The usb c hub works as advertised. I use it to do 3 screens (2 plugged in plus the laptop screen) on Mac and windows laptops
Matthew –
I have an HP Elite Book for work and MacBook Pro for home use and I need an inexpensive Tunderbolt 3 docking solution. The Belkin T3 Docking Station had the right combination of features for the price! I can dock a keyboard, mouse, and 4K monitor for both my Work and Home computuers with ease. You’ll need a separate power cord but this is a safer configuration anyways, lots of high end laptops need 150W power supply and Thunderbolt can only supply 90W. Good value, I’m impressed.
LoganF –
Payed a little extra for the quality. Totally worth it. Will last a lifetime
PageR –
Works great for what I need it for. Easy to transport as well
FarzamF –
I tried the product and unlike the advertisement of a universal docking station, it did not work with both my dell laptop and Asus laptop. don’t recommend
TomN –
Works great and connects to monitors the way I want.
Unknown –
Worked great for what i needed it for in getting my 3 screens to work
Kratos –
Very good item and is very useful for studies and other things.
JoeP –
Not a great value. Does not work with most accessories. Does not do pass through power. It is good transfer speeds but it is something I wish I could return. It is too late.
KirthiV –
Works as advertised. I use it for two 4k monitors to extend laptop, a usb webcam and usb jabra speaker. It works well but off late has started to get very warm, the screens get wobbly and turn off. Surely for low load, on the road purposes only
Unknown –
Tried it with the Ultrafine 5K and doesn’t work as a hub for other connection types such as HDMI. But I’m sure it has it’s use somewhere else.
Bfan –
It only connects the display but doesnt charge your laptop. The usb c cable is also very short
UncleNick0321 –
Does the job & I like the fact it has two HDMI ports for my dual monitors. Only thing is….I somehow thought it’d be bigger,

This item works for a while – then one monitor just randomly goes haywire and randomly different monitors. You unplug it from your MAC plug it back in and sometimes it works again sometimes only for a while. In an 8 hour day it freaks out at least once. Customer support is useless, they blame everything from the cable you are using then the monior, etc. I’ve switched to a different brand and have no issues now. Complete waste of over $100.
Whoawin –
I needed a quick fix to add multiple hdmi cables to my gaming laptop and to use my thunderbolt usb. I had a few issues with it as far as it heating up or randomly diconnecting. But overall it good.
CashR –
Easy to set up. Works perfectly. I would buy again.

Piece of junk. Steer clear of ALL Belkin products unless you want to experience aggravation and frustration.
This product was dead within a month.
Customer service??? As if. Still waiting for a refund or a replacement. It’s been more than 2 months.
Do yourself a favor and buy anything else.
No option to submit negtive start ratings.
LawrenceB –
Quit working after 5-weeks and not worth the price, right after the expiration date to do a return.
myself –
returned to the store since it was a not user friendly nor functioned, the way I needed it to
LizR –
I’ve had this for 2 years and it works exactly as needed. The cable is a but short so I had to make some adjustments on my desk since I have a raised laptop, but I have no complaints otherwise. I have 1 monitor connected but have tested 2 and use both USB porta.
TooHotTooWork –
Sure, it technically works but the frequency of overheating and then not working is very high
MZBBREV –
I bought this device after experiencing trouble during a presentation in early April with the output from my laptop through the usb-c dongle that came with the machine. I decided that would not happen again and I’m pleased to say that this station does a great job connecting to external interfaces. It’s much more compact than the docking station I use at home and I’m not going to travel without it.
JRPy –
Added a second monitor and needed a docking station. I’m all in for minimal cables and wanted something with a small foot print. Also, I needed to have a mixture of HDMI and usb. No issues at all.
caokc –
Bought this to connect my MacBook Pro M1 Max to my desk setup and it works great. Two 1080P monitors, a USB 3 hub, and a gigabit ethernet all connect to this dock and I love how small it is.
NathanH –
Resolution and scaling are a bit tricky. Well made but wish it had mounting option.
StacyP –
It took a minute for me to download what was needed, but then everything has been simple and works perfectly every time. Lots of ports to take care of a variety of needs
MoLouJBetta7 –
Don’t blink cause you might miss something. Having a dongle is important tool and this is it.
Raj10 –
Unfortunately didn’t work with Mac, but the product is good
ChristopherH –
Great usb hub for Mac, just wish the cord was a little longer
TimL –
Very nice worked like it was suppose to.
was very pleased with
SamuelC –
It doesn’t work at all. No matter what you do, this product does not work.
Jtn17 –
I wish I were happier with this product. It seem like I have to constantly unplug and plug the Thunderbolt cable into my MSI Windows 11 laptop every other time to get the monitors to refresh and come back on line. There is no driver for this docking station so this may very well be a Windows problem. Nevertheless, it should work more seamlessly than it does and, as such I can’t recommend it. It does work once you fiddle with it, though.

Great universal docking station. Plug and play and easy to switch docked laptops in seconds.
TNT1 –
Great overall value. This product delivers value, price and durability.
JuanJ –
Sometimes it doesn’t recognize the usb that’s plugged into the hub requiring reseating the usb c to the laptop.
HilalK –
One of the best simple docking station if you use Apple MacBook and dual monitors
RetiredPest –
I purchased a new MacBook and noticed it didn’t have enough nor the needed ports. Best Buy Rep. knew exactly what I needed and directed me to it. Great assistance and product. I really appreciate Best Buy’s staff, product lines and pricing.
sector001 –
wonderful docking station it just works, sometimes you would need to restart the laptop because it wouldn’t display on the 2nd monitor, but most of times, it will work. and not that expensive.

The Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station offers a convenient solution for expanding connectivity options for laptops and desktops with Thunderbolt 3 support. While it provides several useful features, it falls short in some areas, making it a decent but not exceptional choice.
Pros:
1. Versatile Connectivity (4/5): The docking station offers a range of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, and audio jacks. This versatility makes it suitable for connecting various peripherals, monitors, and external storage devices.
2. Thunderbolt 3 Support (4/5): The inclusion of Thunderbolt 3 support ensures high-speed data transfer and charging capabilities for compatible devices, making it a suitable choice for professionals and power users.
3. Solid Build Quality (3/5): The docking station feels well-built and durable, with a sturdy design that can withstand regular use.
4. Single-Cable Connection (4/5): The single-cable connection simplifies the setup process and reduces cable clutter on your desk, enhancing overall workspace organization.
Cons:
1. Limited Compatibility (2/5): The Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station is primarily compatible with Thunderbolt 3-enabled devices, limiting its usability for users with non-Thunderbolt laptops or desktops.
2. Price (3/5): The cost of this docking station is relatively high, especially when considering its compatibility limitations. Users may expect more extensive compatibility at this price point.
3. Power Delivery (3/5): While it provides power delivery capabilities, the wattage may not be sufficient to charge certain high-powered laptops at their maximum speed. Users should verify compatibility before purchasing.
4. Software and Firmware Issues (2/5): Some users have reported occasional software or firmware-related issues, such as compatibility problems with specific devices or issues with updates. These issues can be frustrating and impact the overall user experience.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station offers a range of connectivity options for Thunderbolt 3-enabled laptops and desktops. It provides versatile connectivity, solid build quality, and the convenience of a single-cable connection. However, its limited compatibility, relatively high price, power delivery limitations, and occasional software/firmware issues may leave some users seeking alternatives. If you have a Thunderbolt 3-compatible device and require a docking station for streamlined connectivity, the Belkin docking station may meet your needs. However, users with devices outside this compatibility range or those seeking a more budget-friendly solution may want to explore other docking station options available in the market.

DavidW –
Excellent product with absolute reliability and intuitive operation.
timboslice –
I use this docking station at work. It is great for driving two HD displays, ethernet connection for higher speed internet, and connecting a USB headset.
GregorioV –
I bought this item and it’s a very good quality and very helpful for my monitors
JosephW –
Simply amazing. Allows me to connect 2 monitors to my MacBook with each screen being independent and not mirrored. Definitely worth it!
BryanM –
Plugin 2 monitors is not working as expected, this was disappointing
BrianC –
Works perfectly! Our old one stopped working and I was able to get new one in E Lansing.
Anthony –
Exactly what I needed to connect a laptop to two monitors.
EricK –
Works exactly as advertised. Well worth the price.
JosephC –
Picked this up for work and have been very satisfied – I may even pick up another soon!
TimELiebe –
Got to say, it’s a bit disappointing, as I tried using it with external Hard Drives and the connections were sporadic at best. Maybe it works better with devices you would only use intermittently…?
