When this was announced, I was pretty excited because I have been wanting a pub table for a while and this sounded like a fun twist.
First, the good:
-Spinners are great! Much better than Arcade 1Up used in the past!
-Screen is a good size for standing at the table
-Table is a good height for adults and is heavy
-Easy to assemble, even for 1 person
Now, the bad:
-THERE IS NO PLEXIGLASS TOP! It’s clearly visible in the pictures, but nothing. This was the biggest reason I wanted this! It’s a PUB table! I don’t feel safe in placing drinks on this.
-The artwork on top is at risk without protection. Mine was slightly smeared out of the box
-Edge of the table isn’t rounded enough. Your palm rests on a somewhat sharp edge when you play.
-My screen has a number of MDF particles inside the screen assembly which I can see no way of cleaning out
Overall, it’s acceptable but I am a bit disappointed. At least the games play well.

What a great purchase! This table is big & tall. I’m 6’3 and this table is at a perfect height. For kids to play this comfortably they will probably need to sit on a bar stool. The size of this thing is very deceiving in the pictures. The pub table has a lot of weight to it, no worry’s of it falling over if someone bumps into it. The screen is bright & colorful. The spinners are very good. No need to upgrade them. There is plenty of room for 4 grown men to play at one time. Nobody will be bumping elbows. The table surface seems to be much more durable then the Arcade1up video game cabinets. The surface is made out of a different material seems like it will hold up a lot better as time goes by. If you love entertaining and having people game together then you’ll love this. Playing this arcade with 4 people is so much fun. It’s simple fun games. Very easy for anyone to pick up & play. Takes about 30-40 minutes to put together. It’s not very hard. It’s a little pricey but well worth the purchase for me.

This product is amazing! It’s a lot taller and bigger than I expected. The spinners work great; and it has a solid quality feel to it. The assembly is quick and easy, but having to put the waterproof stripping along the edge of the screen recess was a bit odd. My one and only gripe is that the product did not ship with a plexiglass top, and other reviews have mentioned this as well. I read that the top is coated in some waterproof vinyl, but I don’t think it will withstand beers and other drinks put on it for very long. I have coasters on mine and would gladly buy a plexi top from A1up or from another 3rd party so I can protect this thing. It would also look better with a plexi top as it would give it a durable looking sheen. My hope is A1up will address this issue for the users who bought this expecting a plexi top to be included. Otherwise the product is fabulous and worth the price given how nice it looks in a bar or game room.

Great games- great height- great replay value. 3 stars for cosmetics. Time to replace the concept art with actual pictures that show the large number of expose screws. Those exposed screws will definitely be a problem if a drink is spilled because there is no plexi glass. Such a great idea and was really looking forward to this. However, hard to rate this higher as the pictures and early concepts are deceiving. One thing I think most people will agree on are that the spinners are better than expected.

This machine looks and plays great. The weight/height are perfect. Regarding those reviewers who would like to have a full plexi cover: think about it. Arcade1Up has notoriously soft plexi covers for their cocktail cabinets (I own one), and it’s safe to assume it would be the same, easily scratched/scuffed top. Can you imagine how quickly it would start to look beat up after placing glasses on top? The coating they put on it is perfect and looks amazing, though the Atari logo doesn’t line up perfectly (hardly noticeable). I swear if people wishing for a full plexi cover had it, they would regret that within a couple of weeks. My only knock is on the assembly beneath the screen. The spill-proofing gasket must be COMPLETELY flush, or else you run the risk of cracking the cover when you tighten the screws down as I did. Kind of a rookie mistake, but this part of assembly is very unique to this product, so I guess we’re all rookies here. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the purchase. My 74 year old father and five year old daughter can both play with ease.

This pong table absolutely great, stands at a nice height and can make any game room come to life,the top is not what I expected, Arcade 1up has been doing such a wonderful job with the protective plastic glass that I thought for sure this pong table would have it, (my only disappointment ) other than that I absolutely love it ,thank you so much

Hopefully i can clear a few things up for others wanting this table.
First off, this unit DOES come with a screen protector, its in every box. I think the misunderstood wording, is that they expect something to cover the entire table. That is not the case, it protects the screen from water damage, and from leaking beneath the board between them. This unit feels like original play, very fast easy flowing control movement, like it should be. From what i remember from my Atari control, maybe even better. Also this is my 6th arcade one up unit, and have to say, its the best packaged I’ve seen so far for protection. Table is bigger than appears and very sturdy! I ordered a 34″diameter 38″ thick glass, with 4, 2inch tall round legs with holes in the center and non slip tops that will go into the existing four holes on the table top, and create a usable cover for it, when not in use, if anyone is looking for ideas. All in all great product!!

Spinners are a nice step forward. Easy construction… but hey… where’s the plexi they pitched? I won’t put drinks on this but one spill would spell doom.

Fun multiplayer with pong and it’s variants as well as Warlords. Tempest plays well, of course, and is presented in its original vertical orientation on this table. The spinners feel solid and spin well. The only thing that was a pain was putting the small rubber seal in place for the monitor. Otherwise the build process was easier than most 1up cabinets.

This Pub table looks good and it is a lot of fun to play especially Warlords. The height is perfect but wish it was a little bigger table top but great nonetheless. Would recommend for any game cave.

This machine is a great addition to your man cave/lounge. On a solid surface, I’d feel comfortable having people set their drinks on it, as a pub table should, while playing.
Assembles in an hour or so (probably less if you have a second person help.)
The caveat is you really have to like 1st generation arcade games form the the seventies to have the most enjoyment out of this. Great for the 50 year old-plus crowd to play games.

I have several Arcade1up machines and was happy to see Pong come along. It’s a childhood favorite. The gameplay on this is the great. The quality, specifically on the top, seems slightly lower than my other machines…which is a common theme for this company. I do enjoy the game play and never played Warlords as a kid and boy was I missing out!

This is one of my favorite pieces in my game room. The fact that it has 8 games and 4 very responsive spinners ! The only downside was installing the rubber piece around for the screen .

My husband is very happy with the table. It took him some time to build it but it was still pretty easy. This is exactly what’s been missing in our room. Great present for those who love Pong and other games in this machine!

I would give it 5 stars if the Atari logo totally lined up where the two halves of the bar top meet. I will fix it later with some masking tape and a paint marker so it’s not a big deal, all things considered. I would have preferred a glass top over the entire surface as well so those two complaints scratch off a star. However, the game is great, the construction is mostly solid, and the screen comes with actual glass to protect it which is a first from Arcade1Up as far as I know. I knew it wouldn’t have a glass or plastic top for the whole surface before I bought it, but I didn’t realize that it *did* have glasd so I was surprised and happy. The spinners are excellent and precise as you would hope and expect and the game selection is awesome. Tempest is a nice bonus. Warlords is probably the best title on the system. Pong is legend in its own right for all the obvious reasons and I play it regularly. I’m very happy overall and I recommend this package.

Like most things arcade1up, the build quality is very poor. The controls are also poor and the screen came pre scratched, which is the normal for arcade1up. Only buy these when they get a deep sale (I paid $100 for this).

The design for this cabinet and the games on it are the selling point. This is the only pub table style cabinet Arcade1Up has made. Itd a great form factor! The game selection is excellent. The only complaint j have is the controls are just OK. The games are playable, but the paddles do feel pretry lightweight.
