    Pairing was easy using the Alexa app.
    This sub enhances the sound experience when listening to music. However, now that the Echo Show 15 supports Fire TV you would expect when watching movies, etc. the sub would be active.

    NOPE!

    If you have an Echo Show 15 and use Alexa to listen to music the sub may be helpful. If not, it’s really just a boat anchor taking up space.

    without this it has the atmos but it feels like the true kick was missing…. now my lgc1 4ktv feels so immersive.

    We have 5 alexas in out home, all work great! Bought one of these speakers, hooked up but never played music, called amazon help line, spent two hours on the phone for them to say it must be bad, exchanged for another, after an hour of messing with it, finally got it to work. Doesnt have much base at all unless u turn the music up to loud, unplugged the sub to see the difference in base, never worked again. These speakers are garbage, dont waste your time, guess thats why bestbuy doesnt keep them in stock.

    Sounds great and adds a lot of bass to my echo show 10. Highly recommended if you want to have the echo show instead of a non display model and have the same or similar sound as the studio.

    These speakers paired are horrible. When they are individually place they are fine. Hard to enjoy music in a room with only one speaker. Terrible !!!

    I pondered for months if I should purchase this or not based upon the mixed reviews, and I am absolutely ecstatic that I did. This sub is not earth shattering but it made a huge difference in the sound when I paired it with 2 premium sound echos. If you want to experience the power and difference this sub makes just play Korn Thoughtless or Depeche Mode Personal Jesus and I guarantee you will be sold.

    The Echo Sub works with a variety of Echo devices, but I’ve paired it with two Studio Speakers. By themselves they sound very good, but with the Sub added in it really rounds out the experience. It’s not a stand alone product and I don’t know if it’s good with older Echo’s but once you’ve bought in for the Studio’s theres no reason not to get this. Configuration of the Studios and the Sub as a group in the Alexa app is a real PITA. Be prepared for that to take some time.

    Sounds good, setup was easy, and haven’t had any connectivity issues…lately. Initially there was an intermittent lag between the sub and the main unit. I think there was a firmware update that fixed this issue.

    I can barely tell if its on. The sub volume is turned all the way up, the low is up in the equalizer, i dont know what else to do. I didnt install it right away and by te time i did the return time had passed. But if this is the way its supposed to be, dont buy one.

    The Echo Sub is an extremely well-made device. I have it paired with two Echo Dats in my Master Bathroom, yep, My bathroom. I put the sub inside one of the sink cabinets and mounted the Echo Dots up on the wall.

    The Echo sub performs excellent in this odd configuration.

    I do wish there were audio settings for the sub but the default settings do perform nicely, and I do not have any complaints.

    Value, it’s a little expensive and never seems to go on sale. But it does perform well for the price.

    Great product. You have to go in to the app and figure out the bass settings. Didn’t think it was working at first but had to adjust settings.

    I wish this thing was never discontinued. I love it! For $120, it’s a good subwoofer. Switching between speaker groups could be easier because it can only be paired with 1 group at a time.
    It has good bass for its size. It’s portable and hide-able.

    I dont really hear the bass as much as I want to. Hard to control how powerful this subwoofer can be but it does make the Echo studio sound better

    I am a 35 year tech. I am not easily defeated. It works poorly with Mesh networks, particularly Eero which Amazon now owns so that is a bit odd to start out. I connected it to my echo studio to increase bass response. When I actually got it paired and working (no small task), it sounded worse! Took it back immediately.

    Overall average with meh subwoofer but if you want to add a bit of base to your Alexa set up it’s not bad.

    Just the perfect low frequency addition for my pair of Amazon Echo Studio speakers! Easy setup (make sure you unpair any paired speakers before you add the sub to your desired speaker pair). The only real improvement they could make is to give you a more complete equalizer menu, versus just bass, midrange, and treble.

    I was hesitant because I was going for a specific setup in my bedroom. Simple. Minimal wires. I’ve got two echo dots 5 and this sub bass truly converted into a surround sound system. The bass is incredible.
