    Bought these cables to hook up my new TCL 5 series TV to my old school CD/DVD player and Receiver. Read on other reviews that I might need to switch the colors around to get it to work; but this wasn’t necessary in my case. Just hooked it up, and it worked just fine. Good product for the price; would definitely recommend you give them a try first before trying a more expensive option.

    I bought this item to connect my old blu-ray player to my new sony smart tv. The discs play but the picture doesn’t have great quality. My blu-ray player and disks are old.

    Much to my surprise, this adapter *is* wired correctly for use with a Raspberry Pi. Works great.

    Similar adapters from other brands will either have the red and yellow lines swapped, or will simply display scrambled video no matter how you connect the leads. Not this one. Perfect for use with a Raspberry Pi.

    You may also want to buy three “RCA male to male couplers” (not sold at Best Buy) to pair with this cable. They’ll turn those three female ends into males.

    Bought for sony tv at recommendation. Did not work. Wrong part for rca to 3.5 mm av input. Second one as first one was cancelled and I was not informed until I went online to see delivery status.

    I got this for my new hisense tv because this is what the tv uses for aud/vid input. I tried to connect two different devices. Neither were recognized by the tv. I assume the cord was bad and I returned it.

    Didn’t work at all. I purchased this for my wii that I had been using on an older TV which has the proper connections. The TV I was trying to use it with only has AV connections. However, when using this adapter the image came out very staticy, black and white, and with no sound.

    I know it’s not my wii or its cables since it still work fine on the other TV

    This cable does what it’s supposed to. I wanted an inexpensive way to connect my Playstation 2 to my Sony Bravia TV without buying a composite to HDMI adapter. It works and is long enough so I can have my console on the floor, so the controllers reach my couch.

    As others have mentioned, the colors from your device going into the breakout cable may not match up so you have to test with yellow video cable (from your device) with each of the other leads on this cable until you get a picture. For me it was Yellow to Red. Not a big deal, but that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

    It didn’t work, the A/V may not be have met the standard for the plug and the only thing I got from it was noise. I returned it.

    Works as advertised! I was previously using an HDMI converter for my Wii, and the quality and scaling to the TV wasn’t great. Using this product I’ve gotten much better picture and quality when using on a modern TV. (Roku TCL OLED)

    Don’t worry about whether the colors match up: they’re the same exact wires and ports as each other, they’re just colored to make it easy to match up. The colors aren’t correct for my TV, but it works just fine. Just swap them until it works.

    I bought this to convert movies with. I wanted to be able to screen mirror my iPhone to my Pioneer head unit in my vehicle so my kids could watch movies on the screen. This worked wonderfully!! Only thing I would change is the power supply to it. Besides that, it’s a very handy gadget!!

    Works well for my purposes. My new TV did not have red, yellow, and white composite video inputs but it did have a 3.5mm composite input so this worked for me.

    The video quality looked terrible on my 4k TV but that’s not the fault of this product.
