I already had in-wall speakers installed in my family room, but they were contractor-grade. The sound was inferior and I desperately needed an upgrade. Based on the configuration of my room, bookshelf speakers would not work for me. On the recommendation of the Magnolia system designer, I purchased a pair of the Bowers & Wilkins CWM362’s for my front L and R speakers. What an improvement! Installed in a proper enclosure, these are as good as bookshelf speakers and they definitely met my needs.

The sound quality is a little hit or miss when i listen carefully… but i hooked them up under a soffit with HVAC – use caution to avoid echo effect.

Bought these speakers as surround rear speakers in a 5.1 setup. Speakers are a good size. The overall construction is typical Bowers and Wilkins quality. Speakers sound great especially if paired with a properly sized receiver. Installation was also very easy since they provide a template as well as a dust cover.

Love these speakers. Previous house owner had rectangular in-wall speakers placed in room ceilings. Some 35 years later they were completely shot. These B&W CWM362’s fit the bill. they sound great and fit the openings filled by the “old” speakers.
