    My old Mini from 2012 was still working fine but it was time to update my computer. I wanted the best value for my money and choose this setup. This M2 Pro has plenty of ram and I used an external SSD drive for storage.

    I LOVE my Mac MiniPro w/M2! The system operating is great and does everything the average to above-average, but not a professional graphic designer could want, with plenty of oomph and great performance. Crazy, but what I might love even more is the small space it takes up on my desk and the unobtrusive look. I went from a 10 year old MacBook Pro that required a decent amount of room on the desk, and was a pain to plug and unplug from monitors and such each time I needed to move it or access more ports. The Mini is classy, but not a space hog, and the ports are very easy to access. Bonus is the $$$ I saved going desktop, especially since I was already working with dual monitors. Small confession though – I actually have a MacBook Pro 14″ I purchased last year which is great for travel and on the go use. The Mac Mini option gave me the best of both worlds.

    This is great if you don’t want to spend the extra 700 for a basic Mac Studio. Editing works just as well on this little ditty. I use it for mostly audio editing will soon add video editing with Final Cut Pro. Responds well when viewing websites as well.

    I recently purchased the Apple Mac Mini M2Pro. The M2Pro is designed with professionals who do video editing or a lot of photography. While all that is true, I simply wanted a system that would more than meet my mundane uses. I will likely never use the M2 to its full potential which is okay by me. It has 16GB of unified RAM and 512GB of internal storage and 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports along with 2 USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI 2.1 for 8K monitors. In short, it has tons of potential for anyone who has need of fast video editing needs whether you are a professional or hobbyist who needs to produce projects for hire or fun. I bought the slightly more expensive M2 Pro in order to future proof my purchase. I wanted the extra Thunderbolt 4 ports as the cheaper M2 Mac Mini only has two ports. It also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. By the time you increase the RAM and Storage, you might as well get the Pro! I expect the M2 Pro will meet my needs for years to come.

    This is my first Mac computer. I have always been a PC fan. So far I am very happy with my purchase. This computer is really fast and compact. I like it because it does not take up a lot of space. As of right now I would buy it again if needed. And I would purchase it from Best Buy. The purchase and pick up was easy. I did not have to drive 80 miles away to pick it up.

    The performance is really Amazing, but at least you must to have a monitor WQHD to escale the resolution of MAC OS or better a 4k or 5k monitor for the native resolution.

    And it works better with keyboard and mouse of Apple

    I’ve played around for years finding a PC that just barely gets by for music production – No more! This powerful Mac packs plenty of punch and tremendous value! If you don’t mind finding an inexpensive mouse, monitor, and keyboard this unit is for you! Packed with the latest Mac OS, 16 gig of RAM, and the power of M2 Pro AND 512 GIG at this price point is insane! Plus I utilized the trade in program through Citizens Pay. I think that’s a great value as well because in 3 years I’ll exchange it for another Mac Mini with the latest power and quality. I’ll never go back to Windows for production.

    Upgrade to a prior Mac Mini (2012), wasn’t to sure at first about upgrading, it has equaled the speed of my prior one but has also added a few capabilities that the older model just couldn’t handle. I did add a dock to this one as it did remove the card reader which was a feature I didn’t like giving up. The mouse and keyboard from the prior connected seamlessly to this model as did my printers.

    One downside is the lack of upgrade options that the new design has implemented, but overall very pleased with the speed the M2 pro offers.
