Needed to replace the HDMI cable in the home theater and needed to run the entire length of the room. This worked perfectly.

  2. Billy

Granted I did not compare and contrast, but I purchased a home theater system and was going to go with a standard 30 foot HDMI cable for $30. However, after being informed by my in home consultant and doing some research to prove his assessment, at 30 feet HDMI cables can start to distort the picture. This cable is great, but remember to look at which end is which as we had to rerun the cable in the ceiling after we did it backwards!

  3. shaggy

Strong sturdy cables. We have a beautiful picture-not sure how much the cable contributes to that.

  4. Tommy

Higjly recommend to all my friends and really can see the difference and really works. Best Buy rocks

So here’s my setup. I bought the brand new Epson 6050ub 4K Projector. Attached it to a 1-year old Denon AVR-3400H with a 33-foot run. I tried using my previous HDMI cable which was the Monster Cable Black Platinum 35’ cable and couldn’t get things to work. No HDR off my Xbox One X. And my Apple 4K TV along with my 4K Blu-ray could only get HDR @ 24hz. So I tested these directly on a 3-ft cable and they all worked like they should. I researched the heck out of cables and was sure the 40-foot optical HDMI from Monoprice would work. I paid to get it overnight and connected it. I was shocked to find it was worse! No HDR, same output and this time several of my Apple TV movies flashed black and grey in dark scenes! Not to mention my Xbox One X went black as soon as I tried playing an HDR game. I had enough. I went to Best Buy and bought the Audioquest 41-foot Pearl Active HDMI. I will never listen to anyone spouting off “all cables are the same.” Sorry. The Pearl HDMI fixed everything. All my devices play and game at 4K 60/HDR! Not to mention looks noticeably clearer! If you’re having similar problems. Bite the bullet and pick up the Audioquest Pearl. It’s will make a believer out of you just like it did me… NOT ALL CABLES ARE THE SAME!

  6. Ronda

I had to upgrade the connectors to my upgraded projector. The preinstalled connectors were not compatible. Luckily, I was able to secure these higher quality cables.

  7. DeePee

I tried different HDMI cables, however by far audio quest is the best.

  8. EandE

Best purchase. It’s pricey but does the job! Great picture and no skipping

  9. Jhan

  11. DrPackerGB

HDMI cables come in many different qualities. While it is true one cannot truly compare unless you try two or three different cables in a set up, one after another, I can say that for my new home theater the sound and video is outstanding. I could have gone cheap or I could have gone overboard, I went Black AudioQuest, and I am impressed.

  12. Joshy

  14. CanYouHearMeMajorTom

This product delivers in excellent picture to my TV even though it’s longer than 25 feet. I don’t know where else to say it’s just a cable and it works excellent My only advice is to make sure can you check the arrows on the end to make sure It’s headed in the right direction

  15. Rosa

  16. ITGuy2019
