excellent item, love it, will refer to friends and families. easy to use and to charge. thank you bestbuy.
JoshC –
Easy to use and is convenient for older vehicles with no aux or Bluetooth capabilities
KristyA –
This works perfectly in my 05 Cadillac Deville! I will be buying more for others
EduardoC –
Works well. My only complaint is that you have to turn it on every time you use it and this includes ejecting it from the cassette player, turning it on, and re-inserting it every time. Not much of a hassle, but it would be nice if it auto turned on when I turned on the car/cassette player.

Works great for my dads car would buy again if had to…hopefully he gets a new car though lol

I recently bought a 1997 Corvette that had original cassette stereo. I don’t want to disturb the vintage dash vibe with an awkward looking new head unit but I want to listen to my music apps on my phone. This suited me perfectly! No noticeable change in sound quality at all. I will do the mod of removing a gear, suggested by another reviewer, as my unit does eject the tape for no reason.
PamN –
Good Bluetooth system for my Mercedes. So thankful that I can find something like this to work on my old car.

Had an older car with no bluetooth capability but a tape deck. Bought this, and can now listen to music and audiobooks on the go at a much higher quality than with my phone speaker! Remember to charge before you use it, and if the sound quality sounds off, try turning down the volume on your phone before turning up the volume with the radio!
YorkPA –
Pretty good charge life and decent sound quality. However, there is some noise and hum that come though when nothing is playing. Pretty easy to sync and charge. The on-off-bottom is in a good location if your tape enters in the long direction to the head unit.
BluetoothCassetteAdapter –
Not sure about the battery life. The sound is a little muffled. I like this product for the price. The buttons and LED indicator lights are great.
Beesnest5 –
Super inexpensive fix for an old deck. Works great!

So I purchased the Aluratek bluetooth cassette and was super skeptical. It charged up in no time and was super simple to pair to my phone. The sound quality was amazing which was my biggest concern . All in all I would 100% recommend this product to anyone

Love this product ! It has transformed my 25 year old boat cassette stereo system into a spotify linked audio upgrade for like $35. amazing !
JJRogers –
My car is 20 years old and the stereo has no hands-free or Bluetooth options. A new stereo would be ridiculously expensive, but this little gizmo allows me use my music apps and the sound quality is excellent with no lag/buffering.

Works seamlessly in a 2005 Toyota Highlander. I’d say the sound quality is pretty darn decent — certainly above FM quality. There’s a very slight gear-clicking sound that’s unnoticeable when music is playing, and I find it can be mitigated by tightening the screws that hold the cassette together.
MichaelB –
Works just as expected, great for cars with older cassette stereos
DavidS –
works well. It is very easy to install and works immediately
Matthewh –
Very nice. Lasts about 12 hours. Dont have a wire in the way. And plays in stereo.
machete –
Works great can’t afford to switch radio yet and it worked great with old stereo
ErikaV –
Works amazing, no wires, and long lasting off a single charge! I love this product! 10/10 recommend !
MatthewS –
got this for my 1990 chevy pickup, easy set up, connected to my phone easy. clear sound on the stereo, highly recommend.
DavidK –
I have an old truck with a cassette player but no bluetooth connection. This solved my problem and allows me to listen to Pandora, Audible, etc. on my radio.
grantperry –
Works very well with about %60 of songs, with some having distorition even at low volumes. Other than that, it works better than expected.
Lanitra –
Its not bad for what it’s required to do. I don’t like how you have to keep pressing the button in order to get it to work.
Yolanda11 –
They were a gift to a friend with an old school car and he loves it especially on long car trips.
Deeje –
Works like a charm for my sons older car. Its not like it turns older tech into modern tech but it certainly is better than having no Bluetooth to play songs from his phone through the car audio system. I would recomend still planning to use speaker phone for calls etc ans having your phone on a good mount to access in your car.
Casey –
Im using this in my car now!!!! Best investment ever!!!
GeovanniF –
Works great in my car! I was surprised by the quality of it.
JacobC –
Hooked it up and had more static than actual music, no matter which way or how many times I tried the static was over powering the music. Went to a competitor and got one for $10 less that works perfectly. Thought the extra price would get some better quality… I was wrong.
KennethP –
I purchased the Bluetooth cassette adapter for my fiance’s car because her car did not have a Bluetooth radio it was a great purchase from Best buy she loves it thank you !!
Blazer624 –
This works fine if you use your car regularly because it has to be charged via USB prior to each operation! Having to autos this didn’t work for me,
ColtonL –
didn’t stay in the cassette and kept cutting out. ‘
AnthonyF –
Better than expected. Long battery life. Better alternative to the radio Bluetooth adapter everyone uses
KalebhB –
Works well, battery life is okay. Sound quality is relative. Usually you have to lower the volume halfway on the music device for best sound quality from radio speakers.
JanetR –
Worked for 2 days then stop working all together!! Money wasted i waited to long to return! Good while it lasted!
RobN –
Excellent sound quality. Works perfect. Definitely recommend.
AudryannaW –
It does what it needs to do without complications.
Moteka –
Got it for my 1992 vette. Works perfectly. Now im making up words so i can leave this review.
Marie –
Glad this cassette Bluetooth worked and the sound quality doenst sound bad with either. Would buy this again if needed!
Sarah –
Great way to make use of the tape player in older cars.
Louis –
This device works great and brings the ability to stream from my phone through the tape player in my older truck.
The only thing it does not do is work with phone calls for a hands option.
Kris –
A great addition if you have an older car with a tape deck good battery life.
MaryD –
This is a wonderful addition to an older vehicle with a casette player that you want to stream your favorite music to. It really works great and makes a big difference! We love it!
AnaS –
Don’t buy this cassette, it’s actual trash. It sounds like part of the song is missing. I got worried it was my car’s sound system at first but I’ve tried other bluetooth devices since and they worked fine. The sound quality on this thing is seriously so bad, I do not recommend.
JoshwonF –
I use it in my 2000 Dodge Ram and it does wonders!
RonaldA –
Excellen I give it A A plus
It’s a beautiful thing to have in my new ride. Every time I need a new one I will come to Best Buy.
Fredo –
Highly recommend product worked perfectly in our car,
ChrisE –
Trash and random will swap to tape 2 instead staying on tape 1 because of the casket player and get suck in the casket player
EthanP –
Glad they still make these, bluetooth works great. Keep your stock radio.

Great device. I have an old school Buick that doesn’t have an updated media player so I love the idea and the performance of this device!
