Have to buy so many extras just so the headset can work how its supposed to. If its made to work with a ps5, include all the parts. For that price, you think it would. First you need the Ps5 adapter to even use the headset, then you need a Y-splitter so that you can charge them on the base station. Sound quality isnt bad once you get them working. Never buying another astro headset again.

The item did not work I even purchased an additional device for the ps5 so I could hook up the optical cable. It didn’t work there or on my laptop.

They are really confutable but a lot of noise get in the audio lack a lot I have to return them , they keep breaking in the top part you don’t really have a really good spatial hearing so on fps it’s no very helpful but it has Dolby atmos (sometimes you can tell the difference) for the price you can get something better

Love the sound and feel of these headphones. Although, the headband around the top always pops out, and twists. No matter what I do nothing fixes it(besides zip ties). If it wasn’t for this, it’d be 5 stars all day long

Bought for my daughter because she always took my headset , she didnt like the one I got her last year. I absolutely love this headset. I’ve owned my set for few few now. We use them for PC. Recommended to get the Dolby software makes it even better. My only complaint is the LED’s on the dock dim over time .

I’ve been an Astro fan for years, and let me be honest here, the headphones are good, the quality feels good and is until something breaks. The top headrest will fall out and you can’t put it back in unless you buy a bracket to hold it in place which I have done ($7 amazon purchase) The sound quality is good imo, I play a lot of fps games where hearing footsteps and other sounds is very important and you can make different profiles and switch very easily if you have a different sound profile for different games. These are definitely gamer approved.

I still use them everyday perfect for ps4. I use them now for ps5. it lost a bit of surround sounds but after firmware update they’re usable if you want full experience, need hdmi adapter sold separately

I take my gaming seriously and I need high quality mics with no audio issues and the Astro a50s delivered in every way possible they have a strong wireless connection I can walk across my house and the connection won’t drop or cut out at all and the boys can hear me perfectly, and I receive the best audio from the game sound and party chat and the battery life is amazing I can game all day and the headphones will barely start to die and unlike any other headphones I’ve used in the past you can charge the headphones and use them at the same time but the only inconvenience is you need a laptop or computer so you can tune the headset and update them periodically but that’s not usually much of an issue

I bought them because people say that these headsets are the best for gaming, but I don’t think so, when you play shooters you can hear the shots too loud but not the steps, or your friends in the chat group, it’s really annoying, even this hurts your eardrums. I tried everything but nothing worked for my so I returned them.

It is heavy to wear and it connects instantly when I don’t want it to so I have to go to my settings to change the output from my headset to my tv and it is very pricey, but overall it is a great headset to use for games.

It works fine for two years. After it forces an update which there is two. One for the headset and one for the base station. Upon updating, theres an error message that even logitech cannot fix. This is their words:
we regret to inform you that your product is already outside the warranty period and we are unable to proceed with a warranty claim. Since we do not have official repair centers, we could not provide you with an alternative solution at this time.

3D sound is amazing. The charging dock is sooo convenient. after 4 hours of gameplay, the battery was still roughly 75% charged. The top band could be built a bit better and will start digging in if you are not careful about it.

Battery life is alright but the headset is too heavy, I can only play for a an hour or two comfortably before the crown of my head gets sore. The sound quality is muddy; even after adjusting the EQ settings. Theyre okay but not worth the expensive price

These headphones have really good sound quality and soft comfortable earmuffs. That’s about the only pros to them. Cons are having to buy an extra $30 adapter for them to work correctly with PS5, the headband doesn’t stay attached anymore, and the charging port does not always seem to fit correct. I have to wiggle around to get the connection. For the price I’m a bit disappointed, however the sound does make up a little. I would much rather have bought the T40’s.

Great sound, but dont usebwith PS5, you will need an adapter for proper sound (due to no optical out on ps5) the Astro one doesnt even support 4K at max speed. You will have to shell out more money for something better, wheras $99 ps5 3d audio headphones synch and sound better. 3 stars as any other need other than PS5 these would be excellent.

They worked great for the first 2 years, but now they just don’t charge consistently. This essentially makes me keep the headset stay connected which defeats the point of it being wireless. The headset feels premium and looks premium but it sucks that it rarely keeps a charge.

I had astro a50s for year never had problems lasted 4 years. I bought these new ones and the top cushion fell off and wont clip back on. This is a very weak built verison of the a50s
