  1. Tyler

4 star because I think it could be cheaper and you only get 85w charging when the new macbook pro 16 have 94w adapters. Besides those 2 cons it worked out of the box and has all the ports I need to use.

  2. Coco

It does the job. The connectivity is amazing. Really love it.

  3. Roberto

Works fine. Plenty of power for my MBP. Does not properly pass through entire USB-C signal to my Dell monitor, (that takes away the ability to control the monitor from the keyboard or computer.) So I still have two cables going to my MacBook. Still helpful for my external speakers and hard drive but for $250 I would have appreciated a full solution.

  4. JMichael

I admit that I was concerned, given the affordability of this little marvel, I worried that it would not keep up. I am so glad that that fear proved groundless. I run everything through this beast and it never fails.

  5. SteveH

I use this for music production- I have 3 USB midi devices and 1 mixer that is also an audio interface. I also have an external SSD drive that contains a large amount of samples. I can take my MacBook Pro 16″ and connect a single thunderbolt cable that gives me a connection to all that plus charges the MacBook at the same time. I also use the SD card slot to save and restore patches, etc.

No issues with lag at all, the 40Gb/s speed is amazing. A minor complaint is that the included cable is 2.6 feet (0.8m) long, and I’d like it to be a little longer. A very expensive device that delivers the promises of Thunderbolt 3.

I had high hopes for this unit when I bought it. It checked all the boxes for I/O. After about 15 days of use it is beginning to glitch out. The first being the physical DP slot on the unit sometimes takes 10-20 plunging and unplugging for it to work. I know it is not the cable or the monitor because if i use an adapter the monitor works just fine. Also from time to time, the usb ports will start to disconnect and reconnect.

I will be buying another to replace this one, but I am extremely disappointed with this unit. I will update my review if need be.

Apparently this is a common issue with this dock.

  7. NewBuilder1

So far works exactly as it’s supposed to. Not disappointed by it and am using it daily. I recommend if you dont have an ethernet cable or just need higher transfer speeds

  8. Engineer

This is a great Thunderbolt 3 Dock. It was easy to set up and works fine with my Dell XPS13. No issues at all. Works every time.

  9. King

Works well but has some drawbacks with connecting to the internet and video out options if there is something better than this I’m the future waiti until then

  10. Anne

Exactly what I needed! I like that this is a small, light unit.

  11. Hussein

It is good for fix setup not that much for moving around.

  12. JDThird

I grabbed this to work with an HP Spectre X360, the 14″ 2021 model. I had two monitors at work, and the Dell dock I had used (WD15) up to that point just fine with the Dell laptop did not work at all for the Spectre for some reason.

I grabbed this based on some people having had success with it and the Spectre line.

But for me, it was more issues. I had no problems charging, and the USB ports worked fine, but I had inconsistent monitor usage, often total failure. I didn’t want a dock I had to disconnect, reconnect, and power cycle multiple times an hour just to keep working at the office, so ultimately I returned it.

  13. RegretCity

The dock is tough to use and frequently forgets about my separate monitor. It does not interface well with my speakers either. I regret this purchase and wish I had bought a different dock.

  14. PFitzgerald

Has ever port I might need now and in the future as my tech needs increase. Sleek design.

  15. speakandTv

Really good, robust docking station. Using a 34″ ultrawide monitor with it and no problems whatsoever.

  16. beva

Works better Than the original. No issues after everyday use for A month. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive

  17. Interesting

DONT BUY THIS DOCK STATION FROM BESTBUY!!!! Just skip the middle man (bestbuy) and go straight to Belkin or another seller. Ive ordered this product 4 times in the last nearly two months. Each time ive order it, the order has been cancelled on or after the stated delivery date. Ive tried ordering it only to ship to my home, ordered online to ship to store, and went in store to have the actual bestbuy rep place the order for in store. Each time its been canceled. And each time ive tried to talked to people on chat, over the phone and/or in person and store. Nobody has any legitimate explanation about why this product wont ship. DONT BUY FROM BESTBUY!! Ive tried to post this review a few weeks ago and it has NOT shown up on the item page. If this review doesnt display on the page within 24-hours, i will post it every single day until you do stop filtering it for my truthfulness and frustration. DONT BUY THIS ITEM FROM BESTBUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Consumer

It’s good for what it is. Had a problem with the Realtek chip as widely reported online. I have gigabit internet speed and would only get about 500 mb up and down.

  19. Tek5x

Order from from amazon instead if you actually expect to recieve the item.

  20. Kevin

Hard to say anything more. Didnt need Thunderbolt 4 speeds so this was perfect.

  21. RaeAndTy

Work Great it just bulky with the power cord not recommended for travel but its working great, better then the other stations we bought were the usb-c kept having a shortage.
