this has to be one of the best computer chairs i have ever used. Perfect chair specially if you have lower back issues.

So I’ve only had the chair for a day so I can’t speak to the longevity of this product, but I can vouch for it’s comfort and easy assembly. Granted, the package was rather heavy and awkward to maneuver right out of the box, but in terms of actually putting the chair together, it was rather straightforward. The rich, black surface is easy to clean, is well trimmed and blemish-free, and actually sitting in the chair is quite cozy while playing games. The wider base also makes it more comfortable for my body type, and the adjustable height/posture is suitable for all needs. 10/10 will recommend to a friend once he buys his first gaming pc lol.

Sounds like a cheapo brand but is actually really nice quality for the price. The side bolsters aren’t very big and it’s big enough for me to cross my legs when sitting. 6’3 220lbs

It’s a nice chair, seems quite sturdy and is very roomy for those looking for an oversized chair. Nice adjustments on height, tilt, and arms. The assembly instructions are pretty bad, but went together easily… just needed to look at pictures of the final product to figure it out. It is a very high priced item, and can’t say that it’s worth every dollar, but is better made and more substantial than the “budget” chairs, so mixed on whether worth it. If less expensive/on sale, then would be 5-star.

After seeing some of the junk my friends have I was against this style of chair. But I gave this one a shot and im glad I did. Its super comfortable and well made. No creeking and feels solid. Would recommend.

Chair is comfortable and sturdy. My son loves the chair.

This extra wide chair was very easy to assemble, took about 30minutes. I sit at my desktop sometimes 60 – 80 hours each week and this chair is very comfortable. I love the adjustable back (up to a full 180° recline) the adjustable arm rests (they have adjustable height, adjustable depth, they pivot and are removable). I you sit for any length of time you need this chair, it is a great chair and of high quality.

I absolutely love this chair! It’s pretty easy to assemble too!

The major good points first. THIS THING IS COMFORTABLE AND WIDE!!! I’m 5′ 6″ and 250 lbs, 39 years old, and my son is 6 foot tall and 250 lbs and 16 years old. We both use this chair regularly, and we both fit in it just fine with no real complaints. For about $300, I think that it was worth it. The materials are great, and feel very sturdy, and the chair is very adjustable. It’s not noisy or squeaky.
The piston is a little springy, so plopping into the chair is nice, and the seat is soft. I got the extra wide option because the “racing” style of these modern seats adds those stupid raised edges on the sides, and I thought they would be annoying if the seat was too narrow, and I was CORRECT! Thankfully, this seat is extra wide, so those edges are less of an annoyance. I say less, because they are still there, and are a little annoying, but still padded enough not to ruin the experience. Had we gotten the narrower version of this chair, it would have been a deal breaker.
The pillows are where my son and I differ. He doesn’t like them, but I do. They are soft and convenient, in my opinion, but he doesn’t feel that they help with ergonomics at all. They attach and detach pretty easily, so it’s no big deal, and the back is still comfortable without them.
The back is also very adjustable, thanks to the reclining feature. With the piston located further towards the back of the seat, the center of gravity allows for almost horizontal positioning, if you want to. It’s not very tippy, although I’ve almost tipped forward, rather than backwards.
The materials for the chair are pretty great. The armrests look like hard plastic, but they are more like a harder rubber-like material. Firm, but not hard. The arms are also very adjustable. They move forward, backward, in and out, up and down.
The seat feels like a dense foam. It’s a little firm, but definitely soft enough for long sitting sessions. The leather-like material is soft and supple. The headrest area of the back of the chair is soft and comfortable. But again, the raised sides of the seat are a little annoying.
The only real downside of this chair was the instructions. They only used basic pictures to guide, and the pictures lead you to believe that the arms should be put on earlier than they were supposed to. Not a major issue, but I expected better there. It was still pretty easy to assemble with one person. It took about 20 minutes, but I’ve put several office chairs together before. It’s not rocket science.
I attached pictures to this review. I added a king size Mounds bar and a D&D Essentials kit for scale. Lol. Also, I took a seat-level picture, so you could see the raised side.

Very comfortable chair, plenty of support and adjustments

Got on sale and its a solid performer. Adjustable, comfortable, sturdy, even for a larger size person. Setup in about 5 major parts, beefy hardware supplied.

Oh my… this chair is lifechanging. I thought I had a decent chair before. I was wrong. The lumbar support is amazing. The neck pillow is perfect. The seat itself is comfortable, and the adjustments are all great. It has greatly improved the ergonomics of sitting at my desk – I can tell immediately.
I can’t speak to the durability over time since I’m literally typing this review still wearing the cloth gloves they include in the hardware kit (which is a great touch – helps keep your hands clean and keeps from spreading grease and grime all over the new leather). But it feels remarkably sturdy and well-built. I hope it lasts. But frankly, if something does happen, I think I’ll just buy another one. It feels that good already.

Nice soft chair, can game for hours in this.Excellent.

This chair is not bad as far as comfort goes but for a price point of $499, you would think it would be better than a standard chair. Wait for the price to come down more if you want this chair.

Finally spent the money and a chair and man i have been missing out. I love this chair
Anita –
Very nice chair. Comfortable. Easy to use. Easy to assemble. Back reclines which was a make it or break deal.
CherryLord –
Chair is Comfortable and only took about like 15min to assemble
Smear1987 –
While the instructions only show pictures its not rocket science how to put together. Took me 20 minutes by myself. The chair itself is comfortable, the lumbar and neck support are really nice. You can tell its made of higher end materials and super durable. I’m 6ft 240 and have no complaints. I would never pay the full $500 for it. Wait for a sale i paid $369.

Solid chair that will withstand the test if time. I normally go with ergonomic chairs but this one is sturdy. Really easy to assemble as well.
DeranD –
Been needing a new chair for Work and gaming. A little on the high side price wise, but it is a good chair.
MichaelL –
seat cushion does not hold up for hours at a time only for a short time before butt start hurting

Great chair, it’s comfortable for big guys. Saw it reviewed on the web. The reviews were not wrong. Very comfortable, only knock I’d give, but not taking off a star. I like to sit high. My former Secret Lab chair would sit higher.
MatthewB –
Extremally comfortable, high quality and easy to assemble.

I’ve had this chair for 2 months now and it’s only gotten more and more comfortable. The size is great, it’s comfortable and it makes it easy to game for long periods of time.
BrianJ –
Wide and comfortable chair, great for a bigger person.

I have had the “AKRacing – Core Series SX-Wide Extra Wide Gaming Chair – Carbon Black” for about a month now.
Pros:
-Good width for an above average guy. Our two kids have no complaints either
-Comfortable, no leg pinching.
-Arms rotate in a simi circle and forward backward
-Nice tall back for a 6 foot guy
Cons:
-Arm height is about 3 inches to low if you have above average torso length. Had to go buy some arm wrest pads to bring the arms high enough for my comfort.
-Arms do not adjust inward.
Other thoughts:
-I am still trying to find the best place for the back padding.
-Kinda wish the head rest was a little bigger.
-Would have been nice to be able to lock the chair at different tilt angels like the one I got a few years back from Office Depot (which we still use, this one is for the 2nd computer setup).
Overall I would recommend as long as the cons I listed are not anything you would consider a deal breaker. We got this on sale for $350 instead of the $500 that the site says it normally sales for.
Also wish Best Buy had a location to sit and try out some of the best rated chairs they sale. Like Office Depot has. We had to return a cheaper one cause it was listed as wider, but was way to thin and cheap built.

I am 6’5” 250 and have been having a nightmare time trying to find a decent office chair, especially because around me no one has demos to try out. I am pleasantly surprised with this chair, it does everything fairly well. The Engineer that designed the assembly needs a raise, it was super easy. My only real complaint is the seat padding, (it may still need broken in) but it’s not the greatest.
Poop –
It’s not any wider than any other chair. Has wings on seat that jam hard into your thighs. Would be ok for a small lightweight person. Another bad purchase.
RussayH –
It even had white gloves inside for installation. Putting it together was like setting up my rig, it felt goooood. Then I sat on it and it was like being wrapped around in silk. Let me tell you, yes it was expensive, but trust me when I say that it’s well worth it. When you sit on it there is no question you’re sitting on a 500 dollar chair. The quality is unquestionable.
FirstshotpewTTV –
Lil over priced as far as comfort but quality is definitely good, you get gloves to assemble lol
RobertD –
The best This chair is very comfortable and does not give you any problems.
Ryanmcfly –
I have really enjoyed this gaming chair. It’s super comfortable and I can play for hours in comfort. It has great lower back support too and a reasonable price.

I come in at 6’4, 230 lbs and this chair feels PERFECT. The build quality for the price you pay is amazing. The chair is sturdy and feels/looks premium while you sit in it. If you’re going to have long gaming/work sessions, this is the guy to go with. The included lumbar support can allow you to sit in that chair for HOURS without feeling any form of discomfort.
