    Okay this thing is just awesome as a a throw back, emulation station. That means this is a toy, and not quite the $5000 real life arcade cabinet. It runs off a cheap little android computer instead of the “original hardware”. It features a fun, miniature size cabinet and monitor, 19inch. With the 10inch riser installed the setup is reasonably ergonomic for a 5ft 8inch tall, pudgy middle aged man and fan of such vintage emulation station. tldr? If you are of an NBA height this would be hard to play on. It isn’t the ‘realest’, and after the whistle blows you can’t mercilessly jump on downed players over and over again, like you could before the fun police got to it.

    In 2023, here is finally a legal way to play Blitz online, it is a fun center piece for a room, and it’s certainly the right price. I have since bought the Shaq Edition NBA Jam machine, because I loved the blitz machine so much. If you find your friends gathering in your living room to play blitz or jam on an emulator, then step up to a dedicated arcade feel machine where everyone has the same controls, no excuses, fast boot, let’s play the game!

    Absolutely awesome! All my friends love it. They have played it every time they have been over. It is in my basement mancave and is a staple in the house. It looks cool and plays great. Takes 2 hours to assemble. But directions are good. Very happy with my purchase!

    It is everything it stated to be. Brought back a lot of memories of nights at the local pub playing this game with my buddies back in my college days. Controllers and buttons are authentic, and the sound quality is really good for this size machine. Display is clear and bright. I have already spent to many hours in my basement pub playing. The price point is just right too.

    The cabinet was easy to build cheap product for the price! The online gameplay is a joke can never set up a game. To be honest if you have $600 to blow why not but if your a budget slender I wouldn’t recommend it.

    So this is overpriced compared to real market value by $100-$150. What annoyed me was that they took the late hits off the game and didn’t advertise as a “family friendly edition” or some other nod that the NFL forced them to take them out. Had I known that i never would’ve bought it in the first place. Is it childish that i feel that way over what some would say shouldnt matter? Maybe..Overall the games run great and there is *some nostalgia playing even though the late hits are gone…but its a no go for me
