    The comfort of this controller exceeded my expectations. It’s the most comfortable Switch controller I’ve played with. It feels like a first-party controller. I love that it looks and feels like the Super NES controllers of the 1990s, but with added 3D analog control sticks and an extra shoulder button on each side.
    When you sync the controller for the first time, it is a little tricky but follow the directions that come in the box exactly and it will work.

    this controller is very very good,but I I’m just so used to playing with my Playstation controller that it’s a bit of a challenge for me to get used to this smaller controller. but overall great product.

    Although I am not a fan of this company any more, I think their controllers stand a chance. They fell very good and cause nostalgic feelings.

    Even though quality has hit a new low compared to their older controllers, this controllers are pretty decent.

    I picked this up so I could play super Nintendo games on my switch and feel like I was playing with a classic controller. So far isn’t hasn’t been a disappointment.

    Really love this controller. I use it in X-input mode on android and it works great; you can use D-input but some emulators like Retroarch don’t recognize the buttons correctly in this mode . Buttons feel very nice and high quality. Bluetooth works perfect. I think this controller doesn’t need the analogue sticks but it doesn’t hurt. Got on sale for $35 and that is the most I would pay for it. All in all definitely recommend for some retro gaming and even modern Android gaming.

    Bought this for my 5 year old son as the I feel the joy cons are too small and the pro controller is too big. This is perfect! It pairs easily with the Nintendo Switch.

    The D-pad is one of the nicest I’ve ever felt. The ABXY buttons are also really nice. But the triggers are strange and trying to use it for 3D games feels so weird. Great build quality though

    Everything about this controller is great. I love the form factor and the responsive buttons. Only problem is that the pairing process is stupid. For one, the controller turns on with the start button, not home. You have to do a button combo to actually get it to pair with your switch, pc, ios, or android device. A toggle would’ve been nice.

    It took a little bit to figure out how to connect it to switch because I didn’t read the instructions. Once I did it worked perfectly and I can live out the nostalgia of SNES properly. It also makea MarioKart 8 easier to play for me than the nunchuks

    Worked great for a week until Nintendo rolled out thier last update 4/18/2023 and controller no longer functions with it. I loved it so much at first that I ordered a second one which is being delivered tomorrow, unfortunately I have to return both.

    The controller was easy to set up with my computer. It feels great in my hands. The layout of the letter on the buttons are odd but as long as you don’t think about it too much it’s easy to get past.

    This controller is absolutely perfect for the Steam Deck.. I would imagine for the PC too. Works great with all those Roms I downloaded online. I highly recommend this.

    These are nice little controllers that I use for pc and switch. I usually use a cord when I play on pc because its quick and easy. the wireless connection works well too.

    I own two of these. They are, hands down, one of the best portable gamepads I’ve ever used. They’re small enough to just throw in a backpack, they connect to just about everything, and the buttons and sticks are all great. AND it’s close enough to the original SNES controller for all that old Mario muscle memory to kick in when you’re playing retro games.

    Things to keep in mind though:
    -This works on PC, Android, iOS, and the Switch. But that’s it. It’s not going to work on other consoles, due to it not having the required security chips.
    -While I endorse using it as a portable gamepad, it’s not necessarily optimized for that. It uses full sized analog sticks rather than the little low profile slider sticks some do, so it can definitely get caught on stuff. Though on the plus side, the full sized sticks are really nice and even after years of abuse my original controller looks and works just like it did when it was new.
    -Unlike pretty much every other peripheral maker on the market, 8BitDo really doesn’t push their software on you. To the point that it’s easy to overlook that it even exists. It does, and if you want to do any significant customization or button mapping, you’ll want to use it. There are a lot of options to be had.
    -Unlike many other mobile-focused controllers, there is not an included clip to hold your phone. That’s a separate accessory, and it does add significantly to the bulk. Still worth it in my opinion, but if that’s what you plan to use this for you may want to plan for it.

    very nifty controller for travel. not sure how i like it tbh. the concept felt right in my head but i might just sacrifice the bulk and carry around a normal controller that is more ergonomic

    Good joysticks, supports Switch motion control and vibration, wireless on several platforms. Bought as a replacement for the same model which lasted 3+ years of heavy use, not sure if this one is more durable.

    I love this thing! Great battery life, portable, connects to multiple devices. The size takes a little getting used to, but it beats doing Tetris to fit a full size controller into a sling bag with your laptop.
