The Beurer Illuminated Cosmetics Mirror is a great mirror with much more to it than meets the eye.
The quality and build of the mirror is nothing special, it’s basically just plastic and glass, with a magnetic holder on the back. That’s not to say it’s a bad mirror though. The mirror takes 3 AA batteries, so no need to worry about plugging any cord in. There’s a power switch on the back, as well a magnetic hole, this is where the smaller 5x magnified mirror stores.
The front of the mirror has a nice cool white LED light circled around the edge of the mirror. Then there is a small little circle towards the bottom of the front mirror, this is the touch sensitive power button. This also works as a dimmer if you press and hold your finger on the button, then release when you reach the desired light. The smaller 5x magnified mirror can be placed on the front of the glass to give you a better detailed look at yourself. Lastly the bottom of the stand acts as a nice compartment tray for smaller items such as jewelry.
Overall, I like the concept Beurer Illuminated Mirror, my wife loves it to apply her makeup and store her jewelry. I love how you can fold the mirror down to make it easy to store out of the way. The LED light is great, it gets really bright and with the ability to dim it, it becomes the perfect source of light. The 5x magnified mirror that attaches, is a great add on that really comes in handy. Now my only complaints about the mirror, is the placement of the button on the bottom…While it’s a cool idea to have the touch sensitive button on the front of the mirror, the outcome isn’t ideal. This causes your mirror to constantly have a smudgy fingerprint on the bottom of it, especially if you need to dim it. I wish the company would have placed the power and dimmer on the outer frame of the mirror, as to not get it dirty every time you go to turn it on. Other than that, I think it’s a great mirror.

The magnifying mirror attaches magnetically to the main mirror and holds strong, however the magnification is 5x – wish there was a 10x option for those of us who’s eyes aren’t that great anymore.
Makeup-tray in the base is a great touch.
Nice portable unit that is lightweight enough to take with you!

Got this for my wife and she’s been using it for an hour already!! Runs on 3 AA batteries (included) and very simple to set up.
The light is exceptionally bright but she loves how it highlights her face for doing her makeup, skin care routine and in her case, getting her earrings on with one try.
The 5x mirror attaches anywhere to big mirror via magnets which she tells me is very helpful when setting it up to attain the right amount of light (especially when doing her makeup). A nice touch is the storage tray and the bottom that doubles as a base. Holds her earrings, rings and Apple Watch with ease plus the raised edges of the tray keep everything in there.
She’s ecstatic and I scored some major bonus points…worth it!!!

Received my mirror, nice and securely packaged with excellent instructions. Extremely easy to assemble – just put the mirror section into the base by turning counterclockwise and it’s together. There is also a great round storage tray area below the stem for your small items, if desired to use that way. Very impressive looking and 3 AAA batteries are included.
On the reverse side you will find a small round 5x magnification mirror which also is magnetic for convenience. You simply lift if off the back (it has a recessed area to keep it in) and place on the front. Attaches immediately and stays securely on. When you are done detach it and place back in the area on reverse side. Love this feature!
The lighting is wonderful. It can be bright or if you hold your finger on the round circle touch sensor on bottom front of mirror it will dim to your liking. Plus the coloring makes your skin look amazing! Another feature I really love. There is an off and on switch on the reverse side as well to conserve battery life. Just remember to turn it off when you are done using.
This is superb for applying your makeup or if you have something in your eye and want to get a better view. It’s also wonderful for traveling. No need to worry about electricity. I wasn’t sure I’d like just a battery operated device but I really do. So easy to transport anywhere you choose.

Picked this mirror up for my wife, and she has used it the last week.
Pros:
– Very portable, uses batteries instead of plugging in. Great for taking on trips.
– Fantastic standard mirror with lighting.
– Dimmer function
– Light automatically switches off after a period of time, saving batteries.
Cons:
– Needs batteries.
– The separate magnifier is not lit.
– The storage tray ends up collecting make up spatter
My wife really likes this mirror, but the separate magnifiying mirror is not lit, something that she really needs in a make up mirror. She currently uses a different brand mirror that has a lit mirror on one side, and can be flipped to the other side, which has a lit 5X magnifier (that is the same size as the standard mirror). The Beurer does not have this option, instead it has a smaller, detachable magnifier.
The Beurer lit mirror requires batteries and has a small footprint which makes it extremely portable, and my wife plans on using it when we go on trips. As an everyday makeup mirror, it doesn’t quite meet her requirements.

The Beurer vanity mirror is perfect for those that are looking for an illuminated mirror.
The mirror is big enough to see your entire face without having to move and contort your head. The light is extremely bright, not too bright to hurt your eyes. But bright enough to apply your makeup, pluck those hairs before they become an issue. Should you not need it very bright, just touch and hold the button on the screen to dim it to your liking.
The design is very good. It includes a smaller mirror that has 5X magnification to see things you may have missed with the larger mirror. The 5X can be hidden behind the larger mirror via a large magnet holder in the rear. This magnet is also used to attach the smaller mirror to the front. You can place the 5X anywhere on the front for a good solid hold or remove it and handhold it. The tray is great for tweezers, jewelry, you name it.
The only issue I see with the mirror is the 5X. Although good for close-ups I would have preferred it be more like 10X because sometimes 5X isn’t enough.
The mirror base is not height adjustable only swivel in different directions, once it is set that’s it. These are not game-changers though.
The small footprint of the mirror makes this ideal for the bathroom counter, end table by the bed, or handheld.

I have to admit that I had never heard of the Beurer brand before, but after doing a little research I found out that it’s a German brand since 1919. They have a variety of products, beauty, medical, sports etc. With good reviews of their products. This cosmetic mirror, which has a very affordable price has a nice style and a some cool features that I really like if you compare to other mirrors that are more expensive. To assemble it is very easy, just snap the mirror support into the base, make sure to twisted to the left so it will lock properly. The base is shaped like a tray so you can put your personal cosmetics items while you make up. Then you install the 3 included Batteries in the Battery compartment located at the back of the main mirror. After the batteries are installed you can move the switch that is located at the back to “on” position and if you want you can put the small 5x magnetic magnifying mirror to the back where it is going to hold firmly. You can also put it in the front on the main mirror when you want to use it which is going to grab magnetically as well. This is one of the cool features that I found out very useful and clever design. Another one is the led ring light, that you can turn it on by touching the light button located at the front. And you can adjust the brightness of the light by pressing and holding the same button. The main mirror can be swiveled because it is mounted on a ball joint base.
The light is white and very bright, very convenient while using the 5x magnifying mirror and it will power off automatically after 15 min to save batteries. I was surprised how firmly it attached to the front mirror by the magnet. The device is very light weight and the way it can be dismounted making it great for taking on trips.
Very easy, clever and affordable device that my daughter loves it!

It has a large standard magnification mirror, plus also a half size 5x magnification mirror. The 5x mirror has a magnetic storage location on the back, Or if you want to use it. you can place it on the bigger mirror and it stays in place via magnets. What are the batteries for? WELL it has LED ring light around the mirror that lights up what you need to have tweezed or plucked and is controlled by a touch screen button on the big mirror.
Overall, the Beurer – Illuminated Cosmetics Mirror is about all that anyone could ask for in an illuminated cosmetic mirror. The Beurer – Illuminated Cosmetics Mirror has earned a place on the bathroom counter and replaces a non illuminated cosmetic mirror.

The Beurer – Illuminated Cosmetics Mirror is awesome like the title says. I really like the design of this illuminated mirror. It has a round illuminated mirror with a touch on/off switch on the mirror glass itself. It also has a small x5 magnification mirror that snaps flush into the back off the mirror that you can attach magnetically to the center of the mirror itself which is pretty cool. The mirror is really clear and the x5 magnifying mirror can really get up close and see all those pores. It’s a great piece to have in the restroom and the light is bright also without hurting your eyes.

This mirror should have good appeal to most people. It is easy to set up, has great magnification and is aesthetically pleasing.
Setup takes less than two minutes and is mostly self explanatory. It comes with everything, including batteries.
The mirror will allow you to easily see pores, any part of your face and has great lighting. The battery compartment is somewhat difficult to reach and feels slightly cheap but the rest of the mirror has a quality feel to it with a sturdy build.
The mirror is prone to smudges and fingerprints so a microfiber cloth is useful to keep nearby as needed.

My wife and I have always been looking for a cosmetics mirror for use: her with makeup and I for plucking ingrain hairs on my chin. We were really impressed with what Beurer had to offer with this lighted cosmetic mirror. After a week, here are our thoughts:
Really simple set up and operations out of the box. The mirror connects to a stand and base. The connection joint on the mirror to stand allows for 360 degree movement in any direction. The mirror is powered by AA batteries x3. No need for any plugs.
Powering it on gives a nice light ring that is bright. The light temp can be adjusted by simply pressing and holding onto that power button where it will begin to dim.
Behind the mirror comes a smaller hand held 5x magnifying mirror that magnetically attaches to a slot. This is nice for my wife to use for more detail for her makeup application.
The base also serves as a storage spot for whatever you need at the moment without risk of them falling off a table.
Overall, nice little addition to our daily use.

Mirror is small enough for travel or home use. There is a built-in light ring surrounding the main mirror. It is powered by three – AA batteries, which are included. BONUS and very high tech addition is a magnetic smaller 4” mirror that adheres to the back of the mirror when not in use. Then when you want 5x magnification you pull it off the back and it will “stick” magnetically to the front mirror. GENIUS design.
Setup is a breeze. It comes in two pieces, the base and the mirror. Once attached and the batteries are installed you are ready to go. There is a master power switch in the back. Once this is on, the fun begins. The mirror is touch sensitive. So touching the main mirror you can adjust the levels or brightness for the light around the main mirror. My kids love touching it and watching the lights adjust intensity.
The base of the mirror has curved edges, so you can place things like rings or glasses or makeup, and it will not roll out away. Everything remains right in reach.
Perfect for home use and love that it is small enough to take on travels as well.

Great mirror, I love it that its very bright, no more looking at the mirror in the dark! Very well packaged and they include 3 AA batteries (it uses batteries, no fighting with cables on the way). The batteries go on the back and there is power switch on the back (to avoid accidental activation of the light). The light itself is activated by just touching a little circle on the front of the mirror. They also include a nice magnifying mirror that attaches on top of the main mirror via magnets, if not using it, you can store it on the back. I also love the bottom tray, where you can keep any cosmetics handy. The mirror itself is attached to the base by a rod, which has like a ball joint, so you can adjust the position and height of the mirror to your liking, love it! HIghly recommend it, its so easy to use and you can customize it to your liking!

Great quality mirror with some nice features. The led light ring going around the mirror is nice and bright, while at the same time designed in a way that doesn’t blind you or interfere with your view.
And yes this is only a one-sided regular mirror, but it does have a small magnifying mirror stored on the back side. It’s a genius design though because this little mirror is magnetic and sticks right onto the main mirror right in the center, allowing it to be used hands-free and getting the benefit of the light ring. It also has a small handle built into it so you can hold it easily on its own, or use it with the main mirror to see the back of your head! It’s actually really handy!
Then there’s the base which is both good and bad. The good is that it’s bowl shaped so you have a place to put jewelry and anything else that you might need to set down. The bad is that there’s no weight to it at all. That makes this mirror a bit top heavy and easy to knock over. But at the same time, it’s lighter and easier to hold in those situations where bringing it up to your face is better than leaning further in. So it’s a trade-off.
Overall there’s not much bad to say about this mirror. It does what it’s supposed to, the light is bright, and it’s pretty versatile. You really can’t go wrong with this mirror.

This cosmetics mirror is wonderful! A lot of thought went into what would make this a complete mirror and it shows! Set up was easy, and it came with batteries, even better! Rotating the mirror is easy and it stays where you want it. The light ring is really bright and extremely helpful. The thought behind the magnified mirror is wonderful! It is magnetic and fits in the back effortlessly, then you can take it out and it magnetically sits in the middle of the large mirror – perfect! Lastly, the base is a curved tray, so smart! We all need an extra tray to store our little things! Highly recommend this thoughtful cosmetics mirror.

This is a nicely designed mirror that is very stable despite being made of plastic and very lightweight. It is easily put together by putting two pieces together and then turning to lock into place. The mirrors are clear and not warped.
It takes batteries that are included in the box. There is a toggle switch on the back to provide power and then the light is controlled with a button on the front. Brightness can also be controlled by holding the button on the front. It works well, is easy to use and provides a nice even light.
The magnified mirror locks into an invention behind the mirror if you don’t want to use it. I find that I only want to use the magnification mirror, so I keep it attached to the front. It magnetically stays in place and is very solid.
I like the tray at the bottom too, allowing you to keep your counter area less cluttered.

The little mirror is also magnetic so you can remove it and place it on the back for safe keeping. The base has a tray so you can keep all your small items nearby. Really like this mirror. Simple, but extremely helpful.

The local cosmetics expert in my domicile rather likes this mirror. The battery-powered ring light ( AA x 3 ) works well, and it’s lightweight. This makes it semi-portable, which has several advantages. The glass is clear and adequate and the removable second mirror is handy with its magnet that can mounted on various other things.
The downside is that the base is very light and the friction ball joint is pretty stiff, so adjusting the mirror angle is not a simple one-handed affair. This also makes it very top-heavy, so I can see it being easy to accidentally tip over. The base is meant to be a storage tray, and the added weight of some brushes, sponges, and cosmetics would help, but it still could be better. And though the second mirror being removable can be handy, my spouse does wish it could flip around to a full-size back mirror.
Finally, she doesn’t love the power switch. There’s a physical on/off switch on the back, but there’s a second touch-sensitive button on the front. I don’t know if that’s meant to prevent accidental power on in travel ( hard power off so the front sensor isn’t bumped while in a bag? ) but it’s an odd design choice.
Overall, it’s not a professional beauty mirror, but it certainly isn’t priced like one either. For a very usable and affordable magnifying mirror, with its own light, this is a very good option.

There is so many things that are just RIGHT about this mirror.
First and foremost, it’s battery-powered. It might sound weird but honestly, when you have other devices like an electric toothbrush, electric shaver, hairdryer, etc… you start to feel cluttered by all the wires. So its a HUGE PRO that you do not need to worry about that with this mirror.
The clarity and magnification of the mirror are ideal for personal care like grooming, make-up and styling. The magnetic magnifier is awesome because you can hold it easily in your hand and move around freely to see yourself in different lights or positions.
I have to admit, I find myself using this smaller mirror more than my wall mirror. The magnification might feel weird or disorienting at first, I find it easier to use the magnifier piece separately the first few times.. However, the biggest benefit of this mirror is the lighting lamp attached to the outer border. So make sure you adjust quickly!

I have purchased 4 lighted mirrors over the past couple years in search of the perfect one. So happy I’ve finally found it! The detachable magnifying mirror is probably my favorite part – you can use the magnets to stick it to the back of the mirror out of the way, or stick it in the middle of the front and use the illumination to see every detail. The lights are bright but provide a crisp, clear reflection, and they show the true color of any products being applied. The button to tap on the front lets you turn the lights on and off easily, but if you have kids that are fascinated with tapping the button over and over you can use the switch on the back to keep from wasting the batteries. I absolutely love the base tray to put brushes, lash glue and other products that I don’t want rolling off the counter. I cannot recommend this enough – if you desire a lighted mirror with magnifying capabilities run out and get this one, quick!

This is a good little vanity mirror. I really enjoy the lighting it gives off. You can adjust it simply by pressing and holding down on the circle on the front. The 5X magnification mirror can stick to the center of the mirror magnetically, as well as stick to the back for storage purposes. This is a great option for a portable mirror because it’s so lightweight and runs on three AA batteries. I also like that the base is a bowl shape so that I’m able to store things and not have them roll away when I need them. Overall I think this is a great little vanity mirror.

The Beurer’s Illuminated 5x Vanity Mirror is a lightweight and LED mirror. Its lightweight however I would not use it for travel because most hotels have mirrors that are better and brighter to use. The overall design is nice, but the overall size and size of the magnified area is what needs to be improved. Because of this I have to adjust either me or the mirror to focus in on what i want magnified. The light is not as bright unless you are using it with additional overhead light. Overall, would not recommend unless you are looking for a mirror that has these features.

I love this thing. I love it so much. My ex girlfriend had a light up magnifying mirror similar to this and when we broke up I was so sad. Doing makeup or my eyebrows just wasn’t the same. I searched and searched and not only are these types of mirrors generally hard to find, but most of them have terrible LED lights when they are battery powered.
Not this. Super powerful light, but not so much you’re blinded or anything. The batteries have lasted me since I got it and I use it daily for about 30 minutes so it has some decent battery life to it. I can’t vouch for how long the lights stay as good as they are, but so far I am really happy with my purchase.

My 1st mirror arrived damaged (prongs for battery connection were bent) returned at the store, rep was extremely helpful, ordered a replacement for me, 2nd one arrived quickly and undamaged. I love the extra magnification and the fact that this has no cords to mess with, its very sturdy , but lightweight.
The only negative is, it makes an annoying humming noise if you dim the lighting.
