I was surprised at how small the ball was, I thought it would be bigger. It was easy to open to put the batteries in, 3 AAA batteries that were included, but boy was it difficult to close properly! The trick was to line up the size of the plastic piece with the appropriate slide slot. Not intuitive. I think I will put a mark on each piece to line it up easy. I don’t like the idea of putting it up against a wall the roll your back on it..that is all I need to make black marks on my walls! I used it while laying on my back in bed and adjusting it to a few trigger points. It was a nice vibration. I would have liked a more intense vibration, but it did feel good. It definitely would be a good item to take on vacation instead of a heavy massager. Nice little item.

I love this product. It landed on my lap on a Monday when I was recovering from Sunday’s ball game. Age and on-field hops do not gel well together and in my case the lower back is always extra sad. The first thing I did on receiving the package was follow the instruction and put the ball on my lower back and then stand against the wall. I loved it so much that I spent half-an-hour watching tv while rolling the ball on my back with the wall as support. I was sold. Done. This was great. It did not make my back pain go away fully. Nor did it make my back 10 years younger (I wish), but those 30 minutes were wonderful. If you have what I have, you would know what I am talking about.
Alright, the set-up is easy. Please follow the exercise instructions. There are certain postures and positions you need to follow. Just rolling the ball up and down your body while you sit on your couch and watch TV may not help. You can use it on your chest, the shoulders, the thighs and bottoms, and the calf. Maybe, you can experiment and find other sad parts that need some love but the manual is limited to the above only.
Highly recommended at this price point. Good work, Beurer. Love you guys.

The ball was smaller than I thought it would be. It is a little bigger than a baseball, maybe like the average size of an orange. I was surprised to find it used three AAA batteries rather than a built in rechargeable battery. For a motorized massager, I always prefer a rechargeable battery. We will see how long the batteries last and how often I will need to replace them.
The ball vibrates at two speeds and it does a nice job of being effective. I placed it on the wall and used it to work on some sore spots on my back. I liked how the vibrating feature enhanced the textured ball from working the tight spot. I then placed it on the floor and used it to massage my foot. It felt great. Other than that there is not much more to this device.
I do recommend it since it is very effective and does the job. I just wish it had a built in battery.

Fairly simple product in concept. At first blush, I suspect a large number of people will pass right by. It’s small enough to simply turn on and place behind your back when you seated in a chair or maybe lying down the floor or a bed, and hit those trouble spots… so in that respect it’s pretty effective. And for those who don’t like holding their arm up for extended periods of time, using a larger massage wand type of device, the Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball is very ‘handy’ for even pin-point focused shoulder or limb targets.
Overall, I would say this massage appliance is worth the money spent but it’s not very feature-filled or fancy. The grip is good, the construction is about average and the vibration strength is good.
I give it a ‘recommendation’ based purely on it’s unique use case.
I will note that it can be a bit frustrating putting it back together after you separate the two halves to access the battery compartment.

The Beurer Vibrating Massager Ball is very portable, approximately the size of a baseball.
It has a hard rubber coat with nubs. There is a single power button at the top. One click for max power, the second click for lower power, and the third click turns it off. It uses 3 AAA batteries which can be accessed by turning the top and bottom in opposite directions.
You can use this by rolling it along your muscles with your hands. However, the instruction booklet guides you to use the floor, wall or other hard surface to lean against while moving back and forth. I found that method to be far more effective. When I used my hands I really didn’t feel much of the vibration. But when I leaned against a wall or sat in a chair and used the massage ball on my back it was extremely effective. In fact I had to turn it down to the lower speed. I have an expensive impact massager which is much more powerful than this, but I can’t get to the knots in my back by my shoulder blades. This device however, gets right to that spot and it’s effective. Of course you can also use it
on arms, legs hips, etc.
In summary, this is a great device at a great price. It serves it’s intended purpose as a portable massager. Don’t expect it to take the place of an impact massager in but it is a great addition to one.
hahanson –
Easy to use and allows you to get to places where a handheld massager may not, like the area inside the shoulder blades. Just lean against a wall and place the ball between you and the wall. Two vibration speeds are available, and one button controls on/off and vibration speed.
Build quality appears solid. The ball twists apart to access the battery tray, which takes 3 AAA batteries. The only disappointment was that it used batteries — a lithium battery and USB charging port would’ve been nice.

The Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball is small, but definitely packs a punch. When I first received the massaging ball, I thought that it wasn’t going to be enough to get a bit of relief in tense areas around my body. Well, needless to say I was very wrong. I tried the Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball in a few different areas on my upper back and thing area and was really impressed at how it helped with the tense areas. It’s so easy to use. It’s like using a roller, but so much smaller. Its size is great for smaller areas that need massaging.
One thing that I really hope they change for future iterations is to make it rechargeable. Currently, the Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball uses three AAA batteries (twist and pull upwards). I really would like to have the ability to recharge and save the extra expense of having to buy batteries so often. This is the reason for my rating of the product.
Aside from the battery issue, I truly enjoy using the Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
ZachC –
Out of the box after you install the alkaline batteries, it was a fight for everyone in the family to get to use it! Easy to operate with 2 intensities. Endless possibilities with how you can use this and its great for recovery and aches and pains. Highly recommend adding this into your post exercise routine. Paired with a foam roller, its perfect! I also like the size vs something larger so its much easier to pack or travel with to events. The outer texture adds another dimension and works in conjunction with the vibrations.
johnk2032 –
Overall I’m happy with the Beurer Massage Ball.
What you see is what you get, the ball is about the size or a baseball and made out of firm rubber with the rows of raised nubs. The ball unscrews into twos halves to insert the 3 AAA batteries. Then there is a green power switch to turn it on/off and select the high or low vibration settings.
Like many, I spend most of my day sitting at a desk. I’m in my early 60’s and when I get up, often my hips/thighs are tight. Using the ball seems to help with this. One note: while rolling it under your hips or thighs, with much of your weight on it, it will occasionally rotate to where the power switch is either against your body or the floor and will turn off. That has not happened when using it on my calves or shoulders. Maybe recessing the switch slightly would have prevented this.
I’ve been using a plain foam roller tube and this Beurer vibrating ball is a nice addition my routine.
BillK –
In theory, this device is a great concept at a reasonable price. It has two vibrating speeds and is very portable. However, depending on the intensity of pain you have, it may not do the trick. For minor tightness, I am sure it works well. I have chronic upper back tightness and pain and this device just doesn’t get deep enough to have an affect. The vibration, at high level, doesn’t det deep enough. Keep that in mind as it may not suffice for more intense pain. Jury is out as this device will totally depend on the expectations from person to person.
msumulong –
Massagers come in all forms and sizes. The Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball is one such massager. But the beauty of this massager is that it is both portable and as already described vibrating. Looking like a futuristic detonating device seen in sci-fi action movies, the shape alone an when used with pressure is already providing a soothing relief. Add to those two levels of vibrations (powered by AAA batteries) make a perfect little device you can bring anywhere for you to sooth those aching muscles. Not much more can be said except that it gives a good massage in a handy little package. This is definitely worth purchasing.
Rbeck –
I love this vibrating ball. I can use this to massage by sore muscles after a long day at work. I can also use this to help my tired and aching feet too put it on vibrate and roll it between your feet. I have been looking for something like this a long time and have tried many but this is the best
Wiscontech –
If you’ve used pressure point items, such as balls and rollers, this will be very similar. It has a good size and firmness to it and works to help relieve muscle aches. It also has the added benefit of vibrating, but I found the motor to be generally under powered for the application. Also having only two speed settings really didn’t leave much for customization of the speed. All in all, it works, but I don’t know if the vibrating justifies the extra cost.
Side note: It does take a lot of work to separate the halves. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. Also, the sides only go together one way as the notches are not the same size inside. On the outside are tiny triangles to match up and I really wish they would have made them a different color or added some markings to the white plastic inside.

The Beurer Massage Ball is pretty good for what it is. It is a pretty compact massager that is about the size of a baseball. It uses a few AAA batteries to operate.
I think it is useful for minor muscle aches, but I wouldn’t compare it to one of the more expensive high powered devices. I would recommend putting it directly on your skin, because it looses a lot of sensation through clothes.
InspectorGadget –
It’s about what you would expect, maybe a little better. Pretty simple, has two speeds, press the power button once for low, twice for high. Uses 3 AAA batteries (included) but not rechargeable unless you have rechargeable batteries to use with it. Seems pretty sturdy so it should last awhile.
I tried it on my back, hips, shoulders, and neck and it did work well for all. Has a pleasant numbing effect which relieves pain from workouts or just working around the yard. I use it on the floor which seems to give the best relief for me. You can also use it against a wall or just hold it in your hand but handheld is less effective (still works though).
Small so it’s easy to carry with you, about baseball size.

I’m not really sure what I was expecting from this, but I was expecting more than what this delivers. First complaint is that it’s not rechargeable. That would have probably increased the price, but I don’t like having to replace dead batteries in small devices. Yes, you could probably use rechargeable AAAs rather than disposable batteries, but you’ve still got to open the thing up and swap out batteries rather than just plugging in a cable. Second, it’s not that useful as a handheld device. It works best when you wedge it between whatever muscle you’re trying to massage and a hard surface and then roll around on top of it. So, good enough for calves, but not really useful for pecs or biceps. Sort of OK to put behind your neck/shoulders when sitting in a high-backed chair, but I managed to accidentally depress the power/speed button that way. The vibrations are not really that strong, so I’m not convinced you get a lot more out of this than just a hard rubber massage ball, but maybe there’s a small advantage here. The only real use-case scenarios I see for this is to take it on travel when you don’t want to lug around a big percussion massage gun.
JKinSYR –
This is a great little ball to keep with you on the go or nearby at an office work location for example. It takes a total of 3 AAA batteries and it operates simply with the push of a button. There are 2 settings for vibrating with a high and a low setting. The massage ball can provide relief even without being turned on. I like to use this on my neck and back especially. I will either place the massage ball between myself and the wall and try to hit some trigger points on sore shoulder or back muscles. I also like to place the vibrating massage ball on the ground so I can rest on top of it with my hamstrings or with my neck for some relief after sitting at a desk all day.
The ball is compact and light, and is about the size of a tennis ball. It has a soft rubberized texture and some raised bumps on it to help provide relief for sore muscles and such. Great for athletes to pack with you to take to your sporting event. Also great for business travelers that want to take it on trips for aching muscles. Easy investment in your health. My favorite way to use it has been to get foot relief as I place it on the floor and roll my foot around on it. Enjoy.

I’ve been using the Beurer Vibrating Massage Ball for almost a week now and I have used it enough to provide my review. Everything about this massage ball is small, including the packaging. The provided instructions are simple and easy to read. I appreciate they included the necessary batteries. It is smaller than a softball, but slightly larger than a baseball. Its’ small form makes it easy to use anywhere on the body. It’s easy to hold in your hand, and I have small hands. The exterior feels soft, but sturdy. I actually like the feel of it. I am able to lay my entire body on the ball and not worry about breaking it. It makes it that much easier to use on the floor, up against a wall or sitting in a chair. Just the pressure of my body weight pressed up against the massage ball relieves some tension in sore areas, adding the vibration provides some sensation. It has two speed levels.
I do not think this can relieve serious pain, but it can work for minor aches. My 95 year old mother likes the way it feels. But even she prefers the higher intensity speed. I only actually feel the higher spreed works best, but I wish it was even more intense. I believe the idea of the vibrating massage ball is good, but this ball doesn’t provide enough to move the needle for me; even at its current price point. The vibrating massage ball is so small that I wish it came with a small carry bag to store it when not in use. Although the makers included batteries with the massage ball, I wish the included batteries were rechargeable, or better yet, the massage ball contained a recharging lithium battery. I also wish there was a design change and somehow the power button didn’t turn off while I am using it because it rolls with my body. Overall, this vibrating massage ball is a decent start and may be good for beginners with minor aches, but it may to be as effective for deep muscle relief.

Beurer – Vibrating Massage Ball – Black
Pretty nice when relaxing to work out those knots…
OK pretty obvious this is not a “therapeutic-grade” massager or an impact device… hey it’s a little knobby baseball that vibrates, so don’t expect a Swedish Massage… LOL. With that said, this is a sweet little “knot relaxer” that is easy to use when relaxing after a hot shower or treating your feet when binge-watching once you have met your calorie burning activities for the day.
The ball has “high/low” push-button settings, and you also get good wrist exercise when you twist the ball open to put in or replace the batteries. I was hoping this would be a good “chair buddy” when settling down for the evening and using the ball for sore spots or muscle knots. That seems to work sort of OK, but if you look at the recommended use methods you see that the ball works best when placing the ball in a sore spot and pushing back against a hard surface like a wall or the floor. Think of a bear scratching it’s back by rubbing up against a tree and you will get the idea. Holding the ball in my hand and pushing it up against a sore spot gives some relief, but my hand gets half the energy and my back, shoulder, leg gets the other half. Best results are using a hard surface to make the ball “push in” to get most of the energy into your muscle tissues. For soothing sore feet, rolling the ball between my feet and the floor while binge watching “Ted Lasso” gives good results.
There is always something “better” that costs more, so it would be nice to have a rechargeable battery built in, but you get what you get and picking a little kit with rechargeable batteries is a workable solution for replacing the batteries. Can’t speak about the battery life yet – and that will depend on which setting is used, but I have used the ball for several hours spread out over a few days and seems to be OK so far.
Maybe on a funny note, the cats seem to find this device very interesting – so I guess that is a “bonus feature” as long as you don’t let the dog get ahold of it as a chewy toy. DON’T leave this sitting around if you have a dog – that’s another story and I’m glad we saw the dog pick it up and got it back before finding out where that situation was going to go…
To sum it up… a nice little device that comes in handy if you have the need – but consider this a “light use” device for “light use” needs. Definitely one of those “impulse” purchases as the price is nice and low, and with the holiday season coming up I think this would be a great “stocking stuffer” or “party present” for holiday giving.
Greetings and Stay Safe from Central Georgia!

I picked this up because i have constant tightness in my lower back and also hip pain. I figured this might help. It is good for helping with my issues I mentioned. The ball unscrews into two halves and you insert the included batteries. Screw it back together and push the power button. There are 2 speeds, low and high.
I followed the instructions in the included booklet, which shows you different ways to use the ball. I worked on my calf muscles and lower back. This does work and does help after a few sessions.
The reason why I took a star off is because they way you use the ball rolling it around under your body, you tend to hit the power button constantly which can cause power intermittence and pause the workout. Can be a bit frustrating. If the power button was re-worked or located in a different location this would be great.
Still would recommend.

The Beurer Vibrating Massaging Ball has a usefulness that cannot be easily dismissed. My standards are high, and I have to acknowledge I’m in the more extreme zone. I play highly competitive softball 3-4 times a week, run 10-20 miles, run trails 6-12 and hike another 15. I tear up my body.
I use a many products for prep and recovery. I like this product because it’s small and has a couple of satisfying vibration settings to complement the textured exterior that works the muscles and tendons.
What I found underwhelming was the level of intensity. I need more, but I think the average athlete will find both the texture and vibrational intensity more than adequate.

I work hard at my job and often find myself coming home with back aches and other nagging pains. I’ve tried massage tools before with mixed results, the best ones tend to be large and bulky. I was excited to get to try the Beurer MG-10 massage ball due to the small size and two speeds plus the interesting texture surrounding the ball. The box included the ball, instructions, pretty standard basic packaging, and works by utilizing the floor, wall, etc. to press your muscle groups against the ball while it’s vibrating. I tried with my lower back first, standing against the bedroom wall with the ball positioned first between my shoulder blades where it hurt. The ball is about the size of a baseball and the rubber “coating” on the outside is firm but soft when you hold it in your hand but I found it hard to apply enough pressure to vibrate the muscles without making it uncomfortable to lean into. I tried lower back next and again the angle to massage the muscles made it hard to get the right amount of pressure onto the ball. I decided to go “off the script” and tried just holding the ball and pressing it where I needed the massage, which made it easier to get the angle and pressure right but I never got that satisfied “massage” feel when I was done. It seemed like the small size mixed with the round shape and plentiful bumps/ridges just didn’t soothe the aches like I’d hoped or like I’d gotten from other similar products in the past. A lot of this could just be personal preference but I find that softer materials make it more comfortable to lean or press into the muscles whereas the MG-10 was just too hard and bumpy to get a comfortable pressure with. I will say that having a low speed and a high speed was a better feature than having a handful of speeds or vibrating patterns which end up being unnecessary, so points for simplicity!
I’m mixed to negative on this one, but once more it could be preference. Having a simple single button on switch that goes high-low-off is easy and refreshing over fancy yet unnecessary multi-speeds like others. The small size makes it very transportable in a purse, gym bag, or just to set on your dresser or night stand but this could also be a negative as it really digs into you when you lay on it. I suggest if you have a chance to get your hands on the MG-10 to feel it out to see if you’d be comfortable leaning or laying on it, determine if the pattern of bumps is something you’d want to press into your muscles, and if the speed settings are adequate to meet your needs that’s probably the best way to know for sure. If you aren’t able to see one in person first I would suggest a pass on this product, I think there are too many variables that different people and different massage needs would depend on to be a good buy.

I live on a ranch and the Vibrating Massage Ball helps me quickly work out the soreness and stiffness. It’s a convenient size, about the size of a tennis ball, and I can carry with me in my utility vehicle. This allows me to receive therapy while out in the field or sitting on the couch.
I have used the ball for two weeks and am pleased to have this. I have had much larger ‘massage’ devices before, but I really like the smaller form factor of this one.
PretzelGuy –
We’ve all had back pain or a muscle that requires us to lay on our backs on a tennis ball and try to work out knots. This product is basically just a tennis ball that vibrates. There’s 2 settings and to be honest there’s not much of a difference between them as one is slightly lower in power than the other, barely. Per the instructions, I tried using it on a wall and floor and didn’t really get much relief. I can’t really recommend a product that doesn’t really get the job done. I’d suggest using a tennis ball or golf ball instead.
TechDude –
Easy to use and very effective at treating sore, aching muscles. Two speeds helps you find the right intensity for your specific need.
GadgetGuy1981 –
The ball is my new go-to for lighter massage and smaller area coverage. It provides a good medium vibration and is just small enough to work just about anywhere and be used well in the hand.
The battery access is quite simple also – The ball “twists” and then can be opened in half and the batteries are able to be changed from the center of the device.
The ball holds together well, and seems made of VERY durable material, but I’ve not tested its water/moisture resistance. With the device able to be fully opened, I would be wary of using excessive oils or water-based lubricants on the device, as the seal doesn’t seem to be totally fluid-tight.
This is a great massager for the cost, that seems to be well constructed of durable materials. I’d highly recommend.
Poocher917 –
The Beurer Vibrating Massage Ball (MG10) is an inexpensive option to treat you sore muscles. There are more expensive options out there but this is small, portable and effective.
The small box contains the vibrating massage ball, batteries (3 AAA) and instructions.
You twist the massage ball apart counterclockwise to install the batteries. The obvious green button is used to turn it on; adjust the speed; and, turn it off. It is recommended to have a hard surface between the area to be treated and the massage ball. The ball itself is pretty hard and has two different sized nodes.
I found it to be effective for my hamstring (using the floor) and upper back (using a wall). It is not always easy to keep the ball exactly where you want it.
I recommend this device and rate it 4 out of five stars. For the price and quality workmanship, you will not be disappointed.
PhilGA –
The vibrating massage ball is a pretty simple ball that, simply put, comes with one button that allows it to vibrate at two speeds.
It’s well-constructed and batteries (included) are simple to insert.
Interestingly enough, because it moves as it vibrates, trying to use it up against a wall would not be advised — sometimes simply holding it in place around the shoulder area provided the best massage experience for me.
Overall, I highly recommend this device for simple massage requirements.
SCAntonio –
If you pick this up and think it will do all that a $250 percussion massager will do, then you may be disappointed. if you grab it as a very simple, portable and uncomplicated option to work on target areas as needed- I’m not sure how you can go wrong!
It caught my eye given a couple bouts of plantar fasciitis. I’ve always found rolling my foot over a ball to be quite effective- add some vibration- POW! For targeted leg & back massage, experimenting with the ball using the enclosed notes leads me to believe that will work well as well.
Freddy –
This massage ball does magic. I can’t massage my back with a massage gun but with this I can all on my own. You will definitely use this to loosen those stiff spots. There is a little learning curve but it’s not hard to properly use it.
KriswithaK –
Very firm with strong vibrations. Also comes with batteries

Great massager, nice to have this at work and get a massage. Can pinpoint knots in my back using it between mommy chair and myself.

Works great! Works as expected. Like how I can roll against my foot.

I was not expecting much since the price was good. Exceeded expectation but will not give you deep massage, takes a while to get some effects. Only negative was brand new batteries that came with product was completely dead.
LLSR –
Smaller than I thought, powerful vibration, didn’t really work for the part of my back I was hoping to get to.

I love this ball it works wonders, feels great!!!!

Nt very useful. The vibrations are very weak. You can’t feel much.
ITbyPD –
Good massage movement, quite hard exterior. In summary, bought it for grown daughter (a dancer), but she only used it once.
NANNEK –
Perfect little trigger point massager…definitely worth the price
AngelTheGeek –
Great message ball for the price. At first I was a little scared being as small as it was. But the bulges and rolling of the ball make it all worth it. I do wish it could have charged instead of AAA batteries but it’s still definitely worth it. Easy to keep in pocket too. So it’s actually with me at all times. Even use it at work when I want a quick and easy message. Well worth the price. Like I originally said, I only gave 4 stars because it requires 3 AAA batteries. Otherwise no faults at all.
cam123 –
Bought this for son that likes to use wall and ball, and this one vibrates which is pretty good.

The muscles between my shoulder blades are always tight and sore. This vibrating ball feels great and relieves some of the soreness. I use the raised textured surface to press deeper. It even came with batteries so I didn’t have to buy them. Love it!

So aside from looking like a thermal detonator from Return of the Jedi, this little massage ball is worth the reasonable price. Aside from using it to massage back or feet (as show in directions), I use it to ease aches in my hands. Nice little device.
