Yes- Expensive. My 1st Arcade1up machine was $200, then the next two were under $300- and now $700! However, the quality and attention to detail have improved dramatically including game controls that are significantly better. This machine is as close as you can get to a real machine costing thousands- and you’ll forget it is a reproduction when you are playing.

A gorgeous piece that makes me very happy. The games are hard, but that’s part of the fun. Assembly is a bit difficult, but the visuals, blacklight, and sound are wonderful. Absolutely recommended!

It’s really worth the wait! It brings back all those childhood memories. Tron was way ahead of its time. The controls are really good and the light marquee is nice! Discs of tron being on here, seals the deal. I hope Arcade1up comes out with a pro series of this. I would buy this again from Best Buy!

Tron has long been a game that if I see in an arcade I have to give it a whirl. It’s not an easy game, but the variety between the 4 mini games makes it not feel too repetitive.
This cabinet looks amazing, with controls that mimic the original quite nicely. No, they aren’t the same level of quality of a real arcade. I have seen pictures of broken joysticks, but I have not had any issues and I have played a lot! Just be as gentile as you can and know that Arcade 1Up is generally good about replacement parts if necessary.
The second game, Discs of Tron, is not one that I have played more than once or twice in the arcade and it doesn’t get a whole lot of play by me on this machine either. It’s fine, and I’m sure I’ll try it some more but it is not what I bought the machine for. Always nice to have additional options though!

This is a beautiful and fun to play game. Arcade 1up out did themselves with all of the cool extras they included, like the Black light and fluorescent graphics, the included stool and so many more. If you love retro games and want an affordable and quality item I highly recommend Tron!

Looks great. Plays great. Screen is bright and recessed into the cabinet which is really nice. Flourescent lighting really makes this machine pop. Is taller than other A1ups and really stands out in the game room.

Excellent cabinet. Hearing and playing the Tron cabinet brings back the golden era of arcades. The cabinet itself if beautiful and is very close to the original. It is missing the artwork on the S panel (above the display) and the light in front of the display is not a black light, but rather a light controlled by a button which allows you to change the colors. The S Panel does have a black light strip on it, and the cab is deep enough to give you the feeling of being in the game like the original. Definite buy for any Tron fan.

Been through 5 joysticks, 3 joystick bases, and I have 3 console decks now with one of them working as a mashup of the parts of all 3.
A1up service has been great and very responsive, but my warranty is now up and I’ll be going from playing the machine regularly to leaving it as room art in order to keep it running correctly.
Glorious cabinet – Gorgeous, well lit, all the right sounds, but fragile. Love it, but handle with care.
I’m still giving it 5 stars because I didn’t have to spend $5K+ on an original 80s cabinet, and that’s a 5 star rating of awesome in and of itself.

Tron is awesome! I always loved the look of this arcade classic when I was a child and it is great to have this piece in my game room. My headphone jack does not work but not too big of a deal since I prefer to not use it. Also the stick is not all that strong and quite a few individuals have had theirs break. Arcade 1up CS is great though and will hopefully offer a replacement if that should happen down the road. Discs of Tron is one of my favorite games and it plays great! The original is fun also but I can’t get past stage three but the challenge is super fun! All in all this is a beautiful piece to add to your game room.

Another great addition to your home arcade. As a heads up it is a larger machine compared to tiger releases from Arcade1up. With the inclusion of two games, anyone who has played Tron and Discs of Tron will feel very welcomed with familiar gameplay..and including live leaderboards.
Tron is an overall beautiful machine just by itself, and being great replay value for those itching nostalgia gameplay from the past.

I’ll admit I’m a bit biased having dreamt of having a Tron Arcade game in my home for 40 years, but I am on Cloud 9 having that dream come true! Assembly was time consuming, but not difficult and extremely rewarding. The game itself was freezing intermittently, but A1Up’s customer service responded quickly and sent a replacement PCB. All in all, I am extremely pleased and the only recommendation I can make is that it would have been nice if they had created a multiplayer mode for Discs of Tron–I know it is emulating the original code, but it was a game MADE for multiplayer and its a bit of a shame that its never been done.

This is as close to the actual arcade game as you can get. I own two other 1up games and this one is put tougher very well. The lights on the top and bottom puts this machine over the top. I’m very happy with my purchase.

The box was falling apart but the internal boxes seemed to be intact. One of the pre-drilled holes on one of the cabinet pieces was too easily stripped because the screw didn’t come near getting tight like all the rest. I improvised by breaking off a piece of toothpick inside it and then I was able to tighten the screw in the hole. One of the brace pieces split way too easily. I suppose I could have tried gluing it but it didn’t seem to hold much weight. I sent this information to the manufacturer and have not heard back.

I have 4 Arcade 1up arcade machines. This is my favorite one. It took about 4 hours to put together which is about double the amount of time needed for the other cabinets. One of the side panels on the cabinet I received did not align properly. Luckily the Arcade 1up customer service online portal was easy to use. I just filled out some info and uploaded a few pictures showing the problem and they shipped me replacement parts so I was able to complete construction of the cabinet. Pictures do not show how amazing this looks in person. All the lights and the original artwork look stunning. The controls are good and the inclusion of Discs of Tron in addition to Tron makes the cost worthwhile. Note that the version of Discs of Tron on the cabinet does not include Sark’s spoken commentary in the audio. The cabinet is wifi ready and can receive updates. I hope that Arcade 1up has a future update to add the speech audio. So why am I giving this 5 stars? Because the cabinet looks and plays so similar to the original Tron and Discs of Tron is a great included bonus. It is pure eye candy when it is turned on and everyone who sees it comments on how incredible it looks. There is a stool included that is pretty cool also.

Anticipation of delivery quickly turned to regret when we got it assembled only to find that the down portion of the joystick doesn’t work. Had to put in a support ticket, which apparently can only be set up during business hours. Since its Saturday, we get to look at a $700 machine that can’t be played. Very unhappy with the $700 product received that doesn’t work properly.

First machine didn’t work – down direction not working. Took it back to Best Buy (fully assembled) and they exchanged it no questions asked. Got the 2nd one and IT’S AWESOME! Flight stick does seem flimsy but has stood up to some rigorous play so far. Great nostalgia, and great customer service from Best Buy!

Just as Noted, and once assembled – it’s a great nostalgia piece and electronic art all in one! Take your time during assembly, don’t do a final tightening of parts until everything is flush.
