    I needed a new router, and this one seems to be doing the job. Only thing is that I have it setup in a room and it seems to be a bit far in range. But I think I need to contact Comcast and move the main setup.

    Purchased for use on a Grande Basic account. Works extremely well. Get’s the full rated speed on connection, and gaming performance is seamless. No interruptions or game lagging experienced. Will not work so well on a Gig connection such as AT&T or Google Fiber connections. Model is rated up to 1 Gig, but not over that speed. Tested on connection up to 600 Mbps, all good and no issues.

    It has everything but the phone connectivity function which I don’t think many people use today. I make sure to use the 5 GHz option to get the full speed promise by the ISP. I like how the device looks, stable blue colors look futuristic 🙂 I better choice than renting a device from the provider will pay off in a year, considering the $15/mo expense. Four ethernet outlets are also very useful. Other Arris devices looked cheap imo, but if you want to save a little can opt for lower grade options. Arris app is useful for password change!

    I am sorry to say this. I brought this product on 27th May 2023 and up to Mid of sept this year it work well. Not sure reason, all of sudden it is dropping the internet and restarting the router. I connected ISP they provide me the router for testing and it working well without any issue. I called Arris vendor support issue and they replaced the router but still the same issue persists. All other routers are working fine except this Arris. Arris support is asking me to contact ISP to evaluate the signals and i approached ISP to change the signals and they are keep on suggesting me use their Router. Bottom of the story , i wouldn’t recommend to purchase this product and feel like me to chase them.

    Absolute trash. We had our old modem for many years without issues. We had to upgrade to another modem per our internet provider’s request, so we chose this one as it was rated well and approved through our provider. It is TRASH. This stupid thing cannot maintain a connection longer than 15 minutes. Don’t even think about streaming with this guy… be prepared for your movie to cut out every 5-10 minutes. We’ve had it probably 6 months now and it’s been the worst experience. So disappointed.

    I purchased this combo modem router for my beach house in Ocean City to replace a modem that failed. Modem is compatible with Comcast for Internet service and only take 5 minutes to set up with a competent agent on the opposite end – don’t waste time trying to set it up yourself, take it out of the box, hook it up, plug it in and call Comcast (assuming you already have an account with them) – it’s as close to turn-key as your going to get. Best of all, no monthly rental fee and it pays for itself in a year or so. The wi-fi is dual channel and has a very strong lower frequency signal, which is terrific for relatively remote security cameras. I am streaming on 4 TVs (typically not all at the same time but it can), I have 3 security cameras, and usually around 6 mobile devices all connected at the same time. I was thinking about setting up a mesh to boost speed, but don’t think I need it with the wi-fi as its currently performing – it is positioned in a central location and that helps a lot with radial signal strength. I also use an over the air digital antenna for local TV programming, which provides about 10 channels for free. This configuration is terrific low-cost option for for a second home or anyone with a Comcast ISP account.

    Excellent range, speed, and compatibility with Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable). I know that this is not advertised as a gaming router or anything, but the 5GHz band is excellent for low latency. Even though my laptop is a couple of rooms over, I still get amazing speeds and low ping fit for all of my browsing, video watching, and gaming needs. I have a total of about 10 devices connected simultaniously across both bands with no issues.

    Had to get a new router cause my old netgear one finally bit the dust after 5 years. This Arris one has been the best! No dropping or losing internet, i have about 6-8 devices using the wifi at once some days and no one has had any issues. It’s been great!
