great quality build and display. unfortunately it’s quite a big footprint on a standard desk. also the pole in the back sticks up in most settings. overall this did not suit our needs so it was returned.

This is overall a good monitor. It has more features, like ΔE<2, 90% DCI-P3, PIP/PBP, not listed in the specifications. You cannot find a better deal within this price range with a 3-year factory warranty. It would be nicer if it was slimmer. The stand is easy to adjust height but it could have been designed more elegantly but again... At this price, 4K, HDR10... you can't beat it.

The monitor’s stand has a large height adjustment and there are two HDMI and one DisplayPort connections. Speakers are untried but also not needed.
No visible dead pixels.
No bright or dark areas (luminance uniformity).
No electrical problems after being left on more than two months straight.

Great monitor. Adjustments For angle etc. are easy and precise. When monitor was received factory settings had to be adjusted for brightness.

Acer really needs to do better in the quality control. The display seems fine, but the buttons panel is sunken into the frame. I can barely press the power button and the setting buttons. I imagine it was an assembling problem. I can’t really afford the time to replace it, so I will just keep it for now. Still would recommend it, but it’s a hit and miss.

great clarity and brightness. The stand is a good fit on my desk

Great monitor, using for still screen business applications such as spread sheets, word processing and CAD files.
We do not have a heavy video requirement.

love this monitor! i got a great deal and glad i pulled the trigger.
ips panel with hdr10
settings are easy to adjust
nice bright screen with no dead pixels
toolless design, no screws. Just lock the stand to the base then set the monitor on and the weight of the monitor will set it at the desired eye level.
has display port but i had to use HDMI to access my laptop’s dedicated graphic card. going USB-c to DP the laptop defaulted to the intel graphics.
I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend. especially when it goes back on sale.

The refresh rate is amazing and the 4k stands to it.
The build quality and the stand that holds the set is great.
The monitor has built in speakers all though the volume is very less.

Minimal bevel, great colors, has PIP but turning it on and off require the use of the menu and several steps. Good for the 250$ or so that I paid.
Easy to setup, as are most monitors. No dead pixels. Quickly finds video source once turned on.

I have been using this monitor for a month, mostly for productivity and some casual gaming. I got it when it was on sale and it was a great price for what it offers.
The monitor checks all boxes and has all essential features. I could not get HDR to work without some weird results. I don’t know if it has to do with the implementation in Windows or the monitor.
The speakers are decent for video conferencing and music.

Neat picture, 360 rotation is excellent.
Sturdy. Does not come with DP cable, so add 20 dollars for that. Price for 4k display is really good. Adjustable height works well and it is easy to adjust.

Nice screen, but doesn’t look as sharp as our 720, even being 4k. However, it was one of the cheapest 4k options, so that is probably a factor.

This is an excellent monitor for the price. I have it attached to a mac mini and PC at the same time. The resolution, color cant be bought for the same or lower price. Love it using it everyday.

Only had this monitor for a few months and the top bezel/frame started to warp. (See attached picture.)
Not sure why it did this, but I’m pretty upset that a monitor costing this much would start to warp it’s frame/bezel.
The Acer CB282K has a great picture, good brightness and build quality is very good.
I have two of them on my desk. Using a VisionTek Radeon 7750 2GB GDDR5 SFF Graphics Card, with 4k 2 DisplayPort 1.2, PCIe, and 7.1 Surround Sound built in.
Card works well using the display port output to feed both monitors. Built-in speakers on the Acer CB282K monitors are adequate. Not bad, but not great. They perform well for average YouTube video streaming.
4K video from YouTube looks fantastic on these monitors. Very clear and crisp picture. Almost looks like 3D. Monitors have good depth when viewing 4K signals.

Not as good as I thought. I’ve been having many issues with it and cannot return it because it passed the 14 days of returning time.
The driver isn’t working as expected and the monitor is not recognized everytime I start the PC.

Great monitor. Great for coding, or reading when positioned vertically.
I do sometimes see, a glitch in the display. Can’t say for sure if it’s the monitor or the HDMI adapter [Belkin AVC002BTBK] I have been using. Both are new, and I have not tested any of them with any other products.
Personally, I think there’s no need for a 4K resolution at 27-28 inch panels. You have to scale 150%-200% to be able to read anything. 1440p or QHD or 2K is enough, and probably the best at 27-28 inch segment. Those 2K resolutions are cheaper and the refresh rate can go up to 240 Hz.
You are essentially not making use of 4K at 27-28 inches if you are using the monitor for office work only. If you are playing games or watching movies, then that’s a different thing.
If you are thinking of 4k monitors, you need to get 42-43 inch panels, to be able to use it without scaling it 200%.
ManishG –
Exactly what I wanted. The build quality, resolution are good enough. I wish built in speakers quality was better.
SamS –
The image quality is great, the set up was very easy and I really like the range of movement that this offers. Also, a side-note, this does include built-in speakers, even though the description doesn’t say that it does, but the speakers are not very good, and you’re better off, using headphones or external speakers.

I’ve always been a fan of Acer monitors. Just upgraded my old one for a larger size. Easy setup.

Great monitor, has 4k and good frame rate. I have three now.
