I connected one port to my new Pioneer receiver and the other toa 12 volt. Now one plug connects you to android auto/apple car play and the other is a charger.
I replaced the stock 12 volt on my Wrangler and it looks 100% factory.

This kit was purchased in conjunction with my new Pioneer Infotainment dash unit for my 09′ Dodge Ram 1500. The GEEK SQUAD did a great sneaky install. There are two of the old school 12 V sockets, one on either side of the dash center stack. They made the socket on the driver’s side this new two point USB charging place. The other old socket is still available on the passenger side. It looks very factory-like. So I was very happy!

Was sold this item with my stereo, but when installed, the stereo would not accept a dual USB. Had to return it.

I bought this to have installed with a stereo for my husband. It works great, having two slots for charging is nice when we have kids in the truck, and makes the truck look more modern. Love it!

Used this to bring the rear USB connectors out to the dash from a Boss receiver. Removed the cigarette lighter and put this in its place. Looks like it could be factory and works perfectly so far
