  • 1″ Decoupled Double Dome Aluminum Tweeter
    The dual-layer aluminium dome is driven by a neodymium magnet used in our 700 Series for smooth and clear high frequencies. The whole drive unit is isolated from the main cabinet with a decoupling rubber ring that improves clarity and imaging.

    The speakers sound great, at the full range of sound kevels. No tone adjustments required. They can handle up to 200 watts I believe (although we have come nowhere near that loud!).

    Absolutely fantastic speakers. Far greater depth in the music quality. One piece of advice….test on CD or other high quality piece of music. Not Pandora. Bandwidth is not sufficient. Also, don’t overlook the speaker stands the box. Absolutely necessary for stability on carpet.

    I am happy to say the highs and lows work very well with my NAD receiver. My 18×20′ room is filled with the sound I wanted.

    A recent turn table addition enables me to hear classic sounds not previously audible via streaming media. Any buyer should be pleased with the fidelity of these speakers.

    I bought these speakers after using the smaller “bookshelf” B&W speakers. I was so impressed with the smaller ones and they certainly influenced my decision to purchase these larger ones. I did a lot of research on these speakers before buying. These are excellent speakers. Great bass and clear tweeter and midrange. I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend these speakers.

    High end is crystal clear. Low end could use a little subwoofer action to bump up the bass. Don’t forget your speaker wire.

    Fantastic floor speaker for Hi-Fi applications. Full and rich sound with a well balanced response-power lows and crisp uppers across the full volume spectrum. Strong enough for large rooms but also well behaved for smaller spaces. Fantastic speaker for the money.

    These speakers are great! Much better than the definitive tech tower speakers I had before. Too many issues with those speakers. These ones are so much more clear and the don’t need their own power supply like the definitive tech speakers did.

    Went in to check out the s3 bookshelf speakers and these were on clearance at 400 each with zero damage, only missing a grille and the base. So happy and who cares if they are s2s. B&W never disappoint.

    I bought these to replace my 30 year old Polk monitors. The Polks sound better to me so I returned the B&Ws. I didn’t hear the clarity that everyone talks about. Bestbuy return policy is great.

    These are great speakers, especially for price i got them for. There are better but have to pay way more. Gave a 4* bscause they sound completely different in store with room size and different amps. would recommend. Add an 8″ sub for well rounded sound. Bigger subs not needed. Tweeter can be a little harsh and up front because of cone material.

    Without question, these hold up in my large living room VERY WELL. They sound incredible and paired with the appropriate center channel its changed my experience watching anything at home and i love it!

    Best spund i have herd under 3k. Make sure you have a strong enough amp to push these or bi-amp them. The imaging and depth is amazing. Also they look great with no grills.

    I have a 7.2.2 set up. At first i wasn’t crazy about the sound, but adding an external 3 channel amp 140w per channel plus biwire i am impressed. Very detailed sound. Just need the power to push them.

    I love the sound. Each speaker manufacturer and series within their lineup has distinct tonality. These are right up my alley – plus I scored them on an open box return for 1/3 of what they normally go for (minus the stand and grills but for 2/3 off not a big deal since I like the grill-less look). Justice at the Attleboro store is an audiophile, so great customer service. Overall very satisfied with experience.
