    Long-distance Air travel generally provides decent to awesome entertainment programming. They, of course, provide their own headphones. And the headphone quality leaves one wanting more. Enter the Bose Airline Adapter!!! Awesome!
    The adapter allows you stereo audio. With your own headphones! This time around, I used my non-Bose headphones. What a difference in sound quality between the airline courtesy pair and my stereo headphones. Five stars for this product.
    I will try my Bose Sound Sport wired headphones on my next flight.

    The adapter works but is not built to last. A passenger brushed it with his leg and the whole adapter fell apart. I had to piece it back together and hold it in place for it to work. Get an adapter that doesn’t have seams.

    I bought this as the new Bluetooth QC headphones no longer come with it. May be needed to use with IFE.

    Not sure how many airplanes still use this type of plug for their audio, but cheap insurance that your headphones will work properly in flight.

    when you want to use your apple earphones on the plane, this adapter allows you to plug in so you don’t have to use the crappy airline supplied earphones

    Annoying I had to make a separate purchase to get my headphones working with the input on an airplane, but these sure do get the job done. Just plug the cable into this adapter and plug this into the seat (make sure it’s in there tight!) and you’ll be able to listen to your movies & music on your trip.

    Is as advertised, probable bot an absulty must for your average user but if you have ever wanted, needed, or thought about needling one then yiu should probably just pick one up and have it with your headphones.

    It is a must have for travelers. I lost the one that came with Bose headset but purchased it in Best Buy. Works well.

    Bought 2 of these for a 16hrs trip so we can use our noise canceling Bose earphones. The sounds were amazing, no drags or delays, perfect match for any Bose earphones out there. I haven’t really tried it with other brands but I’m sure the performance will be the same. This is now part of my travel pack.

    While the adapter will be handy for occasional Inflight entertainment when using my QC20s, the packaging by Best Buy was something else. Item was just tossed into an envelope with a scrap of paper giving Bose’ website address. No packing slip.

    This works fine but…charging an extra $8 for an item that was previously part of Bose pricey noise cancelling headphones is irritating. Most people buy these to use when flying so the adaptor is needed.

    Have not tried it out since covid hit. Not every aircraft model still uses this dual plug adapter, but it is inexpensive.
