    Best solution for integrating aftermarket audio to an oem radio! I have a 2017 honda civic with a touch screen head unit, and the climate controls are built in to it so swapping it fit another unit wasn’t an option. The audio was severly lacking so i and to upgrade the speakers, add an amp and also add a sub. This unit allowed me to add an amp for the speakers and a subwoofer amp and the sound is phenomenal!

    Works as it is supposed to. Make sure you tighten all the connections well so that you don’t spend an hour wondering why your amp isn’t working or going into protect mode.

    I pruchase a passive LOC for my subs and they were clipping and it made my amp smoke so I bought this active LOC and wow what a difference. I installed another amp and this thing works like a charm. Totally worth the money!

    I love this thing! It makes my car’s audio sound amazing, after only owning the Lc2i for a month i upgraded my whole system again to the bigger sound system, which requires this bad boy, I’m glad did because this gave me so much better sound and plenty of options, spare no options for quality my friends.

    Excellent sound quality, easy install, works perfect right out of the box. Doesn’t sum the signals out if the box, but you can move a jumper to sum the inputs and send a fully summed output. For $200 from a brand like AudioControl this is a no-brainer.

    If you’re wanting to amplify front and rear speakers in your car with a factory head unit then this is what you want to use for signal. For the money this is by far one of the best ways to convert speaker level to line level for your amp.

    Spent a ton of money at BestBuy to retrofit a Toyota Tundra JBL system. All I have gotten from the Techs is blame on the JBL system. This device is missing the controls (thrown out by the techs?) and completely screws up Bass response at the very expensive amp. Bass comes on suddenly as either loud and thumping or NOT AT ALL. Crossover settings? Remote is missing. The whole this is very poor. I am very disappointed in the install, and now I have to wait 4 weeks to get it tuned properly

    I bought this to replace an LC6 that was giving me some problems. It was nice to see this unit was smaller than mine, I must have had an older larger footprint model. This unit was perfect for my install. I wanted to keep the OEM unit installed and just amplify the speakers. My set-up didn’t have a subwoofer out signal and the internal summing of unit made it so it would have one going out to the subwoofer. About 1 month in… So far it’s going great, but i’m not sure how long these units last.

    Purchased this along with other components for my install. All of the components are highly rated and I was really looking forward to getting my system installed so I could enjoy some good music in my car. The parts aren’t the problem. The installation is the PROBLEM! Installers disabled my front door entry sensors, scratched my door panel with a screwdriver or something sharp. My window on my drivers side won’t roll down all the way, passenger door makes a very loud clunk when rolling down. Front door tweeters are wayyyyyyyyy to bright(I have to turn the tweeters all the way down), Rear speakers play only mid bass(they’re coaxial speakers)! Very disappointed with install! I’ve been back 3 times for help and haven’t resolved anything yet! My next appointment is next Tuesday and it will be my last! If everything isn’t repaired and adjusted correctly, I’ll be demanding my money back! Stay tuned!

    Im using this on a 2022 toyota 4 runner with a stock head unit. It increases the headunit voltage out to the amp. Accubass works but the type of sound i get overall with this device is meh. Audio control made a great product that does what it sais it does. I just do not like how it sounds some times but overall i would reccomend this product to anyone looking to keep their head unit stock and go aftermarket for audio.

    This is needed if your car is newer and you just can’t replace the head unit, also if you want to upgrade your speakers and add amp. It made a huge difference, it really did clean out the sound, i heard details on the songs that i haven’t noticed before. Paired with a p300-12 rockford fosgate and 2 alpine component set

    I returned this because I needed a more vehicle specific interface option, for my 2015 Ford Edge w/sony premium audio. I purchased the Pac Audio Ampro AP-4FD21. I have not started my install yet. I still have to get a couple more components to complete my system. I believe that the LC7i is an excellent option for non-amplified oem systems.

    This product works wonders, I get no engine noise and I have a clear sound as it was designed too. Thank you AudioControl for a great product! One thing I need to add. Do your shopping wisely because Best Buy will not Price Match this item. They gave me the run around, and still no price match. Thinking of returning and buying through another Authorized Dealer. Its the Principle, not the money. Best Buy – Remove your statement of Price Match Guarantee… this is false. Overall, I would buy this item again through a different retailer.

    This was an awesome LOC that worked flawlessly with my factory Toyota Camry touchscreen stereo. I was able to keep all factory functions but now add an amp and upgrade all the factory speakers. This LOC made it happen. Great price too.

    Great for newer cars with factory amps or without and if you want more control to fine tune your audio output. Best feature would be the amp control knob (purchased separately) it allows you to turn down the base when you need a little quieter ride to work in the early mornings!.
