  1. binici

I bought two of these; one for my movies and the other for my video games. Does a nice job for storing the items and everyone likes the window panes. Wish there were a bigger version, but these will do for now.

It is a pain to assemble and the quality is not the greatest, so becareful when putting it together.

  2. Elpasoguys

I like the look and function of the cabinet. But, it was very frustrating to begin the building process and run across a piece that was cut appropriately. I called and ordered the replacement part (which arrived fairly quickly) but found it to be quite irritating to have to do that in the first place.

  3. Honydo

Everything about the cabinet is great except the 100 plus tiny screws. With no pilot holes in the doors it was impossible to get all the screw s in correctly. As good as everything else was I hope they can find a better way to do the small screws. I give the cabinet a 9 out of 10, I give putting it together a 3.

So this particular online purchase I feel was a slight bust after all is said and done. The price is not worth the product.
It looks awesome matches the other espresso items in the room and is fully enclosed if aligned correctly.
It’s typical MDF material with cam screws, cam locks, dowels so nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary with materials. Concerning the construction however when you have the frame up and install the shelves the frame is still very unstable. The shelves don’t quite meet end to end when inserted which doesn’t help any stability but really shouldn’t need to once you have the frame placed together. Since it’s not stable even with shelves that’s a big negative. True it shouldn’t be under a huge amount of dynamic stress but it should be able to stand someone accidentally leaning on it for a few moments.
When I received it and took it out of the package was much more dusty/dirt built up than other items of this type.
The glass on all the sliding doors needed to be tightened out of the box.
Parts were missing to get all of the shelves installed initially and the backboards. Manufacturer said they would send me more hardware just give them the part items. Part items are letters and I included in the first email. They don’t have access to their own manuals apparently. I give points for being prompt though.
Comes with drywall anchors which makes perfect sense to me given the width and depth of the unit. This however was not on the description and should be especially if mounting into stone or other hard material.
Putting together was straightforward. I have built quite a bit of MDF furniture so took about 2 hours to complete including clean up. Would I buy it again… no for the amount of money they are asking for I can’t justify it. I was tempted to take it back but since it was an online order and no truck for transport back to BB I’m just going to use it till it’s done. Much better to find real shelving for that amount of money if you have a large amount of media.

I bought this to free up space in my living room, replacing 2 cases with this 1. It looks great, but I’m not sure if the effort to build it is worth the product in the end. Building the frame was easy, but then back is screwed on, not nailed, requiring extra effort that could have been easily avoidable. If the manufacturer could have done one thing in the process, they should have either drilled pilot holes for the pieces on the doors, or done that assembly themselves. Drilling the wheels and such onto the doors took longer that everything else combined!

I also recommend getting the wall support installed. The case is so tall that it seems to lean when it’s filled.

  6. doperyde

rather instable after put together, but otherwise fine.

  7. Ralph19801980

I highly recommend this product. It holds my entire BluRay collection and it both looks and feels great. You will not regret getting this item. Great value for the price.

  8. doug0703

I would highly recommend this cabinet to any friends family or anyone that I know that is looking for a Entertainment Center cabinet for their DVDs, CDs, or Blu rays.

  9. booley

top two shelves need to be taller so dvds can stand upright and fit more movies in the case.

  10. GRichardson11

Excellent size. Unstable, Didn’t realize I had to secure it in the wall.

  11. Gary

good product. -1 star for messy packing. When I opened the box the thermocol (Polystyrene) packaging was literally in pieces so small they flew all over my house and I spent a longer time cleaning up the mess and vacuuming. The top part was a little tough to assemble to the bottom. Overall a good product.

  12. DOGIES

I like this because it holds 348 blu-rays its very nice looking to

  13. Drea

Like normal when ordering furniture online, the packaging was a little beaten up and a ton of padding that just got all over the place (it clogged my Dyson which I totally regret getting). It was a little bit unsettling to see it was a bit unstable, but once it was mounted to the wall that problem quickly resolved itself. The only real issue I had was the top doors; the measurements were a bit off so the don’t slide easy but that’s okay, I mostly got it for feng shui reasons.

I now own 3 of these storage cabinets. They are excellent for what they are – a relatively inexpensive way to store a large quantity of DVDs, CDs, or video games. The “wood” is not very thick or solid – expect the shelves to bend within a few weeks. The sliding doors, while a great idea, don’t fit perfectly in the frame. Having said all that, these are a very good option if you’re not willing to pay the price for solid wood.

  15. Dangar

This thing should not have gotten through quality control. I had misdrilled screw holes, stripped screw holes (that I had nothing to do with), a sharpie mark on the front, and the only thing keeping it from collapsing is the cardboard backing. Without that, there’s no support for this unit. Not to mention, it’s packed with that crumbly cheap styrofoam that statically clings to everything and gets all over the place. My cat walked by it and it looked like it snowed on him. That all being said, once built, it looks good and is very functional for storing DVDs and other media, or even for collectibles. My suggestions is wait for this to go on sale or clearance. I’d consider buying more at half the price because of these issues, but would never pay full price for this unit again.

  16. Babs

It was easy to put together! It is very good for putting all my DVD’s in! The shelves have plenty of space!

  17. Lisa

Fits my DVD’s perfectly! Glass doors slide nicely. Looks great in my living room!

  18. Brick

Bought because it was down from $250 to around $125 but was disappointed in it being particle board. For that original price i thought it was real wood

  19. Lisa

This cabinet is perfect! Fits my DVD’s as well as my CD’s nicely.

  20. Charlie

Parts for this item are very flimsy – not made well. Very disappointed in this product.

  21. JEBMAN

Easy to build. Looks awesome. Holds all my DVD’s and CD,s

  22. DaltonD

A great cabinet with plenty of room! The quality is outstanding and is definitely worth the cost

  23. Michelle

It is beautiful and fits all of my movies which is what we needed our bookshelve that we had all of our movies on completely fell apart so I’m glad we found this one

  24. PamC

I hired someone to put it together and paid them $50. Glad I did as all of the details were done well. Storing coffee mugs ini it.

  25. Anubis

These cabinets were very easy to build and they are extremely functionable they hold all of my DVDs Blu-Rays for k and one case is just for all of my wife’s book collection! I would have given them a five star but both boxes were smashed a little bit and the styrofoam packing broke into literally thousands of small little styrofoam balls that statically clone to every piece that I pulled out so I probably spent more time vacuuming all of the styrofoam balls off of the carpet and the product then it took me to actually build the item

  26. John

The value isn’t there for the quality of the product. I was expecting density of the pressed particle board to be on par with that of furniture from IKEA, but it is a much less dense and cheaper alternative. I had a couple pieces of the hardware that is used in the assembly of the cabinet break during assembly. The backboards were not the correct size; one was a little too large and the other was a little too small. The cabinet looks great when fully assembled, but the sliding doors leaves about 2 inches in the center of each shelf blocked. There is a lot of unused space if you are only storing Blu-rays and 4K Blu-rays.

  27. Loso

It’s smaller then I thought but it’s beautiful peace I need to get another one

  28. Jearagon

Good product. Looks fantastic, but will need a vacuum as the foam inside the box is extremely messy. Easy install.

  29. Greg

This thing would be pushing “value” furniture at $100. Flimsy, nightmarish packaging, and a waste of an evening putting together to ultimately probably return. Find something else, this thing is trash..

  30. Swimmer

Went together well. Not too difficult to assemble. Doors match up and hang straight. Definitely want to attach it to the wall. It looks nice. Like the windows so I can see what is inside and where it is located. Have many dvds to store.

  31. Jtyler

A PLUS! VERY HANDY. Solid built, always like best buy

  32. Tiffany

Easy to set up and works great. Glass doors give it a high end feel. Doors open and close very easily.

  33. Robert

I had previously purchased one of these cabinets and likes the way it keeps my movies collected and looking nicer with the doors closed. So, I purchased a second for my games and additional movies.

  34. Criterionmedia

Item as described, some assembly required, not perfect , but service it’s purpose. Over all a good buy

  35. Z064ever

Such poor quality the installers suggested I send it back.

  36. linda

I really like this media cabinet. It looks good, holds a lot. I was hoping the espresso color wouldn’t be so dark, it is almost black.
It is nicer than I expected.

  37. Techchallenged

This was the worst assembly experience in a long period of assembling and building things, including building my own home.
First, the “screwdriver” provided in the packaging is inadequate for tasks required in assembly. Fortunately for me I have a large of assortment of the necessary tools and the skills in their use.
The “instructions” do not give the person assembling it any cautions or hints necessary for any sort of success in assembly.
The packaging when I got the media cabinets was severely damaged but amazingly it did protect the contents. Kudos! However…
I will refer to certains pieces of the cabinet as they labeled in the manufactures assembly instruction.
First the Cam screws must not be overtightened at all. If one does, then when one attempts to engage the cam locks they will not engage because the head of the cam scew will not high enough. This mean disassembly and adustment of the cam screw and then back to engage the cam lock. And do not try to use any more than the most modest torque to engage the cam lock as it is somewhat fragile.
Second, be aware that the wooden dowels are a vey loose fit. I thought about using glue but no mention is made in the assembly instructions and I did not want to find out if a loose fit was necessary to allow all the pieces to fit together. So only preinstall the dowels in an up direction.
Third, I strongly recommend either predrilling the holes around the back panels into the back edges of the side panels or make certain that the phillips head installing tool that you use has a very tight fit with the tool. These screws do not go in easily without one or the other preparation techiques.
And be aware that there are exactly the number of cam screws, cam locks, and screws that you need for each cabinet included in the packaging. So is you loose or damage one, expect you will need an alternative that is not provided.
Fourth are the doors. On these you will need to extend the door wheels all the way down but do not use any more torque than absolutely necessary. Otherwise you will likely disable the lowering mechanism. And the instructions give no hint to what to do in that case. Then there are the door pins. They engage into a groove in the panel above the door but do not assume that because they spring upwards that they are actually fully engaged in the groove. Because if they are not they will literally fall out at the least touch.
And lastly as to quality. The backing panel appears to be a very thick paper product.

  38. Refrigerator

Love this! Very top heavy and thankfully it came with mounting brackets. This is a perfect fit for my nook.

  39. Disappointed

Had this media cabinet one week and started putting my DVD’s in the cabinet. Sometimes the doors would slide smoothly and then next time they didn’t slide very well. While sliding the outer upper door open it suddenly jumped off track and hit my feet causing injury. I would not recommend this product because of the risk of the doors unexpectedly falling off. Very disappointed.

Patience patience patience whilst putting this together. And it says “Espresso” but looks black to me. I wish I’d gone a different route with a Blu-ray cabinet. But it’s put together and I’m over it.
