    I really like these cables. They don’t get twisted up as easily and seem more durable than the typical plastic cable. They also support fast charging which is a must!

    Why review a cable? Most of the people I know don’t put much thought into buying them, but I do. It might be in part because I’m just a geek, but it may also have something to do with over 30 years of IT experience. Other people skimping on cables has led to way too much extra work for me over the years.

    Enter Anker. I originally became aware of them for their chargers, but since that time I’ve purchased a variety of their products, and been quite impressed with the quality, as well as the service when something (rarely!() went wrong.

    This particular time around, I had just jury-rigged a setup to connect three Macs to one Dell monitor, and in the process discovered a need for a USB-A to USB-C cable to support a connection to my 2013 Mac Pro. I had an adaptor that came with a network dongle, but it was a clumsy solution, and added to the mess on my desk. Something that doesn’t really need help.

    I did some searching, and when I saw Anker had what I needed, I breathed a sigh of relief. I ordered it, and when it arrived it worked exactly as I hoped it would. The quality is top-notch, and I have no doubt that it’ll outlast all the machines on my desk.

    The moral of the story is this: Buy good cables, and Anker makes good cables. Easy.

    Very nice cable. Price could be a little less, but good quality. I needed this cable to use older Samsung charger as a spare. Also carry in the car to charge using the USB port in the car.
