    Bought this for my 95 year old dad that has brief power outages that cause him to need to reboot some things in his house. As sharp as he is, technology is hard for someone at his age. One less battle he has to fight! Yay

    We had a thunderstorm last week, losing power multiple times within sn hour. I coukd hear the device, TV and Internet connection, turning back on eith each short outage.

    If I could give this a zero stars I would. It went into alarm mode and quite working completely 11 days after I got it. It likely was a very old unit in Best Buy’s stock or just defective.

    Great ups. Dont load mismatch it. Easy to setup. Provides great protection against power surges. APC has great warranty and battery replacements.

    I have used APC ups units for many years with complete satisfaction. This unit is for one of our phone lines for which Verizon just switched to a fiber optic feed line from copper and so now it requires a battery backup. Verizon had supplied a laughable unit which required twelve ‘D” cells.

    This is my 2nd one purchasing this exact one. So far it worked well for 4yrs. I work from home and I have 3 monitors and a PlayStation 5 and a lamp all connected. Excuse the mess. But I always recommend this one to all my piers.

    This is a bulky heavy peice of equipment but living in Florida it is also necessary. Too many lightening storms to risk fried devices. I have other larger units for emergency back up, but this is great for smaller devices and PCs. I wish the pricepoint was a little better, but for the purpose its worth it.

    works as a battery backup like advertised, but there is no obvious way to see if a power surge has knocked out one of the things. Also, very concerningly, it seems to just start blaring some alarm at a random time with no explanation. Couldn’t find any info on it either, and to fix it is just unplug your whole settup.
