    Amazing graphics, art direction, soundtrack, and voice acting. Everything is great, however, “Innocence” (the first game) MUST BE PLAYED FIRST before going into Requiem. Taking one star off for delayed delivery

    This (the 1st PS5 game I played on my finally gotten PS5) is MY 2022 Game of the Year (that isn’t a JRPG, anyways). If I’d have played this before the awards, I’d have chosen this for Best Voice Acting, & Best Story. But I didn’t play this before I voted…
    Anywise, the 1st game I played on my PS5 is A Plague Tale: Innocence, then I went right into this sequel. This game gets my top vote for many things — story, voice acting, graphics, emotion, world design, & being well researched into the times of the French Inquisition.
    The ending touched me. Deeply. Wow!
    I highly recommend.

    I’d never heard of this game until I began searching for something that was as engrossing as The Last of Us. I found this and was happy to discover a great story with interesting and unique gameplay. If you like historical fiction and a taught narrative that drives gameplay, this is definitely worth checking out!

    This is a perfect sequel to the original plagues tail innocence. It deals even deeper into the power of the rats and the relationship between Hugo and Amicia. At about twice the length and includes a variety of new ways to combat enemies. This game is fun from beginning to end.

    I loved the first game and was excited for this one. I tried playing it on release and found the 30fps cap to be too jarring after playing several 60fps games before. I decided to wait and see if the developers released a 60fps patch to finish it, and they came through. It’s a great follow-up to the first game and improves on it in every way.
