be muted so one doesn’t have to listen to loud beeps when pressing buttons and such.

    i love this microwave, as i love all the breville appliances i have purchased (toaster oven, espresso maker, this microwave). the wonderful thing about this microwave is that it genuinely avoids the traditional SLAM of other microwaves. The gentle close WORKS. it is wonderful, and i recommend this microwave to the moon and back.

    Honestly, I’m bonkers for my new microwave by Breville. I love the soft-close feature, appreciate the handle, and the operating buttons. I had a black microwave before, but this one has better visuals and touch operations.

    Small, but not that mighty. I only give it 1 star for the size and aesthetics of it not durability nor functionality.
    I was really excited about this purchase I made in Feb 2022 but quickly realized that it’s power wasn’t that great. I stuck with it, but by Nov 2023, I was already calling Breville because this microwave started popping and smoking while I was reheating veggies.
    When I called Breville, they knew exactly what part was popping and asked if it was black. They proceeded to explain they will send me replacement for blackened part so I can replace my own. They are confident that will work.
    So disappointing that I paid $200 for a microwave to give out on me in under 2 years and it never really worked that that great.
    Now I wait.

    Garbage. “Soft” close door stopped working properly after a few weeks. Less than 6 months later, the microwave door would not close and started to trip my breaker. I owned this product less than 6 months and Best Buy refused to help, directing me to the manufacutre. I might as well have bought it from the manufacture instead of Best Buy. If this is BB policy, why use them for appliances?

    The look is BEAUTIFUL. I really enjoyed this microwave. But unfortunately, it did not hold up very well because after a year (almost two years), it began to break little by little and it did not heat up as much. SO that is why i gave it three stars :/ . i really wanted to love it. I will see if they can replace it !
