    All the other reviews are right, but for my use-case, this is very good. The USB connector is a big too short. The VGA port is not great because there are no nuts to pull the plug tight. And since all the ports are on the back, it’s not easy to access the media slots. There are no USB-C female plugs on the back (except the one for power). And I hear-tell that you really can’t get more than one external monitor connected – despite having 3 ports (HDMI/VGA/DVI). But I have the one HDMI monitor, so it’s all good.

    But it works perfectly for me as it hides all the cords behind the MacBook. And it props the MacBook at a nice angle for typing and viewing.

    One note: There are no instructions about the anti-slide pads. They are covered with a slick adhesive tape. You need to remove the tape to get the benefit of the no-slip grips. And that tape is pretty tight.

    i’m using a dell XPS 13 Plus 9320, windows 11.
    Since started using the hub my bluetooth is totally crazy and that also affects the system shut down and restart.
    I have tryed reinstall bluethooth driver but still have this problem.

    i hate those drivers incompatibilities problems so much!!

    I work from home and I use 3 screens. I needed something that allowed me to hook up all my screens, and have the Ethernet port as well since my job requires me to use a VPN. This has worked phenomenally. Great choice for school or work!

    This is nice. I even bring it with me in my backpack with my laptop. It’s nice to be able to use to plug in a corded mouse or anything else you might need on your Mac. I like using it at home to hook up multiple screens to my laptop.

    This solved all of my cord connection issues at home and work and this one bar saved me a big headache. Now my monitor, usb, micro usb, watch usb, etc. are connected on one bar.

    Good product. But if your going to make a wedge to fix under the back of your laptop
    Make the C cable 3 to 4 inches longer.
    I can’t plug in the cable it’s to short for any of my ports.

    I bought this docking station in order to use multiple monitors with the Macbook Pro, the only issue i ran into is not being able to use the HDMI and Display Ports for multiple monitor setup on a 2018 MacBook Pro. I have two external monitors that i use, along with the MacBook. This docking station will not extend to the second monitor or third monitor, it’ll only mirror. So, i have one monitor hooked up to the docking station by Display Port, the other monitor is plugged into the MacBook using USB-C

    I am very pleased with this dock. Although VGA is not a common necessity on docks, I need two for my setup. My desktop utilizes the HDMI on my monitors, so my work and personal laptop utilize the VGA.

    I am using this with a SurfaceBook Laptop Studio and ZenBook Duo. Both have higher than 100W charging needs, and the SB cannot utilize USB charging.

    With that said, I was concerned the USB ports may be under powered and cut out, without a separate power supply. This has not been the case.

    My SB would sometimes have monitor sync issues with the Surface Dock 2, requiring me to disconnect and reconnect the dock. I have not had that issue with this dock.

    My ZenBook Duo only has Thunderbolt ports on the right side. As you may noticed from the image, the cable is short on this unit. So, this is my biggest usability issue. I had to purchase a 40gb/s USB-C/Thunderbolt extension cable, in order for it to reach the right side of my laptop.

    I believe there are units that offer higher-end specs, but this works for me. I get full-speed Ethernet, fast card reading, (The card reader is awkward to get to), and stable video output. That is what I wanted. I am using the chargers that came with my laptops to power them.

    If you have a macbook, this is the answer for office use. I was surprised how Mac has eliminated ports, and connectors but this gives you all the freedom back. I keep it on my desk for external monitor, headset, and network connectors to make office use a dream!

    A very useful and compact docking port. The attached thunderbolt cable is very short. This needs a separate purchase of a power supply if you want to pass power to a connected device like a rechargeable keyboard, or if you want to power your laptop through the thunderbolt cable.

    Bought this for my M1 Macbook Air and just after the year mark, it stopped working. It only works as a “charger”, as it doesn’t transfer any data. All ports are malfunctioning and turn things on and off in a flickering manner. For a $130 piece of equipment, I expected it to last much longer than a year. Its worth pointing out that it wasn’t used often. Perhaps a few times a month. Only things plugged in to it are my macbook, an HP monitor also purchased around the same date as this dock, some cheap Amazon speakers, and an Apple keyboard. . .
