    I bought two of these, to build a DIY multi-ISP load balance/failover internet gateway for my home LAN.
    Using an OpenWrt (22.0.3) image for the RasPi 4. The kernel recognized the USB dongle (Realtek). I was able to configure the 2 LAN ports from these dongles to connect with (a) Cox cable and (b) T Mobile 5G home internet service providers.

    Load balancing/failover and auto-recovery work like a charm for my internet usage.

    My internet connection occasionally disconnects/reconnects when using this adapter. Also, when I first wake up the PC the adapter is often unrecognized, and I have to unplug it/plug it back in. It uses built-in Windows drivers (I’m on Win11) so I can’t update the driver. I’ve tried through device manager and windows update, no updated drivers are found.

    Somehow, my ethernet cable was hampering with my other ports (or vice versa) and my connect would disrupt frequently. This solved it! Speed improved just a tad bit

    GREAT DEVICE!!! This is my second purchase, 1st one was for a faulty laptop cable connector jack worked fine. This second purchase was for a faulty USB connector on the same laptop. Unable to connect a new Brother Printer same success printer worked great to! Both are Plug & Play EZ install. Saved me the cost of a new laptop thanks BEST BUY! They are the GO TO ELECTRONICS STORE in North Texas great techs & great service desk!

    Due to the way the modem works in our house, we got one of these to try mainlining from the modem to the laptop instead of wifi. It is a lifesaver! Great value for this item and it has been wonderful. Boosted our signal and helped with our random disconnects. A++

    I bought this since I have a DSL modem to Ethernet connector and newer laptops/Chrombooks don’t have a standard Ethernet Port. So I bought this a s converter. I did ask the sale rep with it would work to convert Ethernet Internet to the USB and the new laptops could process the signal and they could.

    The sound was too low. Only low bass came from bass box with no audio sound. Only volume control was on bass speaker.
