    I suspect this would have worked fine for me, but I did not look at my dvi pins carefully. My monitor dvi is not compatible with this vga to dvi-a converter. Be careful looking at the pins to make sure your dvi is the right one.

    The adapter does what it’s supposed to. Just make sure you look at the pins on the DVI side as it only supports particular types.

    I bought a new computer and the plug i for my monitor did not fit into the new computer. It was a different size. I had to buy this adapter which I should not have had to do. HP should keep a standard size.

    VGA adapter isn’t frilly… but does the job just fine. The price was fair and I was able to pick it up the day I needed it rather than having to wait several days for an online order delivery from another supplier.
