    I bought this so I can connect my iMac to TV. Works just like HDMI to HDMI but with a smaller port on the iMac side, audio-video is as expected and this works great with other computers or laptops as well equipped with mini display. Cable is good quality and fit in the port is good.

    I’m primarily using this as a computer monitor and it is very good for this purpose. I have watched a couple of movies and YouTube and the picture is bright and crisp. My only complaint is that the sound can be very “tinny” and does not handle base well at all.

    My HP Pavillion 32q (also from bestbuy) always wakes up properly as soon as I connect this cable to my MacBook Air 2017/2011.

    I recently updated to a new MacBook Pro and added a DisplayLink dock to expand my USB ports and support the two monitors that I had been using with the previous MacBook Pro. I had been using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable and a USB to HDMI cable. Turns out the DisplayLink hub does not support clamshell mode, and will not play HDCP video. A quick trip into town and back with this cable. Literals just plug in and go.
