    Took it to party with other waffle makers. Head cook preferred this model to other brans for size and ease of use.

    The idea is good and price is reasonable but in the end you get what you pay for. There is no temp or amount of crisp/done control. If you prefer your waffle crispier, you have to lift the lid and start over. There isn’t a signal to let you know it’s reached temp. Nor does it bake the waffle evenly. Hard pass.

    Made waffles for the first using the Bella Waffle maker. Followed the directions in the instruction manual by wiping down the maker with wet paper towel. Did smell a little when first started to heat up, but not bad at all. Made the first waffle & threw it out as stated in the instructions. Made two more waffles & they turned out great. When green light came on to indicate waffle was done, I have it an extra 15-30 seconds to allow waffle to form a slight crust/crunch. Iron does seem a little flimsy, but all in all it made great waffles!

    Does not have a dial for how dark you want your waffles. Unfortunately the waffles come out mushy in the middle because they do not cook long enough. If there was a dial like my old one had you could let them cook longer so the middle cooks through.

    Great waffle maker! We had waffles 2 ways. Used the boxed Belgian waffle mix then heated some maple syrup and butter. Some sliced apple, pecans and cinnamon rounded this one off. Next I mixed strawberries blueberries and raspberries in the blender with some sugar and lemon juice, drizzeled over the hot waffles and topped with whip cream. Delicious!! Nothing sticks to this waffle maker. It heats up fast and does a great job. Love it!!

    I was disappointed when i opened & inspected this unit. The fit together was poor, sloppy & the plastic parts had what looked like sanding marks & appeared to be spray painted black. I did not try it & instead, bought the Bella, square model, same type, appears much better quality & on sale they were a $5 difference. This is a nice size but the little bit bigger model is made/looks much better.
