    Overall, the storage unit is very good. The assmebly, particularly putting on the backing, is quite awkwardwith the base plate attached. One side of the attachment screws pulled completely out while trying to put on the backing. I was able to fix it but had to set the unit on its side (instead of on its face as the directions specified) in order to finish attaching the backing.

    Was easy to assemble. Accommodates tapes, CDs, DVDs and VHS.
    You can set the shelves at different heights to meet your needs.
    Make sure to use the attachment to secure to the wall. Could possibly
    fall forward if you don’t.

    I bought two units because it looked so good on line! Building it was easy but the instructions said to turn the unit over to attach the back Panel. As soon as I did, the top and bottom attachment hardware pulled out of the composite material due to the different dimensions (2.5 approx.) between the top and bottom panels and the flex caused by the difference. Not repairable after that. Sorry but, better materials are necessary. You happily refunded my money. Thanks for the good and cheerful refund service.

    This media storage cabinet was easy to put together and the directions were clear and simple to follow. The unit has multiple adjustable shelves and is capable of storing a lot of CDs. It helped me get my collection neatly organized. It even came with the brackets to attach it to the wall. Great cabinet!!

    I bought a small cute cd/dvd shelf to put my small collection in. I was amazed how many more of those shelves I would need. I did research and found this…I could use another but I need a bigger house first. Go big then bigger…you have many more than you think. The directions were eh…but rely more on the pictures and do it right. Not the strongest material but it is better than what it costs. It is tall and wide but sticks close to the wall. Measure You don’t want to try to get this back into a box.

    I HAVE 5 OF THESE AND AM AN AVID BLU-RAY COLLECTOR. THESE ARE PERFECT FOR YOUR BLU-RAYS ( OR DVDS) AND I HAVE THEM ALL ALONG 1 WALL IN A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT WHERE SPACE IS AN ISSUE…. A LITTLE BIT DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT! I LOVE THEM AND AM GOING TO BE BUYING AT LEAST ONE MORE, GET YOUR NOW!

    This unit may look like it would take a while to put together, but it went together quickly and easy, with minimal fuss. The worst part was just getting the box out of the car and into the room.

    I’ve used this to replace three standard bookshelves. They wasted space, whereas this maximizes it! Typical home construction product. Made of typical materials. Only shelf I could find like it.

    This holds so many movies without taking up space! It hugs the wall and is tall, so it was just what we wanted. Not too hard to assemble especially if you’ve assembled any DIY furniture before.

    Nice low profile unit that holds alot of DVD’s and VHS items. Wasn’t too bad to put together. Arrived in good shape with all the pieces. Wish the holes were spaced a little tighter so I could stuff a couple more shelves in. But I like it, it’s really nice.

    This is the best media cabinet I have ever bought. It can easily hold all of my games and then some. However, with that being said, I do think that it is overpriced.

    The shelf can easily hold all of my games an then some. My only problem with it is that the shelves are slightly wobbly.

    After reading reviews I was a little nervous about setting this up. However, after some early confusion we were able to complete it using advice from another review on the Bestbuy website. It does a nice job holding my CD collection. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cabinet to hold DVDs or CDs.

    I have 2 of these cabinets and they are very nice. My only complaint is that my newer one has shorter shelves than the previous one. Not sure if they are trying phase out dvd storage in favor of blu ray only but the shorter shelves aren’t all that great.

    Rack holds a large amount of CD’s. Box came a little damage from shipping. I checked contents good and all pieces were ok. Rack was easy to assembly and I would recommend.

    Good storage for your DVDs. A little time consuming to assemble, but a good bang for the money. The adjustable shelving is convenient & easy to use.

    If u have a bunch of dvds or bluerays this will work for u. The directions are terrible though keep that in mind.

    As others mentioned, this item is not of high quality and the fasteners tore out during assembly and that’s saying a lot since the assembly was an easy process. If you’re looking for cheap, low quality, bottom of the barrel, Ikea level shelving, this is it. The unit is not sturdy and the shelf pins fall out very easy, causing the shelf to actually fall down. Please don’t waste your time and money on this.

    I’d had and older model for at least 15 years and due to water damage, it had to be retired. I was happy to see this brand was still around. The overall format is the same with a few seemingly minor differences. The biggest two being the actual shelves are thinner and the overall unit is bigger.
    I put together the shelf last night only to discover that one of the side panels is warped. What happened when I installed the side panel? It split it two different places.
    So, just be aware of that when you get yours.

    The media center holds a lot of dvds. Assembly is a challenge. I had BestBuy assembly it. A great decision. I recommend the unit.

    I had purchased this Oskar same media cabinet maybe 7 yrs. ago from Best Buy but decided to buy a 2nd one as I have a massive CD collection. While the 2 cabinets mesh together well, I am slightly disappointed because they don’t match exactly. Oskar seems to have cut back on the quality of the product over the yrs., especially with the shelves being several inches shorter nowadays (see the skimpier shelves on the left in photo). Still it is a handsome display of my collection.
