i think i may be the only person in north america who has bought this game, as i’ve not once been able to play an online match after waiting for awhile. that’s no fault of the game though, which is honestly pretty fun!

if you’re familiar with Armored Core or DAEMON X MACHINA you’ll probably find the combat pretty familiar if not a bit simplified, except this game is a 3D arena fighter where you and your opponent control 3 characters each and need to strategically swap between them.

as for the story mode, it’s relatively simple with visual novel-style dialog portions, followed by combat, followed by more dialog. i do think the branching paths were a fun addition and add to the replayability, although diverging from the main path will see you missing out on story battles, so maybe do those in a second playthrough.

or don’t! have fun! the world is your oyster, and cute anime girls in mecha armor are the pearls!

You play through each character, including leveling and buying items for them seperately though some matches you have a fixed team and they can be upgraded etc at the same time – you dont choose the team. Very very very short story, maybe maximum an hour per cgaracter but bonestly i skipped dialogue after the first playthrough. There is some variance but you never get a real conclusion, you llay to grind. Why? No idea. The game is likely intended to be one you play against teal people. Combat is fun enough, you are flying and have various range weapons and one melee. Though there is much equipment you should just choose the true exclusive to the character you have as it is the strongest for them. Play we d the story many times but more for the very quick combat which is fun enough. Game definitely is overpriced, maybe a very generous $20 would be better.

Great Game on the go. However, if you want to play on the big screen get the PS5.

This is a great and fun way to pass the time in short bursts!

The story is pretty short, but the gameplay itself is fun. The customization of the characters are cool to. It’s worth buying if you like a game you can spend 10 minutes or 3 hours playing at a time.

  6. TXiON

This is an arena shooter with multiple female characters (yes only female characters) to choose from. So you choose your character watch cut scenes of their motives and goals then you chose which nodes to go and either fight 1v1 or teams of 3v3. Gameplay can be fast and repetitive and each character’s story can be completed within 5-7 mins. But im guessing the fun is suppose to play online with other players. Unfortunately i can never find a match so this is pretty much dead in water. Stick with senran kagura series, at least there are fan service.

Good game to turn my brain off to. Combat is fun and i even bought a cooy for my brother.
