We were deceived by the store display. Bummer.
We are very disappointed with this product. The store display and video says it is easy to connect and install. That is untrue and deceptive
Best buy and Amazon fail to mention that this product will not work on older cars. Our cars are 15, 20 and 25 years old. We don’t have any way to connect this to our current car radios. Our cars have no Bluetooth or plug in adapter that they mention in the instructions.
If you dont have a newer automobile this product will not work.
We will be returning these immediately.

It’s nice that version 2 is smaller but it doesn’t really seam any better than version 1. It is actually slower the respond than the original version. It also would be nice if it was usb-c rather than usb-a.

Wokring great however sometime its not connectikg to thr app. Happened bery tarely. But wnated to let you all know. Sound quality generated to the car sepakers is really good. Helpful to dropin home or to cal freinds.

Honestly, when it comes to the Alexa auto device, its a bit lackluster, there are better Alexa enabled automotive devices available. As are as functionalities arw concerned, it works but in my opinion, its impractical, design is terrible, and there you have it. If consumers desire Alexa in a vechile i recommend devices like iOttie with Alexa enabled. It operates as a wireless charger and gives the user full use of phone and Alexa capability.

It’s better than my car’s native Bluetoot, I use the aux cable, but I think is super biased to work as it should only with Amazon services, with Spotify it shows some limitation at the offline mode.

I have great hopes, but the Echo Auto won’t synch with my Pacifica. Alexa has not been much help in installation. A Chrysler technician spent an unsuccessful half hour trying to help. Our local Best Buy Geek Squad does not have an auto-qualified tech, so I’ll have to drive 40 miles to see whether this is a viable product. I will re-review if I get good results

One of the missing components regarding technology lacking in my EV is an AI voice assistant. This Amazon Echo works seamlessly with the Bluetooth and responds to voice just like the other Echo devices that we use in our home. This 2nd Gen version is vastly superior to Gen 1, which was not the best. I’m pleased with the quality and value.

It is ok. If you have Andriod Auto (or Apple Car Play), I wouldnt waste money on this. I have Android Auto and this offers very similar functionality. If I hadnt gotten it on sale, I probably wouldnt not have bought it.
