    This was my second one purchased in 2 years this was lasted 2 weeks and the video stopped working just like the other one. The god news is while troubleshooting I found out it’s not required any longer. I’m guessing some did an update to make it work with the micro usb lil on PC

    Works great for a month and something will go wrong. Either the sound stops working or it dies completely and gets no power. Astro will send a replacement after making you try some troubleshooting. But the entire process can take 2-3 weeks so if you’re someone who relies on it to stream, it can be an inconvenience. I’ve already gone through 3 of these now. I’m moving on to something else. Good luck if you end up purchasing one of these.

    Literally just a powered convertor from audio optical to an hdmi. Im using this with my rigg head set. So far so good.

    Very disappointing! I’ve had to replace this unit four times. Earlier today, it stopped sending signal to my monitor. Paying $299 for the headset then $40 for the adaptor is a bite. Would NOT recommenrd

    I’ve had a Z-5500 5.1 Logitech speaker system that I used with my PS3 and PS4. It’s not the fanciest system but the subwoofer and the speakers do wonders for movies and video games.

    The newer PS4’s and the PS5 do not have an optical port, which is what I use with the Z-5500. This little adapter here is meant for splitting the HDMI output from the PS5 into separate HDMI video and optical outputs for Astro’s headsets but it works just as well with any other audio system that accepts a digital optical signal… like my Z-5500!

    If you have an older speaker system that you use this way and don’t want to shell out big bucks to buy a receiver, this little box will do exactly what you need!

    love the convenence of being able to put my astros in and just using the optical cable .. and it can get 120hz on ps5 even tho it dont say it will also allow it to unlock

    Failed, didn’t last too long. Give it another chance. Tested hdmi and optical cables but seemed the part just stopped working.

    Used this for about 8 months and worked great to ensure I had a clear image and proper sound while using my PS5 and my laptop for multitasking. This device does seem to over heat if used for more than a few hours a day, so it does need some caution in usage and improvements to manage possible audio issues from item overheating.

    This product i feel is meant to he broken so you have to keep buying, feels like a subscription at this point and limits you from your PS5 maximum capabilities. May just be worth getting a different headset for Playstation
