I got this to compliment my Roku Streambar. The streambar had all this marketing that the sound would blow me away. I use a powerful Onkyo 7.2 surround system in one room and a Sonos in another, so the soundbar didn’t have near the same punch I’d hoped for. The addition of this bas module did make the sound much better, but still weak compared to premium systems. I did up the Bass settings, oddly, you need to have a video playing in order to get to those options. I recommend anyone get a subwoofer, especially with the basic Roku Streambar. I don’t know if the Pro version of this Bass would make a significant upgrade, but at the price difference and for the use of this (a side monitor next to my computer) it does the job fine enough.

Had it next to the TV and it filled a 15’x15′ room with lots of bass. Then I put it behind the couch now I can feel the bass also. Highly recommend. Actually had to lower the settings a bit and I like bass..
