    This is my first electric shaver after using a safety razor for 25 years. It is easy on the skin with no irritation. I was surprised how close of a shave that it provided. After a couple weeks of ownership I have no complaints and would recommend this shaver. There is a slight “learning curve” to get a close, complete, and quick shave. It is a good value if purchased “on sale.”

    Doesn’t shave well for the price. Not worth the $$$, probably better off using another $50-60 shaver.

    It’s really bad at getting hairs on my neck – tried both wet and dry- and i need to run it over many many times to get the same shave i got from my old shaver.

    Excellent electric shaver. The key is a trimmer that runs (in a line) between the two foil shaving areas. This trimmer cuts longer hairs, making them short enough to get shaved by the foil shavers. With previous shavers I’ve used, if I don’t use for a few days, it doesn’t work properly. I have to shave with a razor. It’s no problem with this Braun shaver. It works well under my chin too, which is a problem area for other shavers (and even for razor).

    Battery charge lasts a long time. I have not plugged it in at all since initial full charge about a month ago (I don’t shave every day). It now beeps (after finishing shave) to indicate low charge, but I want to see how much longer it will run before plugging in to re-charge.

    It comes with accessories. Obviously, a charger. There’s a trimmer head that swaps with shaver head. Haven’t tried it yet. It also comes with self-cleaning system that’s like a stand with reservoir for cleaning fluid in its base. Haven’t used it either. Rather large (relative to size of shaver). Ongoing purchase needed to replenish cleaning fluid. BUT it’s not required; shaver can be cleaned by brushing off area under removable head (small brush included). I’ll maybe set it up (where I have more space) and use occasionally.

    In summary, a well-designed easy-to-use product that’s worth the price. After using one month, I’ll say it’s best electric shaver I’ve owned.

    Work ok the first time, then went to use the second time and all it did was yank and pull on my facial hair. painful. I had an old braun for 10 years and worked great. Now all their new models seem to be junk and frightening to use. very disappointed.

    The Braun Series 7 Wet Dry electric shaver seems to cut smoothly over the younger not so aged skin. The dual wet dry feature is a big win especially if you don’t have access to water at the time of need.

    This razor does not cut well at all! Plus the razor head falls off in mid shave while shaving my neck very often. I have purchased two replacement heads due to the head bending after falling off or to see if a new head shaves better. it did not shave any better. I spend a few extra minutes everyday shaving to get a close shave. I was very disappointed in this razor.

    I’ve had this Braun shaver about three months now. It replaced a Phillips Norelco that I used for about 10 years. The Braun gives me much closer shave in half the time, so it’s easier on my face. My shaver before the Philips was so a Braun and I really liked it, but the battery stopped holding a charge after three or four years. That’s why I went with the Phillips. It was a higher end model but never shaved as well as the Braun. The trimmer attachment works very well too for grooming. It has a hard travel case which is a huge improvement over the plastic screen protector that the Philips had. The only reason I didn’t give the Braun 5 stars is because of the clunky and somewhat expensive cleaning cartridges. The Philips cleaning system had a reservoir that you filled yourself and the refill bottles of solution were pretty cheap. Otherwise this is a great product and I have high hopes that the battery technology has improved.

    While this gets you a good shave there’s 2 flaws that are pretty annoying:
    1. There’s a hole at the bottom of the head that allows the hair clippings to leak out of. That’s pretty annoying because you have to rinse the shaver out every use if you’re traveling or have clippings all over the travel case
    2. Putting on the sideburn clipper is annoying. I came from a Panasonic Arc shaver and I miss the pop up sideburn clipper

    Dropped my phillips norelco by accident 1 day and it didn’t function the same since so picked this up after much research. Works just as good though need to be careful how you angle it as you can create small cuts on yourself (I shave bare). It has a cleaning dock kit which is nice though I never used it as didn’t want to spend money to repurchase the products. I open the head and tap a few times to get rid of what facial hair residuals I can after a handful of shaves a week and and it works like its new again lol! (if you don’t do this from time to time, you will notice a need to go to shave that same area a few times to get it “shaved”). Overall, definitely recommend this product as had it for over a few years w/o issues.
