    The Anova Pro kit comes with everything you need and the unit works very well as intended. I did back to back trays of steaks, pork chops, and hamburger.

    I love that it always creates a double seal and that you can manually control the vacuum by pulse control. This model also has built-in storage for one vacuum sealer roll bag and a built-in bag cutter for perfect/straight cuts.

    This item far exceeded my expectations. It seals very quickly and I’ve used it so much I surprised myself!
    The form factor is perfect, the plastic roll and power cord fit inside the box. the size is small enough to fit in a drawer for easy access.
    Highly recommend this product, don’t buy any other brand you’ll wish you had bought this one!

    Overall my best kitchen weapon I have purchased for quite some time! This thing has already almost paid for itself in about a month. Marinades save me money from eating out, and the air sealing prevents freezer burn and keeps everything fresher!

    At first I was unsure about the fact there are no written directions for how to use this product. But after carefully looking at the “pictograms” I gave it a try and it worked great. I like that you can make the size of the bag as large or as small as you want by adjusting the roll. Provides a great seal, is quite and quick.

    I absolutely adore this food vacuum sealer! It’s like a significant upgrade from my old Foodsaver. The vacuuming process is lightning fast, and the double seal line provides such a reassuring sense of airtight sealing. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

    This product did not work! It did not seal well – many of the bags quickly puffed up with air after sealing.

    I love the Anova brand. I have had an Anova immersion sous vide wand for years and it works great. I have another (much simpler) model of Anova vacuum sealer and it works great. It has no bells and whistles – just vacuums and seals.

    So I was excited to get this one that has bag roll storage inside and a cutter, plus an impressive clamp that holds down the lid firmly for sealing. However, the darned thing doesn’t seal up the bags! Sometimes it did, other times not. I used to have a fancy sealer from the leading brand (the one that is a “food saver”) and it was the same way – lots of cool features but the bags weren’t actually sealed much of the time.

    I recommend you try the much simpler (and much cheaper) Anova vacuum sealer, also available at Best Buy.

    I bought this to replace a FoodSaver unit that was dying, and I must say, I like it better, except for the drip tray not being removable for cleaning OTOH, having the bag roll stored in the unit is great and the variable types of seals are a big plus.

    Fantastic unit until it stopped working, BUT then fantastic warranty service! This unit has a 2 year warranty. After about 15 months of occasional use, it stopped sealing the bag at the end of the vacuum cycle. I contacted Anova, and after providing them with my Best Buy receipt and a photo of the serial number on the unit, they are shipping me a replacement unit. Very nice to work with. When the unit was working properly, it did a fantastic job of vacuum sealing cheese, smoked trout, and even smoked bbq ribs. I am hoping the replacement unit works as well as the first one. I do recommend the unit
