  1. CARRE

Was a good monitor…..but not great. The speakers were not good at all and the display was not clear enough for detailed photo/art needs. I loved the adjustment features! Did not like the adjustment buttons at all!

  2. Josh

Blown away by the quality of this monitor. The difference between my old 1080p panel and this one is night and day.

Colors are incredibly vivid and the images (particularly text) is crisp.

Loved it so much I decided to buy another one for my second display.

  3. Virgo101

This monitor is amazing! The colors are sharp and crisp and the screen size is perfect for my needs. I’m pleased with my choice.

  4. SkipV

Purchased this monitor to use as a primary monitor for my 2012 Mac Mini Quad Core i7 with 16GB of RAM. I use this one along with an ASUS VG245H monitor.
This monitor is connected via the mini-display port (V 1.1). I initially had used the 1.2 version of the display port and the monitor would suddenly click off without warning. I realized that the mini may not be able to keep up with the more advanced setting of the 1.2 version for the display port and once I switched, I haven’t had any issues since.
Overall, this is a very capable monitor with great features that you can use to customize it to suit your requirements. I use this in the 2560 x 1440 HD resolution and whatever I am viewing is always very sharp with outstanding color. This is a very bright monitor, which I wanted, but is adjustable as well. The monitor only has a 5ms response time but I don’t play games so I wasn’t concerned by this response time.
I also use the versa mount for both monitors and they look great together. I would have purchased two of these had the price been lower, but decided to get the smaller VG245 to complement this one and I am very pleased with the performance of both. Also, I wasn’t sure the 2012 Mini would support two monitors like the ProArt.
I really like the fact that the monitor has multiple connectivity (display port, mini-display port, HDMI) as well as 4 USB 3.0 ports as I usually have multiple disks and accessories connected at any one time.
Another reason I chose the ASUS monitors was because they come with a 3-year warranty.
If you are looking to upgrade your monitor without breaking the bank, this is a good choice. While I run an older desktop computer, this monitor will be around when I eventually upgrade my 2012 desktop. I do have a MacBook Air (M-1) and I can connect it to this or the other monitor without worrying that the monitor will not be able to keep up with the laptop.
I definitely would recommend this monitor to anyone.

  5. ASUSMonitor

This monitor lives up to everything the vendor says for it. I’m extremely happy and will be buying an additional monitor as well. The colors are great, Settings are easy to manipulate and I love the ASUS quality and build.

  6. phill

Rock solid monitor – I am very happy and own two.

    Pros: Colors and brightness

Cons: setting up some of the different option can be weird.

  7. DMS1952

This is an amazing monitor for the price…rich, vibrant colors, 75hz refresh rate and calibrated by ASUS. For those of us who work with photographic colorwork, and dont want to break the bank, this is the monitor to buy. Check out the reviews…they are very positive. Highly recommended!!!

  8. Photojoe

I’ve had this monitor for a couple months now and it is very color accurate. For the type of editing I do it works fantastic.

  9. mikev

For the price this monitor is almost unbeatable, excellent color reproduction for video and photo editing, shop and compare.

  10. LUIKS449

I’m a designer and this monitor fits my needs, super color contrast and really comfortable movements, very ergonomic!

  11. JCMU

Great product. This arrived as ordered & in a timely way. The USB-C feature and IPS screen were the deciding factor and they delivered!

  12. PattyK

Nice Monitor, slow starting up on a Mac Mini with multiple (3) monitors. Don’t get me wrong, the display is outstanding, it’s just that, after waking up from sleep or locked, the Display takes about 10 seconds to wake up to the login screen.

It’s a minor grumble, but without it, this would be a 5 star review

  13. R5er

Excellent product, impressed with all the features.

  14. lilibean22

Great picture. Love it! Only thing I don’t care for is the ruler etched into the frame at bottom. It’s not pleasing to the eye.

  15. LRollins

This is an excellent budget-friendly, art centered monitor that functions well as an all around display also. I have this hooked up to both my personal and work systems, and it works excellent on both. One has a 2070 Super graphics card and the other has a 3090, for reference. I work in VFX and although the color accuracy is not going to match your super high end monitors with their high end prices, it gets the job done.

  16. Ang31

Decided to update my monitors. Glad I got IPS now. Only draw back is if you get two monitors they might not match, had to order a 3rd and return one since the color were so off.

  17. Mike

Beautiful picture. Power switch failed after 9 months. Research shows that the power switch is a common problem. Leave the monitor in the on postition and never touch this switch and it will serve you well.

  18. terryscott621

This monitor is a great size for a home office. The design is excellent and looks very nice and it has all the adjustments that you could every want. My only complaint is that even though they say these are color calibrated from the factory and they come with a calibration sheet, I feel as if the colors are still a little bit off.

  19. Gamerson

Images are crisp. Perfect and affordable comparable option to apple monitors.

  20. anon19

I’m happy with it so far. It does have some issues, but they occur so infrequently that I’m not concerned. Note that if your laptop goes to sleep sometimes the monitor will not wake up. You will need to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI.

  21. Photostar

Really enjoy this monitor, I had problems with using mini display port however on my Mac Mini, since have switched over to HDMI, with no issues.

  22. Starrzz

Terrific monitor. Easy hook up with an older iMac via Displayport cable. Great colors. Quality build and easy to use. Height adjustments are a wonderful feature for this monitor.

  23. Geezer

Good price point of this monitor. Had a problem with the side USB port being intermittent. Best Buy quickly refunded the full price. My son got a replacement that works great.

  24. Shari

With my deteriorating vision issues, this monitor makes it possible for me to use my laptop with ease. The display is clear and crisp and has several adjustments you can make to fit your needs. I highly recommend this!

  25. Goodfeller

Buy a pair of these for my new Mac Studio, work great. Also connected them to my Surface. Clear colors and picture.

  26. Disappointed

Screen arrived and when connected it had a very poor picture. Returning to manufacturer for repair. Drivers are not compatible with Apple products, although since it is a plug and play screen, it should reproduce a good picture. I researched monitors and this was recommended by more than 1 review.

  27. Ramraj

Started noticing dead pixels 20 days after the purchase. Best buy would accept return/exchange. Bad experience

  28. PnutBuddha

I purchased this to use as an additional monitor for my work mac book. My new computer is a PC and this monitor works perfectly with the new layout.

  29. DDim

Works well! Have been using it for video and photo editing. Although, it took a while to connect using my laptop, initially. I had to play with the display settings before my laptop would show up on the monitor.

  30. SnapLA

Super efficient…great colors and brightness. Good for everyday use not just design.

  31. Dick

Easy to setup once you find the software online. Excellent color and very sharp picture. My photos have never looked better.

  32. OftenInFocus

A terrifically clear and bright screen. My old eyes are appreciating it.

  33. AbigaleL

Best value for all the qualities. Clarity just the right size and repositioning if you choose to use that feature.

  34. Taz1234

Love it great graphics and big enough for gaming I recommend it to those who play games

  35. Bryan

If you don’t need or can’t afford a 4K monitor this is an excellent alternative. It has great color accuracy, and the stand is sturdy and adjustable. I’m very happy with this purchase.

  36. Lanshark

Love this monitor, i loved it so much i bought a second one for my other desk.
what can i say, its big, its bright, the colors are crisp and its resolutions are plenty high enough for the size.
I also like the stand, it goes up and down and side to side,

  37. steph

Great, photography/editing computer defintely worth the buy

  38. Reid

Good vivid display with an excellent stand for coding

  39. TonytheToe2020

Good image quality and the monitor is well built. Recommend

  40. JoseGG

The Asus ProArt 27in WQHD monitor is everything I expected from an arts focused color accurate monitor. I use this mainly for my photography outside of work and it holds up well. The specs on website incorrectly state that this is a 100MILLION to 1 contrast ratio which is impossible on this LCD based monitor. It’s just a standard 1000:1 edge lit monitor. Dark scenes during movies are not great, but they aren’t horrible either. Bright colorful screen looks beautiful as expected on this monitor. Overall, a great screen for photographers, but not so much for movie enthusiasts or gamers.

  41. AbigailL

I’ve had this for about 6 months now. I wish I had bought it sooner.

  42. Anonymous

Excellent display. Very crisp, colors are perfect.

  43. Tech8T9

Very hesitant initially to get this monitor. But because of its color certifications and resolution (MAC owners please research) i went with this one. Im very happy with it. looks great with my m2 mini

  44. Bbdec1

This is a great entry level monitor. I thought I was purchasing a USB-C version so I could use the hub and monitor with only one cable. I chose this by mistral but it isn’t a big enough deal to send back. As for the quality, I’ve never had a true HI Def monitor and the colors pop!

  45. EmeraldWarrior

A little lcd bleed but the colors are on point!!!!

  46. PeterW

    Great monitor .,………………………………….,,,……….,,,,,………………..

  47. Mark

It’s a good monitor for the price. You really can’t beat it. I like the swivel capability although I’ll probably never use it. I’m using the monitor primarily for music production and DJing. The clarity is crisp and clear for my needs, but if you’re someone who is into photography or video you may want something more. But if you’re on a budget it’s really a great monitor for the price.

  48. CthulhuLives

This is an outstanding 1440P monitor. I purchased a second one after a poor experience with another major brand. Highly recommended!

  49. Red40

Does every thing I expected. Very easy to setup. One deficiency is the speaker has limited output power.

  50. SauravD

This monitor is great for those who wants to have a color accurate creative workflow on a budget. The ProArt tag stands for itself and displays gorgeous colors. This could be the best budget monitor for photo or video editing. Gamers please excuse the refresh rate of 75Hz, there is something else for cheaper for you but for those who involve in both worlds, should be buying this. Highly recommend.
