I previously purchased an older version of the Amazon Fire Kids tablet for my niece (age 5), who loved it, and decided to purchase this one for my nephew. It came with it’s case ,which is super durable (Considering it’s taken many a tumbles and has not signs of cracking). It’s customizable in regards to limiting screen time, enabling parental controls, and ensuring your child cannot make unwanted purchases or downloads. It has not only education content, but other fun games, as well. Battery life is also excellent. To top it off I caught this on a brilliant sale.

Grandson loves his tablet and Dad loves that he can control what he watches on the tables. The Pro has a good case but it doesn’t seem like it is as durable as Fire 8 Kids which seems a little more for younger children

My only issue is YouTube kids. I thought that this iPad would prevent certain inappropriate adult content from popping up even after I turned off the settings on YouTube but somehow some inappropriate content end up slipping through. Maybe its an issue on YouTube end idk. Also when you do lock screen when watching say YouTube videos, it doesn’t stop the video from playing. You can still hear the video playing from the lock screen. Downloading apps takes forever though. But I love the security if my child tries to download an app I get notified asking my permission to do so because this prevent them from buying games/apps without your permission. Other than that its a good kids iPad.
