Although a bit expensive, once we started using it and we feel the difference immediately. We had a Whirlpool Whispure before, and this purifier shows much better result. Cleaning it easy on the pre-filter and hopefully the HEPA filter last as long as they claim.

Got it for $120 off and it works great. Dust was a huge problem and now see very little. Allergies also a lot better. Can’t recommend highly enough. Noise might be your only issue if running on MAX – doesn’t bother me.

This air purifier seems to be great. It work well so far. I can’t tell more about it now since I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks. I will update my status in a couple month or so. Overall it is good product with a nice LED light display.

Have two BreatheSmart Air Purifier’s in different rooms of my home. I noticed different responses in both with the various changes of the environment. If cooking in the kitchen while auto is on the speed of the fan will pick up. In the bedroom while on auto the fan usually stays the same unless something changes the surroundings.

Overall I gave this a 4, but only b/c it’s impossible to tell the true efficacy of this product. I am sneezing a lot less (I have a cat and the dander had me sneezing incessantly) and can feel the air circulate around my entire living space (I have an open layout of about 1,000sq ft and the purifier is in the corner). It’s extremely quiet on low & medium mode and has a sleek look; tho it’s slightly larger than I had expected.

I moved into a house where the basement had been flooded a few times and wanted something to clear out the smell/any mold. Prior to buying this you couldn’t stay down there for any length of time without sneezing/coughing and the smell was horrendous. Once down there it took a couple of days to move from Red to Blue but it was able to handle the 900 sqft easily I think. The basement is now a gym and I can run/cycle without any issues breathing wise

Can be loud if on Turbo, I’d say equal to a dehumidifier on high

I bought this product with HEPA-style material and activated carbon layer, one year ago for my brand new house air clean, but its did not work as I thought, I had to fix it to make it better by myself. Wish I am able to return it. But it already used for a year.

So my husband got in his mind that we needed a purifier after his boss said it changed his life. So after a lot of research we decided on the Alen Breath Smart. It has been a great buy. Yes pricy but we have noticed a huge difference in our air quality. Our purifier sits just outside our family room next to a wood end table. I would dust and within 2 days there would be a pretty substantial amount of dust there. With our new Alen it is almost 3 WEEKS till I feel I have to dust! Easy cleaning of filter makes it a quick task. Overall very satisfied!

I got this one particularly for cats room. I already own 2 Blueair purifiers for our bedrooms that I also got from Best Buy. Alen attracted me by the ability to customize the filter. I received the unit with HEPA filter that worked wonderfully until I decided to get OdorCell filter to combat my 2 kittens odors. No one can believe we have 2 kittens – our house smells so fresh. This unit looks very slick and modern, I won’t call it silent, but it’s not disturbing. I’ve tried to switch on Auto and noticed how fast and a bit loud it starts working at first until it clarifies the air. I usually run it on speed 2, and when my kittens are away from it, I run on Auto. Very simple to replace the filter and clean the unit. When I removed HEPA filter after 1 month of use, I’ve noticed a lot of cat hair stuck to the front – it shows how well it works cleaning the air from dust, dander, hair and allergens. OdorCell does the same, plus gets rid of all the bad smells. It covers large area as well, I believe slightly more than 1000 sq ft. We have open plan and it works well cleaning the air when I cook as well. Love it and highly recommend!!! I know, these brands are not cheap, but well worth. I’ve noticed, my daughter doesn’t have severe seasonal allergic reactions anymore and house smells clean.

I have named my Air purifier “Alen”, not very a very clever name but it is an awesome air purifier. Very sensitive to smells in the house, from cooking, to the dogs, Alen is always aware when something changes the quality of the air around it. Blue light indicator glows when its is happy and red when its mad. You can hear and feel the difference quickly as it adjust in strength.
A bit expensive but i was tired of not being able to get enough sq. ft. from lesser air purifiers. It also seems that the filters are going to be expensive to replace and require change more frequently than expected. Just because of the price point, i would give it 4.5 stars and not 5.

The dust level has gone way down. The smells from cooking don’t linger and the air is very fresh when I walk in. I’m sure this will also do great when pollen season comes back around.

I was hesitant to spend this sort of money on a air purifier, but after doing a ton of research I went ahead with it. We have it in our basement and noticed a difference within a day.
I was worried the Auto feature was not going to work as advertised, but that seems to be running correctly also.

Great air purifier but not as strong as description states. I have in an area that is about 900sq ft and it seems to always be red… meaning air quality is low… the place is always clean but with two dogs. Kinda pricey to not work as well as it states.

I have two dogs and I purchased two of these for a two story home. They work extremely well and after a week or so, they finall went from red air quality to blue. The filters do an amazing job to help my wife and I breathe better. The auto feature is nice also, since it ramps up or down depending on the air. Keep I. Mind that the filter is mostly silent, but can get loud on high. The filters themselves lasted me a few months, I occasionally vacuumed the pet dander and hair off the pre-filter. Overall a great unit, and highly recommend.

We have had almost daily Air Quality Alerts due to the smoke and particulate matter. This has done a really good job of keeping the air in our house clean. It is most noticeable to my wife who is asthmatic.

I like many features and that has good filters. Its a little noisy on high I have to chose a lower setting at night-but its great if someone comes to visit with a mask on-I can turn it on high to get rid of virus within a short time. I try and open windows too.

This air purifier is very attractive & does not detract from the decor of my living area. It is doing a tremendous job of eliminating dust mites in the air and the recurring accumulation of dust particles on my glass top furniture, that had previously been very difficult to keep under control.

Ordered my Alen purifier a few years ago. In the meantime, they changed the name of the purifier making it confusing when a few years later I needed new filters. Accidentally ordered the wrong ones. Took them out of the package to fit them in the filter, then realized they don’t fit. Now Alen is refusing to refund me since they were taken out of the packaging, despite the fact that they are not used at all.
I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, which will be significant as I live in fire country and need a lot of filters.
